If you own a Prius or Toyota = Catalytic Converter theft.Morse Muffler sells, installs and has Cat shields in stock. They cover the Catalytic converter. I wish I would have installed one a long time ago. It costs 1/3 of my insurance deductible that I now have to pay. I would not be out a lot of money and time. The problem is more complicated by lack of parts. The Catalytic Converter theft issue is so severe that there is a 5-month waiting list to get a new one. Yes, it is covered but I have to wait 4-5 months just to get the part. This is warning to anyone who is on the fence about this. I waited and waited because I said, Nothing has happened in 8 years so .. Don t join out club of Cat theft.The theft happened right in front of our house. It took 2 minutes. I was yelling while trying to get out of the doors 10 seconds before they left. The Catalytic Converter was gone and bumper was also damaged.Tim is the owner. He is pictured next to the Milwaukee Sawzall. He got me in in two days. Great guy with a wealth of knowledge about prevention. There is also a Chain (in the pictures) that can be attached to Gen 3 or Gen 2 Prius for extra protection. Look at my pictures to see the Cat shield. It covers the front and the back so it would take a LOT of time to get at the Catalytic Converter.Tom is the installer who took the time to let me know about damage that mice had done to some wires under the car. These guys were amazing they were able to figure out a problem that even the dealer was not able to figure out during two different inspections Tim is honestly a wonderworker Definitely a shop to take all your cars great people also

Had the muffler off the truck so I figured it would be easier to weld. They welded it in 2 minutes and was charged 120 then I couldn't install it on the truck with no clearance. So I ask them to install it and was charged another 120. The guy felt it easier to cut the muffler to install it so I guess that's my fault. I never told them to cut it but it just made it easier for him. Then I asked why so much. I didn't need to pay so much when it only took them minutes. I just felt even if it was my mistake to have it welded the day before why would they still charge me another 120.Service: Exhaust

Absolutely great service, quality of work, reasonable price. Performed a mid muffler delete on my 21 Challenger RT Scatpack for better sounding exhaust. Took approx an hour, exhaust sounds great, more throaty. Highly recommend Morse Muffler.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

looking for a Cadillac converter for my Toyota and no dealer nationwide has it everyone said back order due to all the theft going on I went to Morse Mufflers they had a vendor that had this in stock for me got me going same day thank you I ve used this shop for a lot of reason in the past and they always show up

Last year Morse put on a steel bar covered by an aluminum shield to protect the catalytic converter in my Prius, which some jerks wound up trying to steal a few weeks ago. I noticed, since said jerks tore through the aluminum shield, but were unable to penetrate the steel bar so if you want some game changing cat protection, go here! I've had a few different car mechanics since at two separate shops marvel at the work they did and told me they were going to start recommending everyone to go to Morse to get the job done there too so that's when you know! Replacement for stolen catalytic converter. Proprietor gave me two options: 1. Cat that rarely passes Smog Check(why would anyone want this option?) 2. More expensive Cat that always passes Smog Check. Despite me choosing the 2nd option to install a catalytic converter that was guaranteed to pass, the one they installed failed and the Smog Check place told us this was not an approved cat. We went back and they apologized and said the cat model had been recalled. They replaced that with one that ultimately passed. I can't help but wonder if they took shortcuts. It was a big inconvenience to us causing a 2 week delay and 200 extra miles of driving to reset the bad cat. I also had to pay an extra $185 to cage and etch the cat. I thought that was pricey but oh well.

Good old school exhaust shop. They know their stuff. I'm a tech for a celebrity's car collection and I know another celebrity who uses this exhaust shop with confidence. They are priced competitively to other shops of their caliber and knowledge. I had 3 different weld repairs which I oversaw done for 80.00 Well worth it.

Shop reccomended to me by my neighbor. Tim, the shop owner had my car in & up on the lift within 5 minutes of opening. My catalytic converter was stolen. Although a replacement converter had to be ordered, Tim welded on a temporary repair to get me back on the road till the needed part arrives and only charged me a hundred bucks! Great service & he really knows his stuff. I highly reccomend Morse Muffler.

Tim and Tom are really good guys that know there stuff. Excellent welders. They diagnosed the problem quickly. Fixed my muffler as I waited and at a fair price. I'm a happy customer.

Morse is great I have gone to them for many years for muffler work. They put my Flowmaster on about 8 years ago. I have a Ford F-250 last week I had my catalytic converter cut off & stolen. I took my truck to them Tom did a excellent job fixing it & installing a anti theft device. Done in a hour & 1/2. I m very happy. Ron in the office is really nice & took the time to explain everything to me. They are real professionals good people & have great prices. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

A friend told me Morse is the only muffler shop in LA and I see why. Perfect experience with friendly, very experienced and skilled folks. This is probably as good as a muffler shop can get.

Awesome shop!! I an very, very sensitive about where I take my GT500. This shop was highly reccomended by several mechanics and friends of mine. These guys know their stuff and are very reasonably priced. They take the time to talk to you and explain what they are doing. I even got a free welding lesson thrown in!! I can't say enough positive things about this shop. I will definitely be taking my car back here and I live 25 miles away. Note: I had a custom GR40 racing suspension on my car that warranted some exhaust mods for fitment and clearance of the suspension system. They fabricated and welded the parts to realign my mid pipe so it could clear the torque arm. Other shops said I would need to fabricate a complete new exhaust system for 2 grand (ridiculous) or downsize my exhaust and that I was basically SOL. 200 bucks and 2 hours later (lunch time accounted for) and my car was fixed with picture perfect welds. Look no further than Morse!

I highly recommend Morse Muffler, they are honest and professional. I purchased a custom exhaust kit for my BMW M2 and there were issues from the manufacturer getting it to fit right. Great place, I called and made an appointment to get my muffler removed. The whole time I was there the guy doing the work was talking to me and explaining what he was doing as he was doing it, he answered every question I had and made me feel like I had known him a long time. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and would take any of my cars here if I needed any work done.

When you re replacing an exhaust system in a fully restored 55 year old classic car you want a business that s experienced all the challenges with installing muffler kits. Morse Muffler is the place to go. Highly recommend.

This is hands down one of the best shops in all of Los Angeles. The owners and employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and above all HONEST.If they would do more repairs than just mufflers, I would take my car here for more work. Seriously 10/5 stars, these guys are incredible.

Did amazing work, he honestly is a master of craft. Custom fabricated a y-pipe with o2s and flanges, very helpful, extremely nice humble man. Prices were very fair. All welds were done right he pieced everything together and everything was completely welded no hacks or other methods done to get u out faster he took his time to ensure it s a quality piece

My daughter and her family are on a road trip from Michigan and their exhaust broke into in the LA area. I literally prayed asking God for a good person to send them to. I was referred to Morse Muffler by another nearby auto repair shop so I called and talked to the owner Tim. Tim was seven minutes from their hotel. My son in law took the car right over, they put it on the hoist and repaired it in no time and for a great price - no upselling but just what was needed to get them back on the road. I took my 1966 Lincoln Continental to Morse and they were awesome and very personable! They even drove me back to my office while the car was getting fixed. Was done in a couple hours. I would recommend them to anyone.

Tom, "25 Years of Experience", professionally installed resonators for my Z. He did some amazing metalwork to get a stock resonator from a g37 to replace the resonator that was in my Z. Did it in amazing time too! Managed to chat up with the folks there, Ron, Tom, Rolo.. They're awesome people. Great people, I guess its a neat price, quick service. A++
