Been broken down in bishop for days can't seem to get anyone to make another key so can't get the car fixed.... shop was nice enough to let me stay in my car next to shop till I can get a tow truck to tow me back to p town... the little things in life as simple as being able to stay in my car till I figure it out without getting yelled at and kicked out means lots. Strange town yet very nice workers here.

Incredible experience. We were in a rough spot and they took care of everything with professionalism and good humor despite the situation.Snapped a lower ball join on the tacoma near sad boulders parking area (a couple miles in to washboard dirt road). When Union showed up they determined it made more sense to fix the vehicle in place, given that getting it onto the tow truck would have caused a lot more damage. They went back into town to get tools and the part and despite it being after dark they went to work and finished the job in about 45 minutes. A garage would have charged us for a three hour mechanic job. We got so lucky and all because we were able to get ahold of Union.

Very helpful and strait forward automotive repair shop. Oil change done with minimal fuss for a fair price. Just a heads-up.. don't judge a book by it's cover.. also one of the few places open for business on a Saturday.

I picked this place because it had good reviews. The mechanic helping me was very pleasant and was able to work on changing my oil immediately, which was great because I was waiting.The place is a bit of a dump and I ended up standing around in the parking lot while I waited not realizing there was an office. It would have been nice to have been told about the waiting room.At the end of the day, good and fast service is what counts.I will come here again.Service: Oil change

I called on the day before Christmas Eve, with a horrible screeching sound coming from my car.. they looked it at it right away without an appointment and the super nice mechanic saw what was wrong within minutes of looking under the hood. He fixed my previous mechanics mistake, and I was in and out of there with a happy, quiet car within 30 minutes and a $30 bill! I was on a road trip and was so grateful for the help, especially right before Christmas! What could have been a nightmare of a situation ended up being easy, quick, stress-free and inexpensive.Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it. You guys are awesome

My car (alternator) broke driving from Reno to Southern California. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH NICE/GOOD things about the service!!! Fair price, friendly, competent. These guys are awesome. They had a full parking lot and plenty of work to do when I showed up with a major oil leak. My wife and travel trailer were in the mountains and I was stranded miles away in town. After spending the night in the autozone parking lot, and getting much attitude from AAA and they re refusal to help at all, the guys at Union Automotive really stepped up and saved the day. Good hearts, good work, and good prices, I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone! I can t thank them enough!Service: Engine repair

These guys really came through for us when my car s brakes started acting up while on an extended road trip. I had called two other shops in town to see whether they could squeeze us in that morning since we had a 6-hour drive ahead of us still, but both said they couldn t look at my car for several more days. When I called Union Auto Center, they told me to come over right away. He immediately diagnosed the issue, and we were out the door within 90 minutes with new rotors and brake pads. The cost was very reasonable, too. Awesome service!Service: Brakes

Needed a oil pressure sensor replaced as my check engine came on in Bishop. I borrowed a obd reader from Auto Zone (thanx) with the sensor code appearing. They were quick and efficient and friendly replacing it. Needed to get it done as I had a 4 hr drive back home.. If I am back up there camping and have car issues I'm going there. Could have gone to the Honda dealer but didn't. CODE GONE!!!

I wanted to borrow two very large wrenches to quickly adjust the tie rods on my 4Runner. I wasn't sure if they'd allow me, a random guy, to borrow wrenches, but I tried anyhow. Sure enough, the mechanics were totally willing to help me out for free.Thank you for your generosity! If I ever have any vehicle issues in the Bishop area, THIS is where I'm going.

Got a nail in our tire on our way up to Aspendell that was deflating pretty quickly. They were super busy but were able to get us on our way pretty quickly. Very friendly and fairly priced. Thank you everyone at Union Auto Center

Hands down one of the friendliest auto shops I've ever been to. I needed to get one of my O2 sensors changed and they went above and beyond what I hoped for. The part was really stuck in there but they got it and even explained some reasons why it could go bad and what to look out for in the future

They have done a variety of repairs for me and they have always outdone themselves. I broke the front drive shaft of my 2017 Ram 2500 diesel and they had the part in and fixed by the next day, a Saturday. While other garages were quoting me nearly double in cost and 4 days. They also did a engineR R on my 08 Chrysler 300c. Very smooth experience. Caesar is the best.

Union auto is a life saver. My car broke down and every other shop told me it would be days until they could get me in. Union auto helped me right away and even came and picked me up in town when it was over! One of the best experiences I ve had getting my car repaired

Unfortunately, me and my boyfriend caught a flat tire leaving Death Valley. Thanks to the guys at Union, a potential vacation ruining experience became just a slight hiccup. Price was more than fair and everyone was extremely kind. They even stayed open past closing time when we informed them we were on our way! One of the few times in my life I ve felt so welcomed in any business, not just an auto-shop. 5 s.

Even though it was close to closing time they took the time to search for a tire the might fit our car. Unfortunately they didn't have a tire that fit but they sent us to people who did. Thank you so much for all your help.

These guys are very reasonably priced and do good work. So far they have fixed my ram 2500 and replaced a motor in my 300c srt.
