Rob rebuilt the engine on my Yamaha xv250 4000 miles ago. Runs perfect, no issues of any kind. Would take future work to him. He is a mechanic 1st and foremost, keep that thought in mind when working with him.

Go read the reviews for Nor Cal Powersports on yelp . Rob (owner) is rated 4.5/5 stars. I have had Rob service my six motorcycles, Side by Side and a couple classic cars for the last ten years. Rob doesn t screw around and he doesn t play Mr. Nice guy. Rob is a mechanic, so when you speak with Rob, understand he is a MECHANIC, not a customer service rep.Regarding the review below about taking Rob to small claims court totally BS I know the situation and the customer the customer is in the wrong here. Rob and the customer decided to do a trade, then the customer changed the terms of the deal once half the work was done on the bike.Rob s specialty is smaller motors, but he is also a hot rod enthusiast. Rob s labor rates are very reasonable, his parts costs are very reasonable, and he stands behind his work by offering warranties. What more could you want.Go down to Nor Cal Powersports and speak with Rob before you buy into the other reviews here. Like I said, I have had the guy to my work for ten years now.

Be careful with the owner as he is untrustworty. Did business with him and he did not pay me.Responding to the owner's comment. I did a transaction with this person (will not call him a gentleman as he is untrustworty) and I provided my service and he did not respond. Have tried reaching out to him twice with no answer. As I said, be careful, his word is worthless. John Flynn

I was a good friend, Got ripped off took Rob to small claims. I got my money back and leaned a very valuable lesson in life. So I guess he could have one star for that.

This guy burned me when he got married. Totally blew my deadline never finished the work and then refused to let me take back property of my vehicles. Morgan.
