The guys here are fantastic. Although I wasn't able to get my car fixed they did everything to make sure I had all the information and even went as far as to put oil in my car after the diagnostic. Thank you AAMCO for your honesty and service!

I had the pleasure of working with Glenn and Neil. Both very personable, clear communicators, and patient listeners.Their reviews and accomplishments speak for themselves and I knew they would diligently work to fix my RAV4.Despite the hassle and frustration of car trouble, I let Glenn know I wanted to be his best customer.Taken back by this, he told me that often folks let their frustrations boil over and end up not being the nicest.They were clear about the time it takes to dismantle and rebuild the transmission for an AWD, the warranty, and what to expect afterwards.They texted several times in the process to keep in the loop.Pick up all was good, and they advised no long road trip for about a week as the system learns and adjusts..Unfortunately after about 200miles I heard what sounded like a metal trashcan dragging under my car. Lucky for me I was in a safe residential area. Not feeling like the vehicle could make it back to the shop safely I reached out to Glenn. He booked a tow for my car to the shop, at no cost to me. It is rare for things to break so soon after being fixed but it happens occasionally. They put my car on high priority and a few days later they had done a 2nd rebuild.Though I was calm and grateful upon pick up, Neil extended an honest apology for the hassle and reminded me they had my back to keep my safe on the road.I don't expect i will need my transmission to be worked on again anytime soon, YET I know I am in good honest hands when that time comes, whether or not it is still under warranty.

Best shop in Los Angeles! They work wonders with transmissions. They just rebuilt my Toyota Avalon and let me tell you it runs better than when I first bought it.It's never ran so good .Now you get what you pay for, all new parts and peace of mind knowing they did an excellent job.In 2021 they rebuilt my 07 Camry also a v6 which are complicated transmissions to work on and the car still runs like a champ.Glen is always professional and a stand up guy. Really had a great experience from start to finish both times . I give them 10 stars . Will definitely recommend to anyone having transmission problem on a car they can not go without.

Glen and Neil are the real deal! I took my car in a few months ago when Glen gave me an estimate for $600 less than my car had been diagnosed at he ordered the parts and fixed her up the very next day and was thorough and transparent about all costs. Last week I had some idling issues so I stopped by and Neil cleaned a part resolving the issue, at no costs!! The exact reason I ll be trusting them with my car and recommending them to anyone in Los Angeles. I feel so lucky to have found them!!

With most auto shops, I m usually on high alert for scams, but this shop literally waived all labor fees just to ensure my satisfaction after a diagnosis came up with insignificant problems. They prioritize fair business and customer well being, and can definitely be trusted!

I went there with a transmission down shifting really quickly when I was breaking on the freeway, took it to this place very happy all nice, I spent over $1,400 to fix a computer part, got it home next morning transmission fluid all over my drive way, I didn t go there with a leak but someone did something wrong over there and couldn t be honest enough to own up to it, after three more times to fix it, it hasn t been the same since, this place is a joke especially the owner telling me we are done with you and your truck. I highly recommend you avoid this place, there ok taking your money but Amcco is now franchised and I always used amcco,but I didn t know this until they told me where done don t come back

Glenn and Neil were Amazing! I had received a quote from another shop wanting to charge me around $10k to fix my transmission problem. They both thought this quote did not sound right. It took a few days to figure out what the actual problem was, and had to wait quite a few day for parts to come in, but they were able to complete my job for $6k and the car is now in great shape thanks to their team! Super pleased with AAMCO of Burbank!! Took our car in that was making noises after another mechanic said it needed new suspension and new transmission. Since the car is old, we weren t interested in investing thousands of dollars into it. Guys at AAMCO said the car is completely safe to drive, transmission is fine and sent us on our way with peace of mind and no charge for the time they spent diagnosing it. In this day, when everyone seems to be looking for ways to extract money, this was such a pleasant surprise! It is fantastic to find an honest mechanic!! Glenn is the best! He serviced my 2009 Toyota Camry that had been shaking badly I felt like the engine was about to fall out and had a knocking sound when ever I made a turn. Glenn fixed all that! Great job Glenn !

Highly Recommend AAMCO Burbank!! I m grateful I came across a shop that is reliable and honest. I had a major issue with my transmission, no one wanted to touch it or give me a quote on it & the dealership was charging $10k+. Glenn went above and beyond to help me out i gave him a call he took my info & said I ll get back once i have everything i need, i thought to myself yea right no one ever calls back He gave me a call back the next day with some numbers that was a fraction of the price. Took my Land Rover in & they were able to help me out. I m totally satisfied with their work, and it s good to know they do it all, more than just transmissions. This will be my go to shop for future needs from now on and will recommend to family and friends!

Glenn and his team helped me out tremendously and never got the feeling I was being overcharged or given misinformation. Better to go to these pros then take a chance on someone who might charge little for a mickey mouse job.

If car repair experience can be called amazing - that's the case! I had my transmission rebuild, engine mounts and catalytic converter replaced in only 3 business days.All thanks to amazing team of professionals, especially Neill and Glenn! They've done such a great job on my Ram Promaster van. Provided me with free estimate, identified and intelligibly explained what was wrong with vehicle, then during repairs I've received voice massages with updates and pictures of new parts being installed, they've also saved old parts to show me after repair was complete.Now my van runs like new, transmission shifts smooth, no engine check light and I'm ready for upcoming Smog Check. Also feels great to have a warranty on all these repairs.Thank you guys!Respectfully,Max

I rarely ever leave reviews but I found it in my heart for this place because they gave me A+ service. Glenn was very helpful and honest with the process of telling me the issue with my car after getting very expensive rates from other places telling me I needed a new transmission. Anyways, that wasn t the case! They stepped in and saved the day! They fixed it in just a day and the part came in super quick for them to start working on my vehicle. I m so GRATEFUL for Glen and his team at AAMCO! I found this shop 2 years ago when my Honda Civic s transmission gave out. Glen and his team replaced my transmission and had my car running like new within a week. Fast forward to only a few weeks ago, my transmission had a leak and gave up on me again. Initially, I thought I d had to spend on another new transmission. Again, Glen and his team came to my rescue and saved my transmission! I m forever grateful for AAMCO. As a woman, you can get quoted unfairly at car repair shops. However, Glen is one of the most honest and kindhearted mechanics I know. I needed my transmission rebuilt because it has high mileage and was howling at me. The team here did an amazing job. I worked with Glenn, who got me right in and helped me out with the price, since every dollar counts for me. My son got his first vehicle...a used truck for his 18th birthday. It is a huge Ford F-250 with quite a few miles on it.After about 6 weeks of owning the truck, it started to run rough.We decided to stop by this location since it was just a few blocks from our home in order to have it diagnosed.We were so lucky to have met Glen! He was super friendly and did a diagnosis for us immediately. He explained exactly what needed to be done with the truck and exactly how much it would cost . He was very kind and patient and asked if we wanted to proceed. We agreed.Glen had the truck done and ready for us to pick up exactly when he promised... And here's the best part ... He was so kind and did all kinds of extras for my son without charging him! That really meant so much! My son, being on a very tight budget, was so grateful. The truck is running like brand new and we are so thankful that we met Glen.We totally recommend him and are so happy to have met an honest, kind man like him.

This was my first time going to an AAMCO. My car had been making a horrible sound for months. I finally decided to bring it in. Everyone was so nice and helpful and they said strange sounds are our specialty. An hour later they diagnosed the problem and only a few hours later they had it fixed and I was on my way. AAMCO Burbank is definitely a business you can trust! I know nothing about cars and could therefore be taken advantage of easily. But I know that won t be the case here! They re not only honest, but the customer service is also so friendly and helpful! Last week, I brought my car in to get my brakes inspected, but they were kind enough to tell me that my brakes were fine and reminded me that when getting my oil changed, they ll inform me if I ever need my brakes replaced at that time. Because Of their honesty, I will definitely be coming back!Service: Brakes

I needed to rebuild the transmission on my older Volvo and I was referred to Glenn at Aamco in Burbank. That was a lucky day because not only did he know all the different ins and outs of my older Volvo, which is hard to find techs that do, but he knew where the parts originated and the extensive backstory of each year/make and model of the Volvo brand. His expert team didn t even flinch at this unique job on an older Volvo and completed it along with the timing belt and H2O pump with no problem at all. Something like this is very hard to find because most garages avoid older euro cars b/c of the complexity and difficulty to find parts and fix properly.Do not hesitate to go to Aamco Burbank. They are honest, thorough, friendly, more than reasonably priced, always available for calls and questions, and teamster local 399 friendly. Glenn is enthusiastic about what he does and has an easy-going not a problem demeanor.Services: Transmission, Tires, Engine repair, Oil change

The service here was far above AMAZING! Glen was a hero. Had my car fixed in less than 4 days and was able to get me financed. If you need your transmission rebuilt, you definitely want to bring it here. Honest and reliable!!!
