Had an appointment for Smog Check. The owner or manager, Jim, believe was very personable and my wait didn't seem like a wait due to our chatting. They were fast and efficient

We are on a trip with a sprinter van we have just purchased when there was a vibration noise. We took it to valley and they checked and said it was normal noise coming from one of the components in the engine. Jim even checked the condition of the belts and pulleys. He wouldn't take any money even though I offered since the peace of mind he gave me was worth a lot. Would highly recommend valley automotive

These guys are honest, polite and very reasonable. I take all my cars here for big and small jobs, smog or anything and have only great experiences.Still very happy with this crew.

I went to this business to inquire information about a smog check. Waited outside by the door doe around five minutes as the guy working in the office helped someone before me .when he got back he clearly saw me then went to his front office desk and sat there for a min or two so I asked do you guys do smog checks? He said yes I asked how much is a smog check he said eighty nine dollars and some change or something I asked is that the going rate around town and he looked at me in a very rude manner and said I don t know so I said ok thanks and left. It was a very odd experience and I felt very uncomfortable to be speaking with him or on fhat property so I left . Anyways maybe it is just me but I had a bad experience there just talking to him I am very glad I saw these colors before I asked him to do a smog check on my vehicle

They were very nice helping out my wife with a dead battery while I was in the hospital. The problem is that the very expensive battery they installed had been sitting around for 5 years and only lasted 18 months before needing a replacement.

We were staying nearby and needed some service on our 32' motorhome.....Oil, filter, etc. and a repair of the sway bar mount.Jim gave me an estimate and when finished and ready to roll the actual bill was over $60 less! I've been to a bunch of mechanics over 43+ years of driving and that's never happened.Finding a good, honest repair shop while on the road (from Florida) just isn't expected these days.Drivers in the Buellton area are lucky you have a place like this. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Called ahead about a broken mirror, showed up and was told they needed to do some research. Didn't hear back from them so I went to their competitor. After a week went by I finally got a call back. By then the other place did their research, ordered the part, the part showed up and they installed it in less than the time Valley took to call me back after doing "research".
