Highly recommend Kg performance!! Great customer service and you get updates on you vehicle repairs. Kevin and his team were able to fix a few problems that I had on my 1999 Tahoe.

This shop came highly recommended by a tow truck driver. I was able to drop off and pick up my car after hours. The estimate and payment was done electronically. The work was done quickly and as described with no surprises. I will use them again.

Kevin and Floyd were excellent in working through a major repair with my daughter's Jeep. I've always been hesitant or anxious when going to car repair shops. I first sought out recomendation from local mom groups, and I am glad I came here. The repairs were major and it hurt to pay - but I know the cost i was quoted were reasonable and repairs were done timely.

My 2008 Volvo had several issues come up as it hit the 150K mile point. A/C system, radiator, CV boot, and brake control module all needed repair or replacement. KG took care of all of those over the past two months and everything has been performing perfectly since. No pressure or strong-arming tactics from KG.... they let you know what you car needs and leave the decision to you. Their shop is one of the neatest and cleanest I have seen, and that is always a good sign! They are also very up to speed with using internet for customer notifications, detailed information on the work done, and online bill payment. I got my 2002 Mercedes Benz serviced here a few weeks ago. Let me tell you, this place is amazing! They have great open honest communication with customers. It literally felt like family. Will definitely be returning!

KG Performance and Auto Repair was recommended to me by a friend...I just needed an oil change but I was leery because in the past I've had other Mechanics tell me after an oil change that this that and another thing needed to be repaired ASAP. Turned out they were trying to sell me unnecessary repairs....Not these great guys at KG. Floyd was very professional and answered all my questions and he didn't make me feel dumb. When I picked up my car Floyd did mention to me about a couple of things that would need attention down the road but nothing dire at the moment. Great guy......So Ladies, if you need some work done on your car but you're not sure where to go because you're worried about being taken advantage of..... Worry no more, KG is the place to go ......Thanks again KGService: Oil change

You always hear horror stories about car mechanics trying to rip you off and do unnecessary maintenance but you absolutely do not have to worry about that here. These guys will even go above and beyond to do the heavy maintenance other shops won t want to deal with. The most honest and accommodating shop I ve ever been to with the nicest mechanics I ve ever met. I ll recommend these guys 100%! My wife 2011 Lincoln MKS stopped in the middle of the street while attempting to make a lift turn. The car was filled with smoke unable to drive nor see the front of her car. Later a tow was called and the driver suggested that we tow the vehicle to KG because we were actually going to have the car towed to the Dealership. So we went along with the driver suggestion. Well where our car was towed we notice that their were a couple of repair shops in the same area. Well Floyd, the manager met me and we talked about what happened and I was informed that KG works with emails and I thought that was a very good idea and KG repair will give me all the reports from the diagnose on the car by email. Well this was totally new for me. Well within 24 hours KG sent an emailed with all that was wrong with the car. There were a few boxes with suggested repairs and within the area requested if we wanted to have repaired for approval or step to not being approved for repairs. Well thought this was GREAT because it gave me a total description of what was needed to repairs and the cost. Well I was kinda impressed with this method in details of the repairs & the cost in each column there was a description of repairs and cost.Later within the week I received an e-mail stating that the car is repaired. What was so great was that I paid the bill through the email.When my wife and I arrived to KG, Mr Floyd show us the bad parts that was removed and given us a description of the repairs. We thought this was so thoughtful and I m serious about this. I just don t bother about writing a recommendation to any repair shop or store but this one I suggest that everyone who has a problem with their vehicles please bring it here to KG repair shop and speak with Mr. Floyd. As of now KG will be our placed of business for any repairs. I needed to replace my knock sensors and valve cover gasket on my 99 4runner, the mechanics at the shop did a great job at replacing them and Floyd had very good communication and kept me up to date with my car. I will be returning to them to bigger jobs that are out of my skill set such as a timing belt.

Kevin and the KG Performance team are seriously the best! I recently came in to have my oil & filter changed, brakes checked, and fluids checked. When I called in for service, Patty at the front desk was great with getting me scheduled for a service appointment, gathering info on what I needed, and gave me a timetable on return of my vehicle. Kevin took the time to greet me when I arrived and allowed me to give a brief rundown of what I needed. Patty called me later in the day after the team had done diagnostics to inform what was or wasn't needed at this time. After my OK, they got everything dialed in and told me to come pick up!I greatly appreciate the communication, honesty, and fair pricing from a top mechanic and team. This was my second visit to KG Performance & Auto Repair and I'll continue to utilize his services! Vehicle was starting hard, some drop-off of power. Self-performed minor ignition tune up did not correct the problems. KGPerformance quickly ascertained poor fuel pump performance. In-tank fuel pump was removed and replaced. Car starts quickly and performs like new. We brought the car in Monday morning and picked it up Tuesday morning. Floyd Leach the service advisor was straight forward, in no way attempting to sell additional services. We couldn t be more pleased.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Kevin is a nice guy who is up front and goes out of his way to make sure you know what to expect price wise and completion time. He is an experienced mechanic and his attention to detail shows!6/14 update - Had to take my vehicle to KG again due to my bearings going bad - told them I had to go on a trip by Wed and got me out the door next day! Amazing service and their online updates are real time and brings the customer service notifications up a few notches, very modern touch. Cant say enough about them.

Engine light came on second time and brought in. Floyd Leech checked us in. Very professional and helpful. They found the crankshaft position sensor and coolant fitting plug in upper radiator hose needed replacement. Work was done quickly and got my car back within 24 hours! Car is running great! Floyd and his team were exceptional, patient, and helpful in every way. I had to replace my AC in my BMW 528i and the overall costs were out of my budget. They worked with me to allow me to solve some of the parts issues independently and then completed the work weeks later when I had done what I could. Kevin and his crew have performed work for us a couple of times now, he has become our go to guy anytime we have a problem to address with our vehicles. His honesty, kindness and expertise during the stress of having to deal with automotive repair has been wonderful. This is the second time I have used KG Performance since the switch from Swedish Performance, and am very happy with my experience. I was able to get my car in right away and get it back the same day. The receptionists are extremely friendly and were able to look up my past services to see what my car was due to have done. KG Performance is amazing! They are honest and dependable Their prices are fair and reasonable. I have no hesitation whatsoever to have them perform maintenance and repairs on my European vehicles, and my coworkers have taken their domestic and Asian cars there as well. Kevin and his crew were very friendly. Kevin is a very knowledgeable mechanic. Its hard to find people to work on Corvttes. He knew how to lift my car and do the service. He performed a complete check on my car and advised me of what should be done in the future. KG Performance are AWESOME!! They re in the old Swedish Performance bay in Camarillo. For much of my life Bert and crew kept my parents , my and now my kids cars going, so we were a bit hesitant for someone new. We need not have been! New owner Kevin even has some of the old mechanics from SP. He and Patty in the office are professional, with that small town courtesy we love. They did thorough repairs, working within our budget, and got the cars back to us within a day. Such a relief to find a trustworthy car mechanic!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fast professional service for Swedish car. A problematic door lock issue was fixed was somewhat pricey, but blame the car , not the shop. They did a difficult repair other shops probably would damage car upholstery in order to do quicker fix. Awesome shop, Kevin and floyd were very nice and kept me updated on the repair of my ac on my Prius. I previously brought my car to another shop in my area, cough mayers automotive cough. and that they basically sent me away telling me my car wasn t worth repairing and that I should just trade it in. Didn t even want to repair my vehicle. Totally different experience using KG, felt like the future of auto repairs, everything was dealt with online from seeing the small problems that you wouldn t know you had cuz they do a full service inspection, i had cracks in my serpentine belt and they gave me an option to confirm whether I wanted to repair it or not and how much the part and labor would be. Now that s next level. My car was repaired in a timely manner, correctly diagnosed the problems which were my Evaporator core leaking, and AC compressor giving out. and finally after 2 years of suffering without AC I can drive my car with the windows up and actually enjoy my trips with ice cold AC blowing.
