Bodega Bay Inn was very nice and the man checking us in was great! We got in early and he watched our bags and he offered to change our room so we could check in sooner. There is the main Inn and then two units (31 and 32) that are just up the street with a hot tub and nice outdoor area (this is where we ended up staying). Close to town and the peninsula overlook, we would recommend :)

I've been coming to bodega for about 25 yrs and for some reason, never stayed here. That will Change Least expensive with the Best amenities Booked online for same day and as it sometimes happens, it bumped me to next day. I called to confirm same day (I've learned through the years ) and Eva took care of it Right away and fixed it. Easy and enjoyable.Candidly, I've read the lower star reviews and either the did a last minute cancel which hurts small businesses, or they're 5+ yrs old.Rooms: Perfect size-Smaller rooms- great for being out and aboutLarger rooms- great for hanging outCan bring pets Walkability: Amazing food within a few blocks

Our first stay at a pet friendly hotel and it worked out great. Our 1st floor room was very convenient for dog walking. We didn t use the common areas because there were only 2 of us plus it was raining, but I see us coming back with a group and using the picnic tables and kitchen. Friendly staff was available for questions.Nearby activities: Plenty of things to do nearby. Restaurants, beaches, dog friendly beach, and enjoying the view from Bodega Head.

The Bodega Bay Inn is a very nice place to stay. Conveniently located off HWY 1, just minutes from popular locations like Doran Beach. The layout is interesting, as it used to be an art gallery so it has several buildings and a unique feel about it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and actually fun to talk to. Tim, the recommendation for a breakfast location was great, thank you. No mimosas this time though as it was a travel day! ;-) next time! All around the property there are cute, kind of rustic, clusters of tables and chairs. Perfect to sit and relax with a glass of wine after a long day of exploring the area, or in the morning with coffee, available for free in the sun room. There you will find a nice selection of Keurig cups and several machines that are always filled and ready with coffees, teas, hot chocolate and a cozy place to sit there if you want.My room had a nice little porch that was nice to sit at with my morning coffee, taking in the fresh coastal air and feeling safe and secluded. It is pet friendly establishment and as I said before very clean. I highly recommend the Bodega Bay Inn.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Cute sitting areas around.Nearby activities: Close to Doran beachSafety: I felt very safe there.Food & drinks: Complimentary coffee, teas, ice..Noteworthy details: Quaint multiple sitting areas. Very friendly staff. Very clean and quiet.

We had a wonderful time at the Bodega bay Inn. Nice room, clean, quiet and well kept with a comfortable, king-size bed. We started our mornings there slowly with hot coffee at the Inn s spacious kitchen/sunroom, accompanied by excellent pastries, that we purchased at the pastry shop next-door. The friendly, helpful staff was a big plus. This place is definitely a keeper and we look forward to returning.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. We had to cancel our trip and did so within the timeframe per their website policy and they still kept the deposit because they decided to change their policy. Very unethical business, do not spend your money here.EDIT AFTER THEIR RESPONSE: This business has walked back the facts and changed their policy without admitting their own mistakes which means I would get the refund. I called 10/3, which is 3 days before 10/6. Simple math here I know, but 6-3=3 days. So per their stance, I am owed my refund. But doing the right thing and owning up to mistakes is hard for some. They are lying and misleading in order to steal from me. It s a lot of back tracking to justify keeping my deposit. This whole thing could have been avoided had they had the humility to admit to their own mistakes. But keeping my deposit and that cash was more important, which speaks volumes. Are these the type of people you want to give money to?Also straight up lies: I was offered no other option. They stopped communication, I was told the owner would call me and never heard from them, so had to issue a charge back which is stilll in review. And are now lying to appear better to potential customers. AVOID.

My partner and I stayed here for the first time and we both would come back in a hurry. Set aside from Hwy 1, it is quiet and peaceful. The plants surrounding the property make you feel like you re in a small rainforest. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the deck that surrounded our room were covered with Passion flower vines. The staff we encountered too were always very kind and accommodating. We cannot wait to come back!

Very pleasent stay, good location across the parking lot from Terrapin Creek Cafe! And just down the road from the oyster shacks on Westshore Road. Room very comfortable, we stayed in the ADA room #7. Nice set up with common coffee/kitchen room. Glasses. Plates, K coffee makers, microwave etc. nice way to have these items available. Very pleasent grounds with lots of places to sit away from the world. We will be back

Summer Road Trip to the Redwoods and coastal drive. The best kept secret is the Bodega Bay Inn. We requested a handicap accessible room. Our accommodations were perfect. Clean and spacious. Would recommend to any and all weary travelers. Thank you Bodega Bay Inn.Noteworthy details: Late check-in. The hostess was kind, helpful and friendly.

A luxurious experience. Our room had a panoramic view with a bay of windows to view the sunset. A Michelin award winning restaurant next door. The hospitality was stellar. The best hotel room! We felt like we were in caring hands and enjoyed our stay very much. I would definitely recommend staying here. I would like to try the Library room with hot tub next. Thank you for your attentiveness and the lovely upgrade.

What a pleasant experience we had staying at the Bodega Bay Inn. Our room was very quiet, fresh and clean. After a long day driving the king size bed was heaven (I plan to buy the same mattress, I enjoyed it that much). The friendly and courteous owners provided some excellent tips for nearby dinning and we decided to try the crab recommended on the other side of the bay (its takeout only and just a three minute drive from the Inn). It was an awesome, like nothing I have ever had before, stellar. I would return to this charming little family run Inn in a heartbeat, it felt like home.

I felt at home from the moment I arrived! Tim & Stephanie are so thoughtful and kind. My room was spacious, clean and filled with natural light lined with windows- so cool! The bed was super comfy too. They have a cozy lounge area and kitchen where you may help yourself to coffee and tea. It's the perfect setting to relax and soak in the natural beauty of Bodega Bay!

I'm very happy with our selection to stay, at the Bodega Bay Inn. When I called called withquestions/concerns, Eva was very attentive. ThenAssisted to reserve the,Library room., which was Just off themain entrance, on ground level with private patio andJacuzzi tub. These were my,concerns of which were met.We were greeted and assisted further by Stephanie, once we arrived, who also shared with us some highlights of the area. There was wine tasting in the glass, room by Tim the owner which was delightful. Everyone were friendly including other guests! My,husband and I loved the room with the exception of couple things that can be remedied. One would be to put up a curtain or shade for bathroomWindow, a/o the light in morning was blinding. My, husband being older needed a rubber bathmat in tub to shower a/o the bottomwas very slippery. Also could use a hand rail attached to tub wall. And one next to toliet on the wall, since it is very low. These things seem small however can make a huge difference with safety.Overall we had a wonderful stay and look forward to our next visit.

I'm sorry but I felt that we must have gotten the worse room available. The furnishings were old and very worn. the rugs dirty and dingy. The window didn't have a screen so when we entered our room there were a bunch of flies flying around. The host did mange to eradicate them when we left for a while, but overall this place was overpriced and I wouldn't want to return. The bed was comfortable thank God. The kitchen downstairs had plenty of coffee for the morning. The bathroom was fine. The parking lot was dirt so you wouldn't want to roll your suitcase in that. For the money We were disappointed overall.

Such a great stay at the Bodega Bay Inn! People that work there are super friendly and accommodating. We loved our room and it was perfect with our dog. Wine tasting in the glass room with Tim was a treat. Will definitely come back!Food & drinks: Terrapin right across the parking lot was amazing! And oysters at Birds Cafe were so yum.

The Bodega Bay Inn was quaint, homey, and comfortable! Older decor and some items showed some wear and tear, but it really felt Californian. Stephanie at the front desk was very accomodating to a weary traveler who had messed up a reservation! She gave me great advice on some local eats. The price is good, and if you can get the room with the private patio, take it!
