Tim is an amazing mechanic. After 2 other mechanics couldn't fix my air conditioner and one turned it into a heater (in the midst of summer!), Tim performed magic on my car and brought so much comfort back into our lives. I'm no longer roasting as I drive to each client and I'm so grateful. He also spent time showing me each component and how they work together. I highly recommend this awesome, hard working (and funny!) man.

I have been going to Tim for over ten years. There are not enough good things I can say about him. He has worked on everything I have brought to him and I recommend him to everyone looking for a great mechanic.Tim is one of those rare mechanics that wants to help you, not fleece you. He is not the cheapest mechanic in town, nor an expensive dealership. He is somewhere in between. He uses OEM parts so don t bring your own, it s a warranty issue and he wont install them. Best of all he won t up sell you on unneeded maintenance. If he does find an issue with your car beyond the scope of the repair while he s working on it, he will call you let you know what he found, how much time he thinks you have, and let you make an informed decision.My one key advice to anyone going to see him, be honest about what is going on with your car and previous work people that have worked on it. One way or another he will figure it out. He can figure the problem out a lot faster if he knows the history of the vehicle.Tim is usually swamped mainly due to his popularity, call him in advance and arrange an appointment and be ready to leave your car there and not wait for it unless he says its ok in advance. He is a great mechanic, not a magician.If you take a car to a cheap mechanic, you usually get what you pay for. If you take your car to Tim you will be happier in the long term.Tim cares about his customers and when you find a mechanic this good, he eventually becomes a trusted member of your family.

Tim is great! He is thorough, fast knowledgeable and honest. He also doesn't try to sell you on anything you may not need. He takes the time to break down in detail what needs to be done, why it needs to be done and how he gets his estimate. Our Jeep needed new brakes and he actually beat his own estimate by a decent amount of money.

They are amazingly helpful and polite. I walked in to show my cars trunk for a repair and Mike helped me instantly. He was very helpful and generous with his time. On top of that he didn t charge me because it was my birthday it was a pleasant surprise to receive this treatment. Very much appreciate it

Tim, owner/ mechanic of White Oaks Auto Repair , I found him online and my appointment was at 9 AM and he took me on time and he estimated the work to be completed in 90 minutes. It was less time and the costs were less than he quoted. I did not feel high pressure. I plan on bringing in another car for service. His business is 4 miles from where I live. Tim was very professional. He had a clean shop and he is reasonably priced. I would recommend this business.

Tim did a fantastic job rescuing the 2012 Mercedes E350 Bluetec lemon I bought from a shady dealer. He replaced the excessively stretched timing chain and found and repaired a huge leak from the power steering pump. I called around all the shops in the area and even the Mercedes speciality shops did not want to touch this job on or work on a diesel. Tim has great attention to detail, is very fair about billing, and is very honest. He has a can do attitude and is more than willing to take time to educate his customers. I highly recommend Tim for Mercedes Bluetec diesel repairs! He has earned my repeat business.Service: Engine repair

I went in to see Tim with a non-functioning window on my Jeep. Tim took the time to show me what was wrong and even told me how to fix it! Tim could have charged me hundreds of dollars as it had been broken for over a year and I would have paid it. Instead he was friendly, honest, and extremely professional! He had me out the door in 5 minutes and I can now roll my window down! Thanks Tim! THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I'LL EVER GO!

My 2016 c300 needed an oil change asap and after calling nearly every shop in the area I found Tims shop. Not only does he work weekends, but he goes above and beyond to take care of every customer. Owner is very honest and gives reasonable prices. Tim will make sure your car is fixed up and you understand why a repair costs so much. He is a great local business to go to for car repairs.

I was in San Jose from out of town when my coolant light came on. Even though they were busy and it was on a late Friday afternoon, they took care of this quickly, and with no charge. If I lived in San Jose this would be my car repair service.

Honest, speedy and kind. I ended up at this garage after my brakes urgently needed looking at. My infant son was with me. They stayed open late (even later when he was sick.. one million compassion points for that.) to help and got the job done quickly the following morning. Highly recommended

Definitely my go to auto repair place. Tim always takes the time to make sure you understand what he's going to repair so you never feel like you're being take advantage of. Car repair is never cheap, but the cost here are very reasonable.

Steve has been taking care of my cars 560 SL and E420 since 20 years. Most knowledgeable ethical honest Mercedes specialist I am lucky to have found. I have since moved to Sacramento but plan to drive down to Campbell for my C and Sevices - 1995 E420 is going strong at 260K Miles thanks to Steve!!!!

Steve is the world's worst mechanic! He worked on my girlfriends BMW for 3 years and couldn't find the shower of dripping oil that he was paid to fix. "Couldn't find any thing wrong" is his tag line. I would say that it is tough to find anything wrong with your head so far up where the sun doesn't shine.I hope that Steve contacts me in regards to this review.SincerelyMichael Gladden

over what a shop in San Francisco quoted! A when Steve replaced my cracked inner axle boot, he did the outer one too, "because he had one at hand and was in there anyway" - no extra charge. Try find that somewhere else. I have been back with a BMW since - same thing, excellent job, for half of a SF shop quote. It's worth the long drive for me any day.

Michael Gladden stop posting things that are not true. Steve is the most professional, reasonable mechanic you can find for German made cars. Every now and then those cars can be lemons, and by the sound of your comment it was a piece of crappola. You need to direct your childish comments into buying a car that best suits your needs, and it s probably not a German car, as these cars can be temperamental & cost $$$$ to repair. You should already know that, but this is a friendly reminder that posting angry, baseless, and untrue comments are the pinnacle of ignorance. If you dislike him & his service then try finding another mechanic, or take it to the dealer , and pay out the a$$ for their service. And please, please, puh-leaze, think about what happened, and take ownership for your part in the situation (going there for 3 years, you must have been satisfied or you re a complete idiot, expecting different results, but doing the same thing over & over again ), and then, shut-up!!
