Quick, knowledgeable, and fair. What else could you ask for in a mechanics shop.A week away from driving to Arizona and the owner worked with me as to what could wait and what could not.Haven't left for AZ yet, but I feel confident that my car and I will make it safely.Thanks Jax/Jack.

Found them on Google and tried them out today for oil change, and I think I will definitely come back for other services in the future. Carlos was very friendly and just a kind hearted soul, he answered all my questions I had about my car and explained thoroughly so that I can understand in plain language. I didn t see any unnecessary up charges during my visit, was in and out in less than an hour. Highly recommendable for locals who don t know too much about cars, they re honest and professional!

I highly recommend this as an option for those looking.To find a very knowledgeable auto repair location. The owner Is very thorough and knowledgeable. I have a Volkswagen, and he took the time to go over. Some very important service information with me that I was completely unaware of.I will be using him for my auto service need

Check engine light out!!! I came here because I had check engine light for evap code ...mostly smog related stuff. It wasn't cheap, but parts costs money and so does skilled labor. Ultimately. Just so happy my car is fixed....thank you very much.

I needed to get an alternator replaced in my car, and AAA recommended Jax Auto, so I decided to give it a try. The people there were very helpful. They helped me source a reasonably priced alternator, which I had to go purchase myself to save $$$, and I just paid for the labor. They completed the work in a short amount of time. I definitely would go there again.

My family has been going to Jax s Auto for over 20 years, and we have never, ever been disappointed. Jack and his crew are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. The prices are extremely reasonable, and they never try to perform unnecessary work. On top of all of this, we are always satisfied with the work done. Asked oil change and it did costs $120 with checking service I did not request. If you do not care the price, it might be good for you. Not for me. No next time.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Some back story, I was in Las Vegas and was about to head home to Orange County on a Monday morning when my car wouldn t start. Made the usual clicking noise but wouldn t crank, which led me to believe it s the battery. However, I had purchased a battery from AAA not too long ago, it would still be under warranty. I got a jump on my car, drove back to OC to let the battery charge over the four hour drive, and then I would deal with it when I got home.Called AAA, they said they couldn t get a mobile technician out to my house, but referred us to three local mechanics who would do the swap for us. Chose the closest one, which was Jax, and little did I know, I was in for major headaches. I showed them all the proper paperwork, including my AAA invoice which stated a 36 month limited warranty, and the manager in the office said they needed to run a few tests to make sure the battery wasn t bad.Before even popping the hood, the manager already was saying there s no way the battery was bad, it was only two years old . He then proceeded to tell me that there might be something wrong with the alternator or the charging unit ? Already immediate red flags, he hadn t even popped the hood yet at this point. They proceeded to charge the battery for an hour, to which obviously it started up after that point. He would then make claims that the alternator was bad and we would need to get it replaced, and quoted us for a ridiculous amount. I told him there was no way it s the alternator, because we wouldn t have been able to drive 4 hours from Las Vegas on just the car battery alone. I told him no thanks, and tried the other two shops referred by AAA.The battery was inspected by BOTH of the other AAA referred mechanics, to which they both told me the same thing, the battery was defective. It was swapped out under warranty and I was in and out of the other HONEST mechanic s shop in less than thirty minutes. Please go ANYWHERE else. This place tries to pull the wool over your eyes rather than just do honest work.

I've had all my family cars worked on at Jax Auto Repair over the last 20 year's, and I wouldn't take my vehicle's anywhere else. This place is Great, always friendly and Knowledgeable. They work fast but do it right. Honest and fair. I've been taking my cars here for a few years now when i need to...mostly the wife's car since I work 24/7 i don't really have the time to maintenance it often. When she says (babe) my car is sick... I already know it's something major.

I've gone to them a couple times for oil changes, as a closer back up to my typical mechanic. I prefer places like this for oil changes rather than drive thru spots where I've had bad experiences and check engine lights go off after the change.Good solid work, no confusing offers or charges, made recommendations without pressuring.Organized and seems family run.

I have been taking all my vehicles to Jack for years. I have found Jack and his team to be honest and professional. They have done everything from a simple oil change to new engine in my work truck. His prices are fair for the quality of work you receive. He stands behind the work he does. He explains in detail what he is doing and why. I really feel he has my best interest in mind when he suggests a repair that is needed. Thanks Jack and the team for being honest and doing quality work.

When our long time mechanic retired a couple years ago we needed to find a replacement. Fortunately he suggested JAX. In them we found the same high quality workmanship and customer service that we were accustomed to with our old mechanic. It becomes harder everyday to find independent businesses like this that truly take care of their customers.

Jack and his team are the most honest professionals in their field that my wife and I have ever come across. They have been incredibly kind over the years and we have 100% confidence in their integrity and honesty. We always know we're getting the best quality of work done at the best possible price. They don't tell you what you want to hear or tell you you need unnecessary work.. They give you the facts, and then work with you to make what is necessary possible.Jack is incredibly friendly and generous, and Calvin is always full of important information and advice. We highly recommend this business to all of our friends and family and would encourage anyone else to give them a try too.

Overall I'm very happy with the service I received at Jax. They were able to fix the problem I couldn't figure out on my own with my car and in a very quick and timely manner. I was a bit bummed out that I had to spend so much, but I'm not upset with Jax, more so against GM for building such a poorly designed car. Jax was overall great and very reasonable with their prices. Thanks

I can't say enough great things about Jax Auto. Jack is one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet, and between he and Calvin, we always know we're getting expert advice on what our vehicles ACTUALLY need, and at the most reasonable prices possible. Their work is always the best quality, and the prices are always more than fair. Even more valuable is the peace of mind knowing we can absolutely trust that we're always being given honest, necessary advice and that the work being done is of the highest quality.We've been frequenting Jax for around 7 years now, and in that time we have also purchased 2 vehicles from Jack when our old ones were in need of upgrades. It was such a stress-free experience because we knew the used cars we were buying were in tip-top shape and that the price was just what we were looking for.We are so thankful we gave Jax Auto a try all those years ago and we would never go anywhere else for our automotive needs.

Our family has been working with the guys at Jax for over 20 years! Calvin and Jack are top-notch guys, they're very honest and do good work. They've always given us excellent advice over the years - so, we've been referring our friends and family to them too. They come out in the AAA guide as a highly rated service station every year...and they deserve it. Keep it up guys!

This place is FANTASTIC!I have had several experiences with Jax, ranging from oil changes to more major work on my car, as well as body repair work. Every time they have done excellent work at a fair price, and will often try to find you discounts if they can.Most importantly--they're really honest! If they tell you something needs to be fixed, it really does and vice versa--they will not try to sell you anything or try to convince you to do repair work if it is not needed.Everyone is very knowledgeable, and I have always been treated with kindness and respect by everyone whom I've interacted with. I really trust these guys!Specific examples:My car was making loud noises from my wheels and it sounded like bad wheel bearings. They test drove my car several times and told me that it was simple tire noise, not a wheel bearing. My tires would need to be replaced in 6 months, but nothing was wrong with my car. And they didn't charge me anything! Wheel bearings are expensive to replace, and I sincerely appreciated their honesty.Most recently, my "check engine" light came on, and I needed to repair this ASAP so I could pass my smog test. They worked with my car extensively to determine the problem, taking a step-wise approach to try to save money and avoid unnecessary repairs. They went above and beyond to make sure that my car would pass certification, which it did with flying colors.It's a great place to take your car!

I was referred here over 10 years ago and was impressed with the knowledge, friendliness, and honesty of Calvin. Sold that car, bought a Lexus that had dealer services for a few years. Now I'm back here and will not go anywhere else.The same people still working here, same honest approach, same friendliness. 1,000 times better than the car dealer!

I wish I could give Jax a higher rating than this. These gentleman are so polite, courteous and thorough.. I'm referring everyone I know to this place. Jack and Jesse are phenomenal. They are genuine and altruistic in nature, and it's palpable. Very grateful to I took my car here!

This place is so organized and they have a best price and they do the best job for your car and very knowledgeable and in the end invoice they give you they'd ride all the parts and labor and all the parts SKU number and everything I'm so glad I find this place...

We needed break lights replaced. We couldn't go to our usual mechanic, so we found this place.We were extremely impressed with the quick and professional service. The service was very affordable!!!! We like this place!We just might switch to them after a wonderful experience this morning.

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!I took my car here because it was AAA approved and my car was being temperamental with turning on. The only reason why I took it here was because I had a coupon and a AAA discount, otherwise I would of gone to another shop. I told them that I thought it was the battery and brought my AAA coupon (for a oil change, battery check, 40 point, ect.). Calvin did not even look at AAA discount and did not go to my car to even try and turn it on first before naming the initial price. They said the initial price (with AAA discount) was $118 without explaining what the money was for, but I was assuming they would catch something more with how my car was acting. 2-3 hours later I get a call that my battery had been really bad and that they needed to change it before they could really know what was going on, making my total to around $298...with AAA of course. At this point I even thought that would be okay because I still thought there would need to be more work. This is over double the price it would be to take it to any other shop. In fact Walmart estimated the cost to be $107.73 with free installation. Turns out my car only needed a new battery ,but neither Calvin or Jesse were willing to give me the courtesy of lowering the $118 (to the $34 discount price that I thought was being used) because it was such a simple fix (whereas other shops have been very honest and courteous) .I also talked to a friend after to find out that Jax's Auto Repair told her it would cost her $700 to fix tail lights. She ended up going to another shop and was charged $165 for her tail light repair.I am definitely never coming back here.

The Management is Great Service. They listen and give you options. Any Problems with your cars I believe they will do their Best to Help you. Stop in and chat. With Mr. Jack or Calvin.

It's nice to know there is a place you can still trust for car repairs. Nobody likes to spend money on a repair, but with these guys I know it's necessary for my families safety and to keep my car on the road. You get what you pay for, and I'm okay with that.
