We caught two nails on our back tire on a Saturday. We are from out of town. Drove in on really.low tire preassure and was completely blown off by a man...not sure if owner. Couldn't even take a few seconds to look at us to answer simple question. Said he was too busy and brushed us off rudely. We quickly filled up w air at nearby gas station and rushed off to another mechanic nearby. See my review on them amd pictures below...completely different experience. We would have understood if the website mentioned appt only on Saturday something. A little empathy and common courtesy would go a long way.

Called 3 times they kept hanging up the call. Terrible business, this makes big bear look bad. They should do better or leave.

I had a run flat blow out and they weren't able to help, but still 5 stars for answering the phone on a busy day and for being kind on the phone.Best time I've ever been turned down!

Valero Gas Station. Nick will Smog your car, he's an Excellent mechanic, they fill propane tanks , and have competitive gasoline prices always !

This guy is quite amazing when it comes to having an affair with a younger woman behind his wife's back. It's pretty cool because he has to hire her brother who rips him off but he keeps him working there so he won't say anything. We'll get to the other illegal stuff he does later on maybe another . This could be quite the little short story award-winning that's for sure if I tell you more about this guy.

Nick is one of the nicest, most honest mechanics I've dealt with. Both him and Stan are a pleasure to hang out with. I came in to smog one of my trucks w/o any notice & I came out learning a little bit more about my truck. I've been working on cars for 25+ years. Limp your car to them - they'll take care of you.

## Avoid ##Nick is rude, dishonest, and unreliable. Plenty of alternatives nearby. Avoid this place.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I bring all my cars here from down the hill. He fixes them immediately and for cheap!! I always feel safe there because he has all kinds of sheriff's vehicles parked out in front. I like going to Nick for my smog because I get my car fixed and a show. When Nick bends down to insert the probe into the tailpipe, it gets my heart pumping. Nick is a looker for sure. 10/10 would recommend Nick's auto care to all the single ladies.

Nick has done smogs on every vehicle I have owned. He also diagnosed issues with my vehicle and if I ever need a second opinion I go to Nick because I know I can expect an honest answer. Hard to get work done on vehicles with him though as he is always extremely busy though.

Nick is one of the only old school mechanics left. There are other places in big bear I use to get my car worked on.. cause nick has a good waiting list.. and sometimes I do not have the time to wait. but there's a reason for that.. he cares about what he does.. and if you need something done right.. that is the reason I'll wait for him.. he will do it right.. always.. and he cares about the locals..

Nick is pretty cool, heck i would even say pretty poggers (that men's snazzy for you old boomers) he helped me with my smog check and also explained to me what i need to do to fix my car

Nick the owner is the nicest guy you could ever meet! knows what he's talking about and does everything he can so you don't have to spend a lot of money... He's a great asset to our town!! *we love you Nick

Don't judge a book by its cover, it's packed with cars because Nick will fix your vehicle to the best of his ability and will be honest about the work, which is hard to find these days.

After driving around for an hour, every place closed, we found nicks! He was also closed but he still helped me (needed two quarts of oil). Tried Napa and 7-11 and they were rude and not helpful. We drove up to Nicks with very cambered tires and the mechanic came out and the first thing he said was that he saw we had an issue but couldn t help and was very rude. We called another garage and they fixed our problem in 15 minutes. Will never go to nicks again and would definitely not recommend them.

Ok so Nick might not have the perfect personality. I can understand his frustration as people want their cars worked on now and want it to be done now. As you can see the man is backed up that must mean something.I waited 3 weeks to have him work on my truck on a Sat because that's the only time I could do it. I had him check out my windshield wiper transmission because the wipers weren't working and the motor was.Dropped it off and a hour in a half laterHe calls saying my truck was done and he fixed it. I was quoted $800.00 just to replace the transmission and not the motor from another shop down the hill.Well come to find out it was a plastic clip that came off and that was it. He saved me lots off $$$$$.So when I get all of my hoses changed quests where I'm going?That's right Nick's. He is ownest and knows what he is doing and is worth the wait.

Nick always takes good care of me. Most recently I brought in my car because my tire had a slow leak. I had taken it to my Jeep dealer twice to fix the problem and they couldn't even find the leak. But Nick did. And he fixed me right up for a more than reasonable price.

Very unhelpful. Tells you you are wasting his time with you if you have something wrong. Thought that is why we go to mechanics to help. Way better ways to handle that. My family has had luck with him years ago but apparently he has changed. Would never recommend Nick to anyone. Way better places to go where you are treated with the same respect you give them.

I shop at Nick's Auto Care at least 5 days out of the week, whether it be for gas, cigarettes, refill my propane tank, or to get my fountain drink, the store has the best tasting coka cola by far. Nick is an awesome mechanic too, there's times I'd tell Nick about a car problem and he gave me some advice on how to take care of it and of course it did the trick.

Had a tire pressures Low on the dashboard of my car. The garage say after a quick tour around the car and no real checking Not to worry, It s a captor issue . It s was finally a slow leaking. Had a flat tyre few days later!!!

Nick has a poor attitude,Yelling at me on the phone after i told him i was running late to pick up my car. I told him i was just being polite letting him know..I arrived later on that day after work.Ok the old saying goes.. If you can't say anthing nice.say nothing at all(Well that doesn't apply when Google maps is asking how your visit was at Nicks auto care) .So i just asked for my key politely..then he starts in on me again.I owe him fourty bucks for my attitude..he could clearly see i was pissed off from our encounter earlier that day.I told him i'd pay him if he actually did anything.But he just started saying get off my property dont come back.people business owners up here think they are the monopoly.i cant tell you how many small businesses I've seen come and go in the two years i have live here.i my only be one customer whom actually considered Nick a nice guy at one time.we spoke on many occasions.sure one customers compliant isn't goning to hurt his business.really i could care less if he falls flat on his ass or not as a business owner .Nick i dont care who you know, or who your friends with.its illegal automotive practice for repair shops to make up charges for something they never did i.e. "my attitude"..further more invoice all your repairs that your claiming to do.instead of saying bull like that to customers.that gives other mechanics a bad reputation.in addition if a customer wants to ask you a question.it might be because they forgot some of the previous conversation.Bryan ButcherFormer patron of two years.full time resident Big Bear.

Very rude on the phone. I called to schedule an appointment for my car because I was referred by another business. When I spoke to Nick he said that he was booked for at least a week. His tone was very unpleasant. Obviously business is so good that he doesn't need mine. I will be looking for another mechanic.

Amazing mechanic, notice all the bad reviews are from people who never even went to him, they are saying he's a bad mechanic only through a phone call, pretty silly. Ive been up here all my life, he's the ONLY mechanic in Big Bear I trust, please take my word for it.

Very rude. We asked if he could check our car and he rudely replied, "no!" and closed the door to the shop. He didn't even let us explain what the car needed. Poor attitude and horrible customer service.

Rude customer service came for a tire leak and left with no service guy said he couldn't do anything about it I'd give it negative 5 stars if optional

Just recently moved up here and after seeing some of his reviews was a little skeptical...was in and out for a smog check in about 20 minutes. Will never go to another place again. :)

I love the truck in the front. Those signs has a deeo meaning and as a lebanese Christian I m proud to see that. I was putting gas and I noticed the truck with those signs . Love it

Don't turn customers away with a tire that needed to be patched because of a screw in it.Get more help and start helping the people who need your Help!!

Nick was helpful and pleasant and did the smog test while we waited. No appointment needed.
