I d like to extend a genuine thanks to Paul and the Autohaus family - I had some minor engine trouble that would have cost an arm and leg. When I gave them a call, they slotted me in quickly, charged me an honest amount, and went above and beyond and helped me and test everything to make sure I was set. What was expected to be a 15 min job took 30-45 minutes andthey didn t sweat it. I ll be bringing my work here from now on.Thank you Paul and team!

A few weeks back, my friend and I were road tripping from San Fran to Big Sur, and we had just gotten on the road when his vehicle started overheating and smoking. We pulled over immediately into Autohaus Schmid. Even though they weren t able to fully service our vehicle because it was a Buick, the manager came outside to take a look and give us some direction on what the issue may be. Their expertise and willingness to help two people in need (who have literally no car knowledge whatsoever) fix the problem and get to where we needed to go is met with the deepest gratitude!

I can not say enough good things about Paul and his crew. I hate going to the dealer. I love coming here. They are so nice and trustworthy and transparent. Very comfortable for women. The last time I went in, Paul had to run a diagnostic on my car and he put air in my tires and filled my washer fluid. Just to be nice. They are master car mechanic. I have a 1998 old Jeep, It need repair sometime. I used this auto shop since I live in Bay area almost seven years. I m a foreigner and I didn t know auto shop. Luckily I found this auto shop and they are very helpful to me. They are masters car mechanic, and forward safe drive, and communication very well especially to me who is a foreigner . So right now 25 years my car still running good. From the second we spoke to this business, we were treated with honesty and respect. They fixed our 2013 Mercedes for less than half of what our local dealership quoted us, which saved us thousands! And they had it ready for us to pick up - just a day after we dropped it off! Now, it runs like a dream! Incredibly good work, super fast turn around, and truly reasonable and fair pricing! Thank goodness we found this place! It's now our go-to place when our out of warranty Mercedes needs anything fixed!A+ Service! From the minute I call there I always have a really good feeling when I am finished with the conversation I have complete confidence in their work Paul is really accommodating he goes out of his way fit me in on the spur of the moment. They do the work quickly and thoroughly. And before they do the work Paul make sure he explains everything to me that needs to be done and is really patient with me if I don't understand what he's talking about which I really appreciate. When they tell me my car will be ready it's ready you know to be picked up or if not sooner than when they said it would be ready. I am never you know held up on time or anything because they're running late I have a really great experience every time I bring my car there and I will not bring my car anywhere else and I have a 2007 Audi A4 and I'm just really happy that I found them because finding good customer service and good quality work for a vehicle is very difficult and very hard to do. I'm really grateful that I found them and even though I live in Pacifica I bring my car there and will continue to do so. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs work on your car thanks again guys I appreciate it!Service: Auto brake replacement

Accommodating, friendly, competent, prompt, and very honest. This is shop with a long history and a well-deserved great reputation. During my first visit, the owner, Paul, and Jaime, one of the technicians, enthusiastically resolved an issue on my car that had previously baffled other high caliber shops in a matter of minutes at a very reasonable cost.

My husband dropped my car for thermostat check due to engine light and fan coming on. We made an appointment and was quickly have it scheduled. Before that, I went to the Mini dealer and was told it will take 3 to 4 days for the part to come in and has to be ordered first. I was frustrated with the dealer and search for a place that will help fix the trouble right away. We found Autohaus Schmid. I'm very happy with the service especially the service that we received from Josh and of course of the staff. They fixed my car on the same day that we brought it in. Overall, I will definitely come back and refer all of my friends, neighbors to go to Autohaus Schmid. Great service!Service: Engine repair

Brought in my BMW E46 that needed a lot of work - they did a great job explaining everything that was wrong, suggestions on what to prioritize budget-wise, and did a great job with the repairs. Reasonably priced and runs like new now! They were also kind enough to wash it while it was there (which it desperately needed). Thank you for your expertise & attention to detail!

Incorrectly diagnosed the problem of my car and replaced parts that didn t need to be replaced. My car also started to drive funny after sending it to the shop. Contacted them but was offered no reparations at all and was told to pay for the diagnosis and repair for the same problem again. No thanksA waste of time and money. I m sure there re a lot of other repair shops out there that are more knowledgeable and trustworthy, because the other two shops I went to both diagnosed my problem pretty quickly and correctly, with better prices too. Overall a very disappointing experience and would not return nor recommend.

Paul of Autohaus Schmidt is a honest automobile mechanic and an excellent communicator. Somewhat of a rarity in my experience with other shops and dealerships.Our 40 old SL was unable to be serviced by the local MB dealer because very few of the dealership s staff of young mechanics have the technical knowledge and experience to service a vehicle of this age.However Paul and his team understand cars. Whether you have an old car or a new car, Autohaus Schmidt can assist you. I took my brother s Volvo their this week for an much needed overhaul and overdue maintenance.This team took care of me. I took my 1965 mustang to Paul and his team. It was having overheating problems and every place I took it to no one could figure out the issue. Paul and his team were able to get the job done and now I m able to enjoy my ride!

This auto repair establishment has been around since 1975 and that tells you a lot. I had my 1994 E320 towed here from another repair shop because they told me I need a piston ring job. My friend from a Mecedes dealer recommended Autohaus Schmid.Paul, the owner pinpointed the problem and it was not because the piston rings, I appreciate their honesty and have them perform all other maintenance that my car had missed since 1994 which only had 22k miles.Paul kept me updated during the repair process and the price is far more reasonable than the dealer. What really surprised me was Paul had the car detailed to brand new condition when I picked up the car. Paul was friendly, courteous and professional. He even showed me the old roter discs and explained to me what went on; then recommended a smog testing facility which I went to the same day and was happy with that outfit too. In the past, I was constantly afraid to be taken advantage of. I don't know much about the mechanics of a car and therefore always felt helpless or the need to bring a guy with me to a shop. However, my recent experience at Autohaus Schmid has changed my thoughts on mechanic shops. The staff did a great job of making me feel comfortable. The mechanic who helped me did an amazing job at explaining what was wrong with my car and what I needed. They did not try to sell me anything extra and I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. I felt like they genuinely cared about giving me the best car service possible. It was a refreshing experience! I highly recommend Autohaus Schmid!

Best Service in townI've owned my car since it was new 8 years ago. Autohaus Schmid is just the service solution I have been looking for--they are knowledgeable and passionate about MBZ service. My car had a persistent noise issue that another local service provider couldn't successfully resolve. Autohaus Schmid took care of it and standard service in just one day. Highly recommended!

Our Audi Q7 2017 had coolant leak. Paul did check and gave us a very reasonable quote and fixed the leak within a day. We are very happy with the service.
