Clean and comfortable motel.Has bbq facilities for your use.Fishermen - can freeze catch for your transport home.Very accommodating.Dog friendly as well.

A fine stay at a lovely, clean motel; friendly, helpful office clerk. It is old but the rooms have been re-furbished to modern, clean standards. It was the middle of July when I spent the night there, and the air-conditioner took awhile to cool it off. Otherwise, a great place that I'd gladly stay at again. I think the price including taxes was less than $90.

I worked part time here as a maid. The owner is caring and accommodating. The rooms we kept bleached spotless and clean. It's a trip back in time to when auto court motels like this one were small and intimate. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops from the central location. Large grassy area in front for BBQs and a gazebo. Quiet, safe and run with pride.

I stayed alone at this place of lodging in August 1995, rest acclimating adaptively, so that I could ascend to over 11,000 feet above sea level, where there was less Oxygen, and red patches of snow. I was age 27 then, almost age 28. I am now age 54, and I am now living in Tuttle, OK., U.S.A.. Since I was there, I have not returned, although I noticed the landscape, trees especially, are shorter, by the flagpole greens. This is from the drought wear between now and back then. I really did enjoy being there, I could hear the outside water irrigation and my bilateral hearing was normal then. Fresh air, calm and settled, birds and animals in their green pastures. Someday I may have to be there, and if I should be, I might need to stay 7 to 10 days if possible.If I am there, the sky must produce overshadowing, as I am the knowledge that it takes, and that alone.I am also a cartographer, a map maker.

Best home base for eastern sierra expeditions. Clean, quiet, fridge and coffee maker in every room and great wifi. Theres even a sink and bench out back to clean my fish! Friendly hospitable staff. This place is a gem.

Great little spot with excellent service. The complimentary breakfast is simple in a good way and still has lots of options. I enjoyed being close enough to town that I could walk, but far away enough to be quiet.

When you first see this place looks like a hotel you see along the highway in the 50s or 60s. However when you need a place to stay this is actually nice place the rooms have been semi updated and they're very clean and the staff is very nice, I had a pleasant stay here.

Lovely motor courtWe were overbooked at another motel, who suggested we try Bishop area; I googled Big Pine motels and found this little gem!Very nice hostess who was very accommodating!
