In the number of times I have visited Firestone Complete Auto Care ("FCAC"), I have been pleased and happy with the service.As of my most recent visit --the week of February 1, 2024-- I have been more pleased and content with their work and interactions than ever before.Starting with Ernesto who helped check me in. He was positive and seemed to not be worn out from his position or work, as I have encountered others at other establishments of various businesses.Next was Mark. The service manager. He had a calm, and passive demeanor. Positive to me. I did not get to speak with him too much. He was busy with things. Quite understandable by me.Lou was the person to perform the service I was here with an appointment for. He was open and receptive to me chatting with him. With the noises around, I was unclear as to what Lou shared with me. He stated either that my vehicle would be next in about 15 minutes, or that when he got my vehicle it would take about 15 minutes to complete. No matter, I was pleased with the timeframe taken to complete my service and their multi-point inspection.In conversation, I discovered this location used to be a training location for other FCAC employees that would be working at other locations. I like this idea or information because it tells me that this location should, must, and does shine. I may have to see how this locations compares to others by my own experience. But for now, I am very pleased with this one.But, I am always willing and open to updating this review should my opinion and experience change or or shift from my current position.SUGGESTIONS TO THE BUSINESS OWNER:1.) More shade for the waiting area.I have been here on more hotter days, and when than comes beating down into the wairing area, there is not mich shade to avoid it.2.) This may sound odd, and may take a little more time out of the already busy schedule of the mechanics/technicians/service people, but if that employee were to take a minute with the customer and touch upon what they are going to do on the vehicle, it could improve and establish a new level of service and interaction between business and customers.Maybe have this optional on the side of the customer to accept.Example: Lou, after receiving the paperwork for what is to be done --and the customer is present-- approaches the customer. "Hi, Mr. Alphabet. My name is Lou. I will be providing your request and approved service to your vehicle, today. Would you like me to briefly touch upon what I will be doing?"3.) I know of two other different auto service providers that used to do the following:A.) Provide small water bottles in a small fridge found in the waiting area.B.) More choices of magazines to browse through. (Personally, I enjoyed browsing the various magazine choices at the former FCAC location on South Street in Cerritos.For now, this is all that I can share in this opinion and review.I may come back if I have other ideas or thoughts to share.

Dominick was a 10/10 polite, explained all options available, tried to make everyone comfortable. The lady who helped me the next morning came off having an attitude which threw me off because my experience was totally different. But overall my experience was good and love that the team provided very cost efficient options. I didn t feel like I was being scammed.

If you are trying to get work done on a vehicle at this location do not, I REPEAT DO NOT, do an overnight drop off and expect them to check their overnight drop box. I wasted 4 hours waiting for an update on my truck which had an 8am appointment. When I called for an update I was told that I was not in their system. It was only after I gave them my phone number and them asking if I had dropped it off. Even though it was parked by their front entrance. The person who answered my call said that in the 2 years that he had worked there I was the second person to do overnight drop off and because of that they don't regularly check their drop box. There will be no change in this rating for this location because out of the firestones that I have used this was the most disappointing and infuriating experience I have ever had.

Just left Firestone. Drop my car off at 1:00 p.m. Left at 5:30 p.m. All I required was an alignment and two front wheels balanced. Now the car pulls to the left. And the steering wheel is crooked. It drove more straight before I brought it there.I should have looked at the previous reviews before taking my car there. Disappointed to say the least. Wasted my day.Amended: They also broke my Key fob and didn't mention too me. They snapped it back together missing a bunch of little pieces that make the key flip open.Slow.Incompetent.Untrustworthy.Untrained.

The worst experience I've had so far with Firestone. The engine check light of my car was on and I took it to the Firestone at Buena Park and after taking a look at my car, they identified the problem and I paid over 200 dollars to get it fixed. After only TWO days, the light was on again, I took it there again and they charged me an extra 850 dollars to fix something that they said was "related to the previous problem". I paid to get it fixed again but after driving it for two days the light came back on. I have been taking my car back and forth and today, I took my car at 10 am and dropped it off and no one called me all day to give me an update when I called at 5 pm, they said that nobody had checked on the car yet and that I would have to leave it for days so they could check it. Knowing that today is Saturday and they don't have a technician to check on the car on Sundays. I really believe that they got tired of me always coming back but I paid over 1000 dollars to get it fixed and I WILL COME BACK UNTIL THEY FIX IT. I'm also going to contact a lawyer and Firestone corporate because I feel like I'm not being taken seriously and they're just making me wait until I get tired and stop bringing my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE. Especially if you're a woman, they will try to take advantage of you.

I received the service that I expected. The wheel alignment service was good.However, I would give them more higher score if they could provided me more kind service.When I asked about what services do I need to the employee, the employee seems he doesn't want to hear what I say but the kept saying that I need to pay for package general inspection. I know it only costs $10 but I recently got a maintenance service from the dealrship so I didn't want to do that and I wanted to let him know what I know. Anyways, the reslut of wheel alignment is satisfying and I will recommend this store to my friends or family.

Hi I took in my ford explorer for an oil change and left my car to pick up. They did a check on it and mentioned that I had my 2 front tires with holes from screws to fix and my shocks needed to be changed. I ended up having the holes fixed since my car was there. I picked it up in the earlier afternoon and did not notice that they have changed my right head light with an older looking one , now my headlights look one really old and the other one from stock as it came.. I have always taken my cars to Firestone but at Tustin and have never done this. But this time I took it at Buena Park and they ripped my car off and now it has bad headlight. It is very unfortunate and mistrusting they they take advantage of woman s cars and do this to their customers. I would tell everyone to not take their cars there, they will take advantage of you .

I like their free courtesy or inexpensive car care services. Price quality is better than dealers. Great online record for all my cars. Conveniently located near my home and everywhere as I travel.

Clean and fairly quick,but I have an issue with people who just tell you what they think you want to hear instead of just being honest. I've come to this location twice and each time left with an uneasy feeling due to strange coincidences happening only after taking my car here. The 1st time it was my tire,I was told it needs to be changed along with 1 other. But their prices seemed a bit high. The moment I got in the car,I see the tire pressure light on,which is strange because it wasn't on when I brought it in. At the least they could've done is to inflate all the tires to the appropriate pressure. To compound this issue,after I took it to the nearest gas station for air,when I woke up the next morning the tire was completely flat. Odd coincidence. The 2nd time I came in for an alignment,which was very quick. I was told everything is good,given my printed read out of the test and left. It wasn't until the 2nd day after that when I noticed the print out was for a different model car than mine. So basically everything is fine,if my car was that particular model,which leaves me in the same situation. It seems that as long as you're being told what they think you want to hear it's all good,when they should be honest and tell you,"hey I don't know how to properly work the alignment equipment,the mechanic who does those will be free in another X amount of minutes,do you want to wait?" I would be more satisfied hearing that than to find out my car passed based on it being a vehicle that outweighs my car by half a ton! Bad stuff service dudes,clean it up or get a job where you don't have the responsibility of peoples lives and welfare under your control. If I had been driving while it was raining this could've been a posthumous review written from beyond the grave!

I had gone for a simple tire exchange because I blew one of my tires on the road. I ended changing a serpentine belt that was tearing down, a pump for the power steering fluid that had a small crack and a new TPMS sensor. Although I didn't expect to spend a grand on repairs, it definitely made my car run smoothly. I've been going to Firestone for roughly 6 years and the service is always great.

Got a new tire but check tire light never turned off. The Guy that i spoke to just walked away after trying to help and left me wondering if he even fixed the problem.. my tire pressure never changed from when I first got there.When he finished putting air he didnt say the service was complete or anything . Second location I go to with horrible customer service.

Be aware! They will rip you off!We came in to get an oil change for my wife's car. We explained to the manager, there was a problem from the 1st time we came in for auto service. He proceeded to tell us he would change the oil himself and do a good job!He lied and had another employee do his work! The employee never tightened the oil filter or the oil pan nut! My wife's car leaked oil all over our driveway! So we had our personal mechanic warn us from places like this!

I grew up believing Firestone was constantly a trusting co that cared about their work. Did not receive what I expected yesterday. Instead of doing their job, they're eating pizza and having music playing on their phone. Was made to feel uncomfortable. They kept loosing my keys, which seemed normal. The lady in front of me also had that happen. Took about 3 hours for them to take my car for a 15 minute oil change. No seats available so I sat on the curb in the parking lot. Absolutely the rudest people I've ever done any business with outside my own job. If this is Firestone now I won't be taking my vehicle to any other locations either. I don't have to put myself in that position again. disturbing service. I won't be complaining to anyone at this location either. I'll be complaining directly to Firestone corporate directly about this spot. I believe they should know. And if they do already then they should continue getting these types of reports. It was obvious no one here enjoys working for Firestone. I want quality people working on my car that enjoys the industry. That's not FirestoneEDIT:In response to the "Owners" reply.I already gave you all relevant info on this complaint. My biggest attraction at Firestone is the lifetime alignment service . replaced my tires here. Added one more car to lifetime alignment service. Always great service. Have had no problems here.

Brought my car in for a flat repair that was in the middle of the tread.Week later, tire pressure light came on. Took to a different Firestone closer to home and they confirmed that the patch/plug failed, which means I d need a replacement because it cannot get re-repaired, but couldn t do anything because it didn t happen at their store.Went back to Buena Park to be told that they can refund the repair ($20) and sell me a new tire ($280).So basically they took a good tire, ruined it, and now can sell me a new one ?!Complete robbery attempt

not upfront with pricinggave a 4 tire quote and 1/2 hr later changed it saying they dont have the tires. Price went up. Told them to cant afford the price and would like to go somewhere else, but they said they took all 4 tires out before getting the new tires. was promised the car to be ready by next day noon. Got call saying car will be ready by end of day even when they had the tires for a day.Not happy at all

Went in for an oil change with an appointment on what appeared to be a slow day. Cost was over hundred bucks, which is just a little under double what the smaller garage across the street charges was a necessary evil as they were extremely packed, and took three hours from drop-off to drive off.Staff at the front were polite and were gentle with upsell sales pitches.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I came here about 2 months ago for wheel alignment after their service my car wasn t going straight still going to the right, I came back to let them know and they said it was because I needed new tires, 2 moths later I get new tires and went back to get alignment today since I still have warranty, waited in the lobby for about two hours and my car is still leaning to the right as if it never got service went back and waited another hour for nothing. Wish I read the reviews before coming here, staff also isn t helpful at all. Do yourself a favor and don t come here.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

LIES LIES LIES.ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.Came in on Saturday for inspection and repair, the clerk said they were fully booked for the day and could schedule me an appointment for Sunday morning.I come Sunday morning at my scheduled time. The clerk 'vincent' 5'7" tall asian closed cropped hair said they were backed up already. He quoted me 1-1.5 hours for the inspection and if they needed to repair it could be done by early afternoon. So I decided to wait for the inspection across the street. 1.5 hours goes by nothing, I come back wait in the lobby another hour... nothing.I go up to the counter to the same guy for an update, he looks at me like he's never seen me before. He then says they haven't even started the process. Said they were backed up and unable to even start today and suggested I reschedule the whole process another day. SO I SAT THERE FOR NO REASON !?! I ask for the inconvenience will I get a discount? He says maybe, maybe not.I ask for the manager, and of course he says it's him... I call corporate, they state he is not the manager and kimberly is, which is even stated on the invoice. He then hands me off 'Ernesto'.Bottom line this place is garbage. Should have read the reviews before coming here. ZERO professionalism and basic customer skills.

Usually my favorite place to buy tires, but it looks like Firestone has gone back to their old bait and switch tactics. The manager lured me away from Costco with a price that was about the same as Costcos. But, when I arrived for the appointment they set for me the tires and the price quoted did not seem to exist. The manager, Kimberly was combative and dismissive ( though she did manage to maintain her composure).Bad experiences always leave a bad taste in your mouth.

DO NOT GO TO BUENA PARK LOCATION! I've taken all of my vehicles to Firestone for repairs for years, but yesterday I had the worst experience. I had an appointment at 11am which meant nothing, they recommended over $800 worth of services which I did NOT need. I told them NOT to change my cabin air filter because I already had it replaced, but they did anyway. When they called me to go over the $800 worth of repairs I told them what I wanted. Even though we went over the list of repairs the rep didn't mention the cabin air filter replacement charge. Sometime around 3pm, 4 hours later, a rep walked up to me and asked me what kind of vehicle did I have. Turns out my car was ready but no one said anything. I got on the road and noticed my oil percentage read 50%!?. I just got a oil change, so I knew that had to be wrong. I got off the freeway and went back to Firestone, they didn't reset my oil change indicator. I have to find another facility...period.UPDATE:One of the recommended services Firesone tried to sale me was replacing my spark plugs. I went to another mechanic who ran a diagnostic test on my vehicle and said I didn't need replace them. What other services have I purchased but didn't need?!?Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Wheel alignment, Brake service & repair, Oil change

End result was good at good price. Got 2 tires on a FWD car and new one were put on rear wheels. Complained about it and they claim it is company policy to do so and denied that I told them to put new ones in the front. Wasted extra 30 minutes until they relocate them. Black gentle man does his job, but could use a lot more welcoming skills like smiling a bit and saying Hi or I'll be with you shortly. While on phone, he never pays attention to anyone else. I felt neglected and not welcome, I almost walked out on the first visit.Maria: Comments like yours is no more than to make it sound like you or someone is working to resolve issue. All my experience is written out in enough detail. Listen carefully, smile a bit more and greet better. Location is obviously given. What else are you asking in email? If you would make change, talk to or train staff. Don't try to sound like you care by words.

I live in Washington state. I went to LA Palma CA to pick up my deceased uncle's car. Battery was dead. Went to this Firestone and advised them I was driving to Seattle, and the battery had to he jump started. Firestone inspected and my receipt read battery was fine and they put air in tires. I had to jump start car at Firestone and confirmed with them battery was OK. Then noticed tires looked low, they were all under 20 lbs. Used a jump box to start car all the way to Sacramento. Jump start car to Salem where battery completely gave out. AAA came out and said battery had dead cell. Bought battery at Les Schwab and they verified. What if my daughter had to deal with this?

Dropped off the car for a single tire replacement at 8:30 in the morning. No one was waiting in the lobby and was told that the car would be finished around 11 same day. Dropped off the vehicle went to work. Stopped by around 12 to pickup the vehicle and they haven t even started and have a bunch of people waiting in the lobby.Now I have to wait another 45 minutes for them to actually start the work on replacing my tire.Staff is friendly but really need to work out their work order schedule. Horrible.

The techs there were honest and friendly. They checked my car thoroughly even though I came to patch one tire. Funny thing though about the experience. I told them specifically on the phone and in person to patch the rear RIGHT tire. But when I called to ensure the work was done, they said they fixed the rear LEFT tire. Turns out they did fix the correct tire so all worked out well. I would still recommend them. ;)

I went here to get an oil change and tire rotation. My original schedule was at 3:30pm they started on my car around 4:45pm it finished at 5:45 pm. Once, I was about to pay firestone mechanics, broke 6 lug nuts, and one of my lock lug nuts broke. They didn't charge me for the oil change only tire rotation for $9.99Today August 2nd 2023 I went to get an oil change they told me I had a nail on two tires to fix it cost $20 each tire I said no went to my mechanic told him to rotate my tires to check if there's a nail I watched them take the tire off and no nail firestonecompleteautocare are liars

Took over 3 hours for two tires .... tires were not scrubbed clean and alignment done on front left us with a lot of black rubber marks all over wheels..... and they tried the upcharge when we finally got to leave !!!! Place is garbage and they know it.
