BEWARE! I would give a 0 star review if possible. Dro, the shop owner likes to rip off children. My little brother is only 18 years old, he just got his first car and license a few weeks ago. He knows nothing about cars yet. Myself and my brother went to Burbank automotive repair last Wednesday to get the transmission fluid checked since his Jetta has a sealed transmission. It turned out the fluid had a small amount of metal shavings in it which is not good. Dro told me it would cost $200 to change the fluid and filter, but that he would have to order the fluid and filter and do the service the following week. He asked for a deposit to order the supplies so I told him I would pay 50% up front which was $100. Only after we left did I notice that the receipt he gave us only stated that we left a deposit, it stated nothing about the service or total cost. Yesterday 8/2/18 I was super busy so I sent my little brother by himself to get the car serviced by Dro. When he returned he brought me the receipt and told me Dro charged him another $263.86 when he was only supposed to pay $100. Dro totally took advantage of a teenager Today I woke up upset and decided to take a really good look at both receipts. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD! It turns out Dro charged us $160 deposit! Not the $100 he was supposed to! Also he did not order or change the transmission filter as he was paid to do! The service is useless! Please see the photo's of the receipts I have attached. When I called Dro this morning all he tried to do was argue and talk above me so I told him I was going to write bad reviews and I hung up on him. Apparently he does not understand that the paying customer is in control. He keeps sending me text messages asking me to come back to the shop because he does not want us telling our story. End result -------- We reported him to the fraud department at our bank and I am posting this review here on Google. BEWARE people he seems like an honest mechanic and KNOWS how to talk!
