By Far the best mechanic shop I've ever been to! Been bringing my Toyota FJ here for a few repairs and suspension upgrades. This is my baby so I don't just let anyone work on it, let alone touch it.First time I had to get my radiator replaced, and since having David replace it it's been running perfect temps. Also had a roof rack installed here, and full front suspension upgraded here and the work and service has been excellent every time.Also had a rear upper control arm bolt hole that was wearing out and creating a bigger hole. David welded the bolt to the frame for the easiest, and cheapest fix for now. Drives nice and straight, brilliant job!If you need any work on your car in Big Bear, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else. Honest, reliable, and very fair pricing.

Two weeks ago I was in Big Bear for a work trip and while there my car started having issues as a result of a service I had performed in LA just days earlier. David, one of the owners, was so kind and helpful, verifying my suspected diagnosis and offering a very quick same-day fix that got us back down the mountain and home before work the next day. He charged me for a single part and got us on our way, on a holiday weekend to boot.I can t say enough good things about the experience I had, and how grateful and overwhelmed I was to be the recipient of David s kindness in what could have been a difficult situation. If I am ever in need of work in the area, Knight s is the first and only option.

Thank you Dave and everyone that works in this shop for the awesome customer service. It's really hard to find honest mechanic shops nowadays. Knights Automotive has gone above and beyond to provide the best service. Been here about 4 times and the EXCELLENT service has been wonderful every time. Thank you so much. after an offroading incident, my Jeep was leaking differential fluid front and rear. I went in without an appointment, and Gregg didn't bat an eye. They took me in, gave me a quote and told me they'd be done by 2 PM. I received a call at 10 AM that they were done, and at the quoted price! NO price-gouging, fast, courteous service, the reviews are REAL. I wish he was my permanent mechanic!

I've been going to Knights now for several years. David and Jaime, the owners, are stand-up people. David is a great, honest mechanic. David also knows his stuff when it comes to off-roading 4x4s. I take both of my Jeeps to Knights.

Where do I start. This shop is going to be the only shop I will be bringing my truck to. I had my truck in another shop and they charged me 300$ to fix nothing and gave me the truck back with the same problem. The owner of Knights went above and beyond to diagnose and solve my issue in a matter of 2 days. It's incredible. I was expecting to pay way more then he charged me. He showed me pics of the problem and I got my truck back in perfect running condition. He was super fair and explained the situation. (A mouse nest in my fuse block) Needless to say as a new Resident to the mountain I have found my trusted Mountain shop. I highly recommend Knights. As 16 yr Boat mechanic myself I'm very hesitant to hand my Truck to anyone but these guys showed me what they are all about. If I could give these guys 100 stars I would. My husband and I have tried several places and this is the one we recommend!! They are professional, do an amazing job, don't over charge, are not the kind to say there is extra work that needs to be done when there isn't. They have worked on all three of our vehicles and no complaints. If you want trustworthy, honest work done give them a go!! I happened on Gregg's Automotive several years ago when I first moved here, just needed an oil change without making an appointment for the next day. Gregg's got me in and out and gave me a better price than others had quoted me. Since then I've had both major and minor repairs done, always within the estimated time and cost.Service is friendly and professional, and I feel confident bringing my vehicles there. We are fortunate to have many good and reliable mechanics in this town, and Gregg's is right up there in my top picks!

Gregg s is a trustworthy and knowleadgeable shop. I trust Greg and his crew with my vehicles. When Audi wanted to charge me over $1500 to clean out my fuel injectors, Gregg s charged less than half of that, which eliminated my reoccurring engine light issue. They ve done a great job on everything we have brought in including the Audi, my old Subaru, our Toyota and my husbands Jeep. They re honest, quick and have good prices.

I highly recommend Knight's Automotive. David helped me out in that he quickly pinpointed a transmission leak I had. He was cordial, professional and more importantly, honest. I had to call him back for a follow up question and it wasn't a rushed conversation although I'm sure he was busy. Blessings to you and your business.

I took my car in last week because it was making a loud rattling noise. It turned out to be that the exhaust pipe connection was loose. The mechanic welded it for me & did my oil change for $118.00! I was prepared to spend much more, but was very pleased with the honesty & time efficient service I received! I will definitely be taking my car there from now on. I highly recommend Knights Automotive!

Ladies, this is the place to go when you need automotive service, repair, oil change or anything car related. David and his staff are a very friendly and HONEST group of people. I have to do all my car stuff alone, and it was so nice to have someone i trust working on my car. The piece of mind i had knowing i wasnt walking out of there getting less than what i paid for was awesome! I finally feel like I'm able to take my car in and have an honest discussion about what my car needs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

Love everything about this place. The new owners really have done a great job! They are very friendly and really take the time to care for your needs. Their shop is clean and inviting. After a few experiences with other auto companies, I am so happy I found someone on the mountain who I can trust.

Gregg's Automotive came through for me. I went up to Big Bear to go camping and while at the Serrano Campground, my breaks went out. They started to grind and I had to get them fixed on a Friday. I had contacted one other local shop before going to Gregg's.I went to Gregg's in the morning and told em about my breaks, something they could service, but unfortunately I had to wait a while because there were no break parts in town. I went back about 2pm in the afternoon when they said they'd have the break parts from down the mountain.They serviced my breaks in a little over an hour, very quick on a short notice. I'm glad they were able to service my vehicle quickly so I could get on with my family getaway and get to another campground. Thanks Gregg's for taking care of me and allowing me to get on with my camping trip.5 Stars for friendly staff and quick service (same day).

We were on our honeymoon and our driver s side berring went out. On a mountain and without options, we were prime pickings to be charged top dollar for the fix.Gregg charged a fair price, he got the part the same day, and put us back on the road in a few hours. It was beyond amazing!!! Then he texted us two days later to make sure our car ran well. My husband and I are tempted to make the 3 hour drive from San Diego to have Gregg s service our car from now on. They made us feel safe and went out of their way to take care of us. Great job guys!! We can not thank you enough.

More like negative 5 stars. Went in for an alignment and they messed up my transmission. It's stuck in 3rd gear and doesn't want to come out. They don't want to fix it. Telling me to go somewhere else.

I came into Big Bear to take my boys to the snow for Christmas. As soon as I arrived, my battery not charging indicator light came on. Luckily, I was only a few blocks away from Greg's automotive. Although it was 2:30 p.m. And they were closing soon, they were able to evaluate my car and fix it with in an hour and a 1/2. Greg also check my battery and told me I had made it up the mountain running just on the battery. He was able to revive my battery saving me an additional expense and saving our Mini vacation the following day. Gregg's Automotive is a great and honest business! Thank you again Gregg!

Greg s Automotive is a life saver. We had a dead battery after skiing all day at Snow Summit. We called him at 5 pm after his shop had closed.He answered the phone and drove to our location and gave us a jump start. Amazing customer service and made a perfect ending for a great day on the slopes. Thanks for the great service. Jim

Had an issue with my Jeep. The crankshaft position sensor failed and needed replacing. Knights auto did a great job at a great price. Almost $60 cheaper than the other shops I called. I will definitely be taking my vehicle here for all repairs In the future.

I have lived in Big Bear Lake for 6 years. Gregg's automotive has always helped me to maintain all three of my vehicles. They do a great job at a fair and economical price. I would highly recommend that you choose Gregg's automotive for all your auto and truck maintenance.

Gregg's helps with everything we need. They do all the service on our car and truck and even service our boat! They are always available and do great work. Straightforward, dependable, honest, no-BS auto care provided at reasonable rates. When our Volvo dealership mechanic's mistakes caused a hose to fail, Gregg and crew were able to correct the problem quickly and effectively at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

David and his wife are truly amazing people. Whether you are a local or just passing through David will take care of you and your family. My older father was at bear mountain when the ball joint of his truck broke and the front end dropped to the ground. Not only was he able to have it repaired the same day but his wife also offered to drive my father to his house a few miles away. Amazing people! Thank you.

Gregg and his crew do excellent work, but the real thing that stands out is their customer service. I refer people to him with complete confidence.We use Gregg for service, tires, tune-ups and emergencies. He is great and we are planning to always have him service our vehicles!
