Really pleased with this place. We were traveling a cross country road trip and had a flat tire. I brought it in first thing and they put me at the top of the list. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They were friendly and helpful. If you need assistance in Cambria, CA then these guys are it!

Went in to receive help, they came recommended. Need to get back home several states away. Prettry much, they didn't have alyone to just look for 5 seconds my problem. they seem to have high raitings but I don't trust them. How I am treated when I get places tell a whole story of how I am going to get treated. They will probably want money. Same with NAPA, guy there wasn't helping a desperate man and he sent me on my way in 10 seconds. I have ran into problems while in California but have always been treated as though I am important.

Busy, a little shorthanded today,phone ringing off the hook, but in spite of all this, everyone smiled, and most importantly, delivered outstanding service. Handled my crisis, saved my vacation. Can only speak highly of the service.

These guys are really great professionals. I was on a trip to Cambria and they fixed my car. Quickly and at a very decent price. While others elsewhere prefer to replace entire subsystems, at Gerber they understand how cars work and they are capable to diagnose the exact problem and fix it. Gerber's took care of me and my truck when there were multiple problems. There were so many that they gave me a break on the final bill. Also the prices they charge are on parts are comparable to online suppliers. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great service. Fast and friendly. We rolled into town with a slow leak in our tire. They were able to fix us up immediately and for a pretty good price. Strongly recommend!

Wow, my ford edge steers like it should. Car was at paso ford for a week the first time. 3 days the next time and shaking not fixed. I tried Gerber and new rack and pinion plus cv joints did it. The plastic cover was hanging down on our rental car. After the landlords could not be reached, we drove to the workshop on our own. They fixed us the plastic cover without having to wait long for a very good price. I would like to start by saying that I am very happy with how we were treated! We are from San Diego, and had driven to Monterey. While driving we kept hearing what sounded like an animal trapped under the hood. We stopped in just to check and see what the problem was. We were going to change a belt at home. When we came in the two guys looked under the hood and said yes the serpentine belt was worn. But the squeak shouldn t be that loud. So if we wanted to wait he would grab a quick bite to eat and fix it for us. We decided to stay. They pulled the belt off and noticed the pulley was the problem. We also needed to replace another belt and so we did it while it was easy to get to. They didn t have the parts in stock and had to call the parts store. They delivered the parts in 20 minutes and we were back on the road. In total we were home within 2 hours. Best service I could have ever experienced.Now to speak about everyone that works there. So nice! We felt comfortable and my 4 year old was happy. Mr. Gerber provided us with A+ service.If we find ourselves in your neck of the woods you can guarantee we will be back.Thank you for your kind ways and fast service.The Nunes family.

Gerber's Auto really cares about helping people no matter what. On New Year's Eve my wife and I reached town at 3:00 pm to find our hotel room wasn't ready yet and so we drove down the street to the beach for an hour. When we returned to the car less than an hour later we discovered w had a flat tire. Panic raced through our minds since it was an hour to closing time before a major holiday that most businesses tend to close early on, and no one would be open the next day (New Years Day) and who would even answer the phone so close to closing before a holiday. However, our hotel recommended calling Gerber auto, and we spoke to a nice lady there who said if we came in she would let her technician know we were coming so that he wouldn't leave for the day. We found the shop in the industrial park and we were warmly greeted and chatted for a while with the receptionist. Meanwhile, the mechanic discovered we had a razor blade in our tire, but he was still able to patch it up for us in less than 30 minutes. We are so grateful to Gerber Auto for helping us at the last minute on both a national holiday eve, and for saving us so much stress (the next day was our wedding anniversary and we were 500+ miles from home with no way to go anywhere or get help). Gerber turned the whole catastrophe into a pleasant chat and friendly experience that we would gladly recommend them to anyone needing an honest and trustworthy mechanic.

Gerbers has always been very thorough and competent. They handle most services on cars/trucks, but when it gets beyond what they do (like my major front end work, or my heater radiator replace), they will recommend someone else. Great to have someone like them (competent, honorable) in our small town

After a long drive, I arrived in Cambria and realized I had a tire rapidly losing air. I did a quick Google search and Gerber's Auto Services popped up. It was near closing time, but I drove directly there, knowing that I would be stuck with a flat tire if I didn't get help soon. Upon arriving, the staff was leaving. I rolled my window down and one of the workers (Patrick) asked what was wrong. After explaining my situation, he said he would open the shop back up and fix my tire!!! Patrick quickly discovered a razor in my tire, removed it, repaired the tire, and had me on my way to enjoy my vacation. Can't recommend them enough!Service: Tires

i have had work done several times here. hard to trust a mechanic but when you find one...stick with them. these guys are honest and fair and will get the work done as you requested. They are honestly priced and they are local and easy to get to. call Cameron. he helped me. I will bring my car back. I also have another car that I have brought to GERBERS. thanks guys.

I was just there earlier today with Tire issues. I called ahead & spoke to Camron (I hope I spelled his name right). He was great over the phone! I drove over, he immediately came out & started helping me with assessing what the problem might be. My dashboard indicated to check tire pressure w/a red light which is not a good thing. However, he found no nails, etc. He checked each tire & their sensors. Afterwards even corrected the tire pressure for each tire. It appears nothing was wrong. I just want to thank Camron! He was an Angel for doing this for me & at no charge, as I was one very worried lady. Camron is fantastic! Thank you Cameron again~

My experience with Cameron at Cambria Tire and Auto- Gerber's Auto as a traveler from MN , was exceptional. On 1/16/17 my wife and I had a flat tire the night before we left town and the next day was a public holiday so we got the tire changed to the temp tire and then stopped into Gerber's Auto to get main tire fixed. I walked in and saw Cameron who was working on a tire and asked if I could get a tire repaired as we were on our way to San Diego.He was just finishing up on another tire. He came over to our auto, took out the tire and within 20 minutes had the tire fixed, took off temp tire, put fixed tire back on, bill paid and we were off withing 20 minutes. Two things 1) the cost was a very small fee to our surprise 2) That Cameron did it right away 3) We didn't have much conversation - He did a professional job and during the process handled two customers who came in , three phone calls etc. and got us out in 20 Minutes . Talk about hard worker. You could have gouged us as travelers. Thanks Cameron I can see why you are so busy and well respected. I recommend Cameron and Gerber's Auto.Frank and Linda Armstrong, MN

The mechanics at Gerber's Auto are honest and kind. A friend and I were having serious car trouble due to hitting a rock on our way up to Big Sur, the radiator was screwed. The car kept overheating so it took us a full day to travel 30miles. We arrived at Gerber's auto at about 10/11pm at night and then waited for them to open. Right when we walked through the door they were kind, helpful and sympathetic to our situation. Within minutes they had our car off the ground and were diagnosing the problem. They then informed us they were unable to work on our car, 2013 Chevy Volt, due to never have worked on that model before and not wanting to practice on our vehicle knowing how much we were depending it, they're honesty was very much appreciated. Then they gave us they're advice and phoned us a tow. Thank you so much to Cameron and the staff at Gerber's auto.

Camren Gerber and his mechanics are top notch. They offer free evaluations, give honest assessments and never over charge. A friendly, quality neighborhood shop. Highly recommended.

Gerber's has a good reputation among Cambria locals, I took my car to them recently for a check engine light and got the information I needed regarding repairs. I would recommend them.

Everything is running well. Next time I have an oil change I will suggest that my windshield washer squirters be checked. The driver's side nozzle is plugged and I keep forgetting to clean it out with a sewing needle.

I am a local of Cambria. Camren Gerber is a fantasticly honest person who says it Like it is and will bend over backwards to help with all our transpotation needs. I highly recommend this establishment to all locals and tourists passing by as well.
