Great place, good view to watch the boats come and go. It does get a bit breezy out here, during the day so be prepared. Fair prices. You may have to go inside at first to get a waiter attention or someone for menu. Waitress was super nice and efficient. Definitely a place to check out! Also it may get loud with a train passing by here and there.Parking: A decent amount you can pack on the side if it's packed at the front.

We rode to orwood today for lunch. 13 of us decended on them and they handled the group handily. We had a great staff serving us. Service was good food great. It's a great place to hang out nice people and facilities. You can hang out inside, outside or in the bar. I had the ceviche tostada. It came with rice and beans. It was excellent. A very dynamic menu lots of great food from pastrami sandwiches to chicken wraps to ceviche. All well prepared

For a long time this was the unknown gem of the delta but that secret got out years ago. I ve stored my boat here for a long time and although it s expensive, the storage area is very secure, dry and plenty large enough for even the big wake boats. The launch ramp is the best in the area and it s just a quick channel run down to Discovery Bay and to smooth Delta water. There is usually plenty of parking unless it s a busy summer weekend and the restaurant and bar always seem busy. Plus, the food, drink and service are first class.I wish this place was still unknown but since it s not, don t miss it.

Very nice Love the atmosphere. If you Love boating and the water this is the place to go. I ordered sourdough bacon cheese Burger. A Pepsi and unfortunately it never got to my table. That is fine I didn't need it. Trust.. Everyone was great very Friendly. My waitress was very nice asked if I wanted the Pepsi to go at no charge and I no Thank you I really didn't need it.. no worries.. I will return.

May 2022: Angel was a fantastic server AND Ceviche tacos and Juicy Burger were amazing!UPDATE Later Mar 2022: Fish Tacos (mama and the kiddos also split an order) & Sourdough burger again! Sat on front sidewalk overlooking the water. Some mild traffic but very nice ambiance...perhaps even more than sitting on the patio! Great service! Kids even tried a milkshake this time!__________________________________________Earlier Mar 2022: Fish Tacos & Sourdough burger again for the win. Sat on the patio along the wall, facing the plastic/water. Was told 25-30 min wait to sit outside on this Sun afternoon around 2:45pm -- ended up being beyond that, but they asked for a number to text when ready. When ready, we were placed along the wall as if sitting at a bar, ha. But was fine all-in-all.Hostess was apparently busy and not very friendly/barely even looked at us much less smiles (almost adjusted to -1 ), but the server was very attentive and she was very friendly even though she appeared to be quite busy. Perhaps they don't tip-share here... __________________________________________Feb 2022:We did come back for my 40th birthday and again today to get those fish tacos! Back to normal service...wish I could give the 5th star but between not answering the phones for us to see if the hours on Google are correct and a few of our less-than-stellar visits, I have to stay at 4 stars. BUT I can recommend others come visit again!_______________________________________________Came in Oct 2020 and got fish tacos...LOVED the fish tacos!!! 5 stars for service, food, & ambiance!Fast-forward to #Maythe4th and #TeacherAppreciationDay and I chose to bring my family here to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day -- I wanted fish tacos again!But, there was a sign telling us they re-open at 6:15 and it was almost 6:45. One older sign said Winter Hours meant closed at 3 on a Tuesday, but 5/4 is not winter so I checked Google and their website...they should've been open according to those 2 sources.So we knocked, just to see what's up... And a dude and this lady both crossed their neck with their hands...assuming that means closed. So my hubs knocked again to ask when they would reopen and the lady ignored it and just kept cleaning behind this thing. Meanwhile, others were coming to eat and we had to share with them what we didn't really know... Was very awkward and the opposite of celebratory...but the lady sure wasn't going to open and tell us anything. So we got fish tacos elsewhere... actually at Wence House, and the fish tacos we're delicious!2.5-3 stars this "visit", but averaged with 5 stars the 1st visit...plus rounded up because these 2 perhaps just had a hard day = 4 stars.Returning? Hmmm ...not sure now...

I ordered a chicken taco with a fried shell (I believe it is the Okie Light taco). It was really good. When it came out I was thinking that it was so huge and that I would never eat it all. Well, I fooled myself, because it was so good and I couldn't stop eating it. Everything here is really tasty.

Nice breakfast with a beautiful view in the morning. What's great in this place is that u will happy people launching their boats, Locals meeting there, so all happy vibes.

Launched 2 jetskis here. 15$ to launch, self pay, quite convenient. Not far to far water. Parking for trailer is a bit of a walk back to the dock but not terrible. No cleats close to the launch so fetching skis was a bit of a walk. Overall a great place to launch. Didn't go to restaurant.

Used to camp at Orwood in the 60's with my parents. In the early 70's they bought a mobile home in the park, space #10. A lot of growing up done there in the summers, my first job was cleaning outhouses and the main shower house by the beach, picking up trash cans, launching boats. Summers in the 60's 70's just like in the movies, sun tanned and cute girls, many many many many memories from Orwood. Joe and Clara Ball, Tom and Alma Moyer all good people, was a great place to vacation at and grow up. Lived in the bay area but summers were pretty much all bout Orwood. Tom's second wife (Lupe) after Alma past is where Orwood got its reputation for awesome food !! Still good but not Lupe good.

Great Resort ResterauntOMG the BEST BURGERS AND FRIES ONION RINGSOLD FASHION MILKSHAKES THEY serve the tin flask with the extra shake plus Milkshake tall glass. Very good. Sides of flask ice up wonderful experiences for children. The lighting is well lit for parking and launch ramp. Handicap no problem many spaces in rear. Only one Handicap in front of resterauntThis is the place to go Wednesday night for Music and line dance with hay bales and every thing nice setting for a Great Country Western Dance. Great experience for your children of growing family I seen many there.The Food is the best!I cannot tell you enough how well this facility is maintained. Store if you forgot something for your day out boating or your outing for the day Great Store for great selection of items you may have forgot at home lol.Snacks cold drinksBoat gas dockNow you can see why I like Orwood a lot.I have personally used this Resort since 1990 and seen nothing but good things happen here and grow.

So, they forgot about us ! 52 minutes for 1 pancake and a side of bacon .! We watched people come in, order, eat and leave !!! When I inquired about it, it was someone else s fault, must have messed up the ticket or something! No apology, didn t care! And charged us $46 without saying a word The picture below is the food that took 52 minutes and $46, without so much as a word of sympathy!!!! What happened to Orwood???? I would have paid $100 for real customer service .!!!

Blue Star Heating & Air Conditioning was down the road doing an install and we decided to order from Orwoods and we are not disappointed. Great food and great service and more.

Fun water side restaurant! Great place to launch our boat. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, but the service was lacking. The front of house staff was bubbly in personable, but there seemed to be a problem with the kitchen because our food took almost an hour to get out to us.Parking: Great parking/docking for boats!

My God we went there for breakfast and I had my best breakfast burrito ever and the bacon was WOW I loved every bite! Can't wait to go back!!!Oh and the staff was awesome too!!!

I enjoyed driving and looking around people riding boats. I ate coconut shrimp dinner and nacho burger. It was delicious and good price. Someday I will ride a boat. =)

Resort? For alcoholics and aggressive power boaters. 5 stars for that. Left that behind tho, darn. Not any place for an RVr that doesn't know the ropes.There is an old volleyball net, and the wifi is pretty good with few other campers around, but I was lucky to find somebody with the password since they don't often answer the phone. Pool? Or even a pool table? Activities? Laundry? Clubhouse? Weight room? Shuffle board?? We just came from a Park (not Resort) with all that for lots cheaper. The Bar (emphasis Bar) and Grill makes a reviewer wait for hours on Father's Day? The boatramp is extra.Like taking the wrong exit in Lost Wages. A sea of drunk Mommies. Maybe an improvement for their FASD-lipped kids?No signage for RV park. Locked gate. No way to drive any trailer to the check in (crazy-small dead-end parking lot). Don't expect to get to your site - reviewer says the Sheriff puts his friends where he likes, when he likes.Had a 30 AMP adapter, but they had an old style plug and don't have any adapters at the teeny store. Had to drive back in to town to get another $40 part, and I was LUCKY to find it. Sites could be easily leveled. Can't use my own washing machine since there is no dump at the site. Neighbor dumped the gray (I hope it was just the gray) tank on the ground. I waited to dump my trailer then paid $25 for the privilege, blocking in parked cars.Orwood Ripoff. Not Resort. Store clerk was nice, and apologetic, but the dear woman doesn't get it. I guess it seems normal and "buyer beware fair" to them.Kid-friendliness: If you want your kids to grow up tough, I guess you'd love it.

While visiting the area from NW Indiana, we enjoyed breakfast at Orwood Resort, which reminded me of a little beach bar in Cocoa Beach, Florida! The cinnamon -raisin french toast was delicious...and the prices were on par. Loved sitting outside enjoying the spring morning. Our server wasn't too attentive, but the bus boy kept on top of things and was always on hand for extra napkins, coffee refills, etc. We would like to go back for lunch or dinner! Definitely recommend!Kid-friendliness: Orwood Resort was ready for the kiddos with crayons and the coloring sheet/menu on the table. Great kid-friendly meal selection.

Could use a couple of vegetarian options, but there's plenty to choose from. This is the kind of awesome spot you'll return to several times. Friendly, personable service, but it's the view and the show at the boat ramp that keeps us coming back. Don't miss the full bar, try the breakfast shot, if that's your thing, you'll not be disappointed. The Hangover cure, if you like chorizo, yolkie taco, breakfast burrito, and omelettes, are all good.

Freaking LOVE this place. They have a bomb French dip and good shakes!! We come for Singo and have sooo much fun. Gives that small town vibe with a comfortable accept all style atmosphere! Obsessed!
