The people are Chilton are complete pros. I got into a hit and run with my 2023 Lexus with less than 500 miles on the odometer. They worked with Geico, Enterprise, and also did an incredible job on getting my car back to showroom new (of less than a month ago). Having had no prior relationship with the, they kept me updated, paid true attention to detail to my car, and treated me like a long-time customer. And I could not be happier with the results, which you can take a look for yourself. Great business.Service: Body & Trim

Carstar burlingame provides very bad service and not professional . Just two panels damaged and End up whole car with small scratches , missing clip. I believe they wash car with old microfiber towel that trap dirt.

Al and the ladies in the office were great with explaining their process and availability. I dropped-off early, and they did beautiful work, restoring our car in a timely manner. Very courteous and professional service.

I have pretty good experience with Chilton, provided I had rather small scratch and dent on my car (so I can't speak for more severe damages). Even it's a small dent, I know that matching the color can be a problem but they did a pretty good job. They even wash my car for me! Also, it is easy to drop off the Enterprise rental when you pick up your fixed vehicle -- you just leave it there.

Forgot to put parts back on my truck!! Paint job looked like garbage!!! Color dining even match. People are rude and not helpful!! Don t take your vehicle here if you want it done the right way !!

Was in here 6 years ago to have my bumper replaced. When I left while driving down the road, I realized my bumper wasn't securely attached.I went back and they gladly installed the rest of the hardware.Last week I had to change my break light bulb and realized there were some missing fasteners in the trunks interior on the back which is no huge deal.Today I am having my oil changed and while it's on the lift, I notice my entire rear license plate lamp assembly is missing which can only happen if the bumper is removed and replaced.I tried calling twice but got no answer. I would like to give you a chance to resolve this at which time I will be willing to change my rating.

Was referred here by my insurance (Progressive). My claims rep called the office with me on 3 way. It was a few minutes before closing and woman answered. My claims rep asked when she could have me drop the car off and if I needed an appointment. The employee said something along the lines of right now we are doing drop off about 2 weeks from now. No appointment needed just show up during business hours. I thank her and we end the call confirming with my claims rep that I ll be there in 2 weeks to drop off.Drop off day comes and I arrive at Chilton and I am shocked to hear that I need an appointment and that they can t take my car because the estimator isn t working that day. After a heated back and forth between myself and the front desk staff they looked up who I spoke to that night and made an exception allowing me to drop my car off that day.The woman set the expectation that my vehicle manufacturer was very behind on parts and that the repairs could take an extended amount of time. I thanked her and we took off. I was surprised the next day to get a text stating the repairs were estimated to be complete in just over a week and they would keep me updated via text.Chilton was able to deliver my car 2 days earlier than anticipated and it looks great. If I am ever in need of repairs on any of my vehicles again I would return to Chilton.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They fixed my car for a catalytic converter, and left it like new. Another thing that I really appreciate is that they took the time to wash my car and even wax the tires. Great service!!

They deliver as promised and very courteous front desk lady.I did a repair with them a year ago and they made the car look brand new again. I had a squeak sound and took back the car to them after a year and they fixed that in 15 mins flat with no charges.The font desk lady and the technician were professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

I had my vehicle repaired at this location. The staff are all really friendly and very knowledgeable. They Also did a wonderful job repairing my car. Not that I want to come back but definitely recommend it for those who need to have the vehicle repair

I chose this Chilton in Burlingame because they previously worked on my car a few years back. Chilton Burlingame is consistent with their services. The staff are friendly and gives customer service. They fixed the dent on my door nicely. My problem wasnt with the actual service, its with all the extraness that happened. I got my car back and noticed my ash tray had been looted? I was thinking maybe they cleaned in the car but no, one of their employees sat in my car going through the ash tray ._. Usually places dont detail clean the inside if all the work was done on the outside. Im glad i didnt leave anything else out cause who knows what sticky finger employees they had IN my car. Pretty sure they took the car somewhere too as my mileage was really low upon return but i had just gotten gas before i dropped the car off.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Very unprofessional. Extremely rude owner/manager. Unresponsive. Didn t fix everything insurance told them to. They caused other issues once I finally got my car back. Will never use them again.

I was in an accident where I was rear ended. It was so frustrating to have to deal with someone else s insurance but Addy and carstar made it easy. We had an exceedingly poor experience with this business.1. Our car was in a minor accident (driveable afterwards). We took it to Chilton the next day and they said it would be ready within one week. They did not end up returning the car until nearly a month later.2. Throughout the entire time they had our car, they were extremely unresponsive and uncommunicative. After they extended the completion date a few times (without telling us - we only found out when we called to confirm about picking up the car and they said "oh it's not ready yet"), we started calling them more regularly to get updates. Ailesa often answered the phone and would say she would get back to us with an updated date, but she never once returned our call or email (she emailed us once with a document to sign, and then she never replied to any of our other emails). We noticed that after we paid our $1k deductible - which they pressured us to pay before releasing the car to us, because we were supposed to be traveling outside of the area on one of their original estimated completion dates - they went totally radio silent on us.3. When they finally returned the car to us - after us calling them many times and stressing the importance of getting our car back - it had new issues that it never had before. The engine was having trouble starting and the whole car was vibrating when idling. They were extremely rude over the phone when I asked about the issues and were refusing to investigate them. Then they took the car to some external mechanic they know, who didn't provide any sort of diagnostic report about the issues, and based off this Chilton denied that there was any vibration issue (which another auto body shop subsequently refuted). Chilton claimed the engine issues were because the battery died while it was with them (weird because we never had any such issues before), then refused to replace the battery (which they are able to do, and we would have paid for out of pocket) because Al at Chilton was salty that we had considered having the car moved to a different shop due to the challenges stated above. He was very rude on the phone when we discussed this.4. They returned the car to us on Empty with the Low Fuel indicator light on. We did not take the car to them that way; it really demonstrated the worst kind of customer service.5. Our car insurance had the car towed to a different auto body shop, which confirmed there were multiple issues with the car including the vibration upon idling. Again, none of these things was an issue at the time we gave the car to Chilton.Obviously, we would not work with them again!

This repair experience was exceptional. Our drop off was easy, all updates were communicated quickly and clearly, and the techs even dropped the car back off at home when it was completed.
