If you like to start your day, hot or cold, you must visit this family owned coffee place.I had avocado sandwich, and a brown sugar cinnamon coffee, and my friend had a chai tea latte. What a start to our day!!!trust me, I got addicted to this place . Now i will visit this place every morning during my stay here. Visit this place if you need the best coffee to continue on your beautiful scenic drive.

We were super happy to stumble across this coffee shop on our way out of Alabama Hills. We left at 6 AM so when we drove across his place a couple of hours later, we were ready for our morning coffee. They had oatmeal as an option which is great. They also had an avocado spread on toast, as well as a fruit bowl so I was happy to see that I could get plant-based options in the middle of nowhere, I will say it wasn t the freshest but it got the job done. our options were limited. Happy to support at a local small business.

We live in mammoth and traveling down south early and didn t know of a place that opened this early. We stopped and got an ice caramel latte, 2 sandwiches and a bagel. My family loved the food and the coffee. It s very easy to find and the owner was lovely and so sweet! My family and I will be stopping by again!

I've read some of the reviews on here and shame on those who have given them a bad review. I know your entitled to your own option but it's was not even accurate. I have never once received anything form Brewed Awakening that wasn't above and beyond delicious! Every time I have stopped in their always friendly and treat everyone as family. I feel lucky to know the owners and feel grateful to have such an amazing place to go get wonderful coffee, and other specialty drinks. Plus, their choices of freshly made dessert, killer breakfast and awesome lunches to choose from as well.

Instantly the place made me feel wonderful. The aroma of sweet vanilla and cinnamon filled the place. The decor was warm, easy, relaxing and made me feel happy.I ordered the two coffees, strawberry cinnamon bund, raspberry muffin and a brownie.I left filled with joy sipping my much wanted coffee- the six shot latte.. so good!Instantly I began talking to my husband about childhood memories. This is must go visit place to anyone un the area!

If you happen to be in Big Pine CA, this is definitely the place to go. I stayed in town for a week, enjoying the magnificent cycling climbs of Owens Valley, and everyday Brewed Awakening got me going the right way! The owner and her staff are friendly and attentive and make great coffee and croissant/sandwiches. Being plant-based, I really appreciated the various options available, which were all equally good. The place opens at 5am, buzzes with activity from the get go and brings a whole new atmosphere and dimension to Big Pine.Vegetarian options: Great plant-based options include fresh fruit, vegetarian croissant/sandwich, guacamole whole wheat toast, coffees with oat milk.Dietary restrictions: Plant-based milk available, along with fresh fruits and veggie sandwiches.

I immediately felt at ease as I went into this coffee shop. They have a kid-friendly and senior-friendly atmosphere. They cater to a wide range of tastes. I ordered (2) egg bowl with bacon and veggies, a fruit bowl, (2) croissant with egg and ham, a raspberry scone, bristlecone coffee, black coffee, and a hootin chassy. I couldn't believe we only paid $31.77 for everything. This is a true Big Pine hidden gem. The decor was both amusing and brilliant. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. The fireplace is a unique feature of this location. If you park on the street, it's simple to get to. You can also phone ahead and place an order.

Great cafe and breakfast spot! We loved that this place opens early, as it was a great place to fuel up in the morning before heading off into the backcountry. We got ice lattes and breakfast sandwiches. The lattes were great, and the breakfast sandwiches filled us up--sausage, egg, croissant. If anything, I would ask if they could toast the croissant, because as it was, while warm, it was very chewy. If toasted, the sandwich would be perfection.

Hands down an amazing place for breakfast and coffee that makes your taste buds say "F yeah!" I go here every time I travel north to see my folks and hit it on my way back down south. Once I was gonna be late getting there cuz car was getting towed and they actually took my order and delivered it to the auto repair shop so I had something to eat when I finally got there. I stayed the night locally and paid the bill in the morning. That's how awesome the family is! Love this place!

It was a sight for sore eyes to see coffee in the middle of nowhere, the sign stated lattes and such, i thought yay coffee. I was wrong!! I asked for a double espresso, bar basic to make an espresso. One i was charged $6.46 and was like whatever I'm in the middle of nowhere but It was God awful! The place was nice and new decor and it looked like a cute place to hang out, but they need all the help in terms of coffee!!!! Espresso was a dark roast by the taste but definitely not calibrated or even tested recently, especially for $8 including tip. You can go to resorts and pay $4 for an espresso. This was like you went to a gas station and asked for an espresso! If I was them I would search out for a proper barista or someone that knows how to calibrate the machine properly and can give the fundamentals of how a shot should taste and be pulled. I would also recommend buying espresso beans from a proper company there are several that will ship! They do use Torino syrups which is normal for commercial places. The place however was clean and had a fun atmosphere and cute outside bench but they need help! Someone please help them with their beans!

Comfortable space to relax and get some coffee. Latte was average and breakfast plate was okay, but filling. The workers are very nice, but the woman who seems to be the owner was being unprofessionally casual while I was the only customer in the shop. Sitting near me in the dining area and yelling at the young workers behind the counter. Seems like a place locals and tourists come often. I highly value local places like this to provide a space, sustenance, and wifi. Thank you!

Cute little place. Extremely friendly, down-to-earth owners. They brew local coffee (Mt. Whitney Roasters) and clearly care about their community and customers.To-go salads and a handful of pastries are available. I got a breakfast croissant with egg, turkey and cheese. Pretty good! Food served in-house too. It s a welcoming little spot to lounge or grab and go.
