Last minute stop on a roadtrip. We called at 10pm with a check in time around 1am - office staff was happy to accommodate despite the late hour. The room was spacious but a little outdated, to say the least. The shag carpet on the floor in a place the sees snow (and a number of other things for that matter) was the only real red flag - which honestly isn t a big deal at all.Otherwise, everything was super cozy and worked perfectly. We didn t use the shower, but nothing stood out as unclean or broken.Overall, it s a perfectly fine place to rest your head. By no means is it fancy, but it s a cute little time capsule. Wouldn t hesitate to book again if needed.

I'm so glad that a Snow storm made us stop at the Ruby Inn. We felt so Welcome from the very start. Rooms are clean and Everything you could use. The towels were folded in Swans and the toilet paper was folded nicely. I left an important item there and they are mailing it back to me. If I had a reason to be in the area again I would Love to stay there.

My family and I were traveling back from visiting family. We hit a pothole in town that resulted in a puncture in the sidewall of the tire. We were forced to spend the night and Steve the owner went above and beyond. The spare wasn t holding air and he figured it out. He repaired it for us and ended up mounting the tire for us. He saved us a ton of money that we would have spent on a tow truck. He also made sure we found a place for breakfast and wanted us to call him when we made it home safely. I have never encountered an owner who cared as much as him! The place was also very clean. Thank you Steve!

My stay was nice in Bridgeport. The room was overpriced not even offering food in the morning. I paid over 180 for two beds. The room was clean and they had comfortable pillows! It was really nice to stop driving and sleep. I They had a microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot with bean grinder. If you stay in the winter the only place open for any kind of food is the Shell station and it s very very expensive. If I came back I would stay somewhere else that was cheaper.

Made reservations months ago and mentioned we were traveling for our anniversary. When I went to check in, Mary wished me a happy anniversary! This right there, tells you about this place. You walk in, and you re family. SO clean!! Comfortable beds. Even had a towel folded like a swan.. sweet little touches. Mary shared a great map with us, and informed us of roads that were still closed due to the incredible amount of snow they had this year. Can t wait to see some of the areas she mentioned! This isn t a chain hotel and you ll be glad it isn t! We would absolutely stay here again!

The people that own this place are really warm and inviting. We have stayed her a few times and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean, fridge works, AC/Heat works well. Beds are soft and comfortable. Rooms are spacious as well. Quick and easy check-in. Location is perfect, parking lot is good size and is in walking distance of local restaurants and stores.

They allow pets and the office lady was so nice to us. We came in very very late in the morning 2:30am and she saved a room for us. The rooms was exceptionally clean. I will for sure be staying here again. We go off roading about 5 to 8 times a year and this will for sure be my go to spot when I m in town. It was affordable and all around just very well kept. The landscape is nice. Wow. Great job!

Wonderful comfy place. Wonderful, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff. Rooms are very quiet and clean. There's ice available ( just don't fill up your coolers is all they ask here) and vending machines. Great rates and honestly I don't think I have slept better in months. Very dog friendly at Ruby Inn and they even have a pretty good size grassy area for our furry friends to check out all the scents in free roam! I would highly recommend staying at this place if there's available lodging. 10/10

Curmudgeonly owner, hates his life and job and let us know about it . He jumped from behind a wall while I attempted to serve myself some morning coffee, and ordered Get Back!" as if I were some sort of animal Shockingly unprofessional service in every encounter with him. Cannot believe my experience and feel worried for any female staff or family members on the premises. Can I give a negative score?? Terrible.

Loved my stay at the Ruby Inn in Bridgeport. A real throwback to Americana circa 50s and 60s of last century. Quite a refreshing change from the soulless motel chains we see these days (e.g., Motel 6, La Quinta, Holiday Inn, ... and on and on). The room had a certain "motel smell" which I love and associate with the motels I stayed in with my parents in my childhood. There was a sense of adventure... The motel has a hot tub which I saw other guests using. It looked inviting. Mary and Steve, the owners, were very friendly. As I understood it later, they stay up until late in the evening and then sleep late the next morning -- at the motel. The motel has been in the family for 40 or 50 years. Ruby was the grandmother of Mary (or Steve?). Don't miss it if you are passing through! BTW, check out the ghost town of Bodie nearby. Well worth a visit.

So peaceful and quaint.Love this place!! Extremely clean. Retro 90s furniture in excellent condition. AC, heater, fridge that goes up to about mid thigh so big enough to be useful!!! Mary who owns and runs the place is the sweetest woman I have met in years!!! Laundry is 10 minute drive away and driers dry clothes FAST. I feel so comfortable here. Coming back!!!!

This simple motel is clean, quiet, secure, and the room has all the amenities one needs including, table, chairs, fridge, morning coffee. We stayed on our way to AZ for one night and liked it and the locale that we stayed two nights on the way back. In the morning we walked to the hot springs (drove the previous time so we knew where they were) and in the afternoon took a drive to the nearby and spectacular twin lakes.

A nice clean motel with decent facilities in Bridge port. The place is run by a family and they were really good to talk to. They accommodated our request to provide extra comforter and blanket. The breakfast place is well decorated for outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you are stopping in Bridgeport. The town itself is beautiful and peaceful.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Comfy space and had all the required amenities. Rooms had the usual 'old smoke' smell, but you didn't notice it after the first few minutes. Overall, cute and quaint! I'd stay here again if I came back to the area.

Love this little gem. The room is quite spacious and well stocked, perfect with a microwave and mini fridge. Lovely outdoor space to sit and relax with morning coffee. The continental breakfast was great to start the day. The owner is also very pleasant.

The room was quiet, very basic and comfortable. The bathroom was very outdated. The grout was cracked and moldy, the drain was very slow in shower and sink, the toilet ran. The bathroom could use a complete remodel. No breakfast served. It was fine for a night or two, but nothing spectacular.

This is the nicest place we stayed during our trip to Utah. The hostess was warm on the phone (I reserved directly) and remembered my name when we arrived. Every small detail was taken care of. The room was immaculate. The in-room coffee maker had a grinder in it for fresh ground coffee. There s a great outdoor space for socializing and grassy area for dogs. Snacks are available in the office but with COVID, unfortunately, no breakfast. The best thing of all was . . .glass glasses and ceramic mugs!! Hallelujah!! We ll be back as we often find ourselves on 395.

This was a very nice motel! You can tell they care about the buildings and rooms and pay attention to comfort details. They are eco friendly by having real cups instead of plastic. They include a coffee maker that grinds beans for fresh coffee, and a nice size fridge and microwave which was an unexpected surprise. The tv was updated and a smart tv which was nice. They even take care to add little finishing touches like cute folded towels! The staff was all very friendly too. The owner/manager even called us in the morning to alert us of chain restrictions. Definitely recommend staying here and would again!

A nice little motel with homely if a little dated interior. All in all it was a nice little motel in the Eastern Sierra's, they don't have to try hard to be the best but they still do. Check in is nice, always good to have a chat with the family that runs the place every time I stay there, the outside has a tiny pool/big hot tub, place for a grill and seating. The room itself is a little dated but perfectly usable with ok bed and sheets, an effective if noisy air conditioner and older style bathroom. The toiletries were high quality too. If you have to stop in Bridgeport I recommend this place.

Special inn in special area. Second time staying here but this time with dog. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail of this establishment makes the stay all the better. Special location with dedicated dog area, coffee maker with grinder, family owned and run, wifi, and cleanliness all combine to make this a place to stop. Great job Ruby Inn.

This is a true Gem, tucked away behind the Sierra's! Immaculately clean, friendly and welcoming service, that carries that small town cozy delight with total comfort. Love the cute little details, especially the bow with the tissue dispenser, and the duck towel art! Super glad to stay here! Microwave and fridge in the room is a great convenience, and the large Samsung TV with ample DirectTV channels to choose from provided great entertainment at the end of a long road trip. A high recommend!
