Rented a boat for a day of fishing on the lake and everything was super simple and convenient. Took literally no more than 5-10 minutes from walking inside, to being on the boat and motoring out. Staff was great and informative, and the location is ideal to where it's positioned on the lake. Perfectly centered in the sweet spot between the iconic fishing locals of Big Bear lake, the observatory and the dam. Definitely will be using this marina again! Oh.... and the motor we had on our boat was by far the best maintained boat motor I've ever used on any boat I've rented from any marina on any lake I've fished. Started right up without any delay and very smooth running.

We had an amazing experience camping at Holloway's! October is a bit of a transition season as the marina begins winterizing and storing boats, but our toddler really enjoyed watching the process. The facilities and sites were clean and maintained daily. The front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly, from the moment we called to inquire about our stay until we checked out. Highly recommend!!

The staff here has been great. We previously had a reservation and had to cancel due to a death in the family. They accommodated us with ease and helped us make new reservations. It is a small campground but lots to offer, playground for the kids (and adults), apple trees, showers and bathrooms, lots of shade. The premium sites will mostly put you on the water front. If you come after schools starts you will find the campground is pretty much empty. Nice and quiet and clean.

Front counter lady was very helpful. She said they had a sight with a better view and offered it to us. Glad we took it it was an unobstructed view of the lake wich backed up to the lake. Thanks for the great stay.Nearby activities: The village was 2 miles away wich is a very short drive. Great location.

We showed up at Holloway marina and R.V. park, and lucked out to get a spot.Cindi, at the desk is an asset to the marina!!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!Thank you so much!!!

Rented a pontoon for my bachelor party weekend. Service was top notch. Literally zero issues or hiccups. Boat ran real smooth (even a little fast!) and was clean and spacious. The team was informative, gave us a good run down of the lake and where to go and they were all very friendly. Definitely booking with Holloway when I come back to Big Bear.

Quiet get out tucked in by the lake, not my 1st time visiting and won't be my last. Staff seem to be friendly and helpful facilities more than adequate RV portion nice in roomy depending on your rig also dog friendlyNearby activities: Boating, fishing, biking, hiking, restaurants along with parks.Walkability: Quite a few of the activities are within walking distance

We rented a standard pontoon boat in October. The reservation, sign in and orientation were quick and easy. The boat was comfortable and the lake was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We rented a boat so our 15 year old grandson could fish. We did two hours and that was perfect. Went at 5 PM so it was cooler and we got back before dark. This was mid July.Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking with a easy walk to the boat. I think ours was a pontoon boat with a cover. Nice in the shade. Note: no fish were harmed on this trip (but we tried).

Great fun. We, family of 4, rented a pontoon boat for about an hour and had a great time. We were there the first week of August and just walked up without a booking. It took maybe 10 minutes and we were on a boat. They explained how to drive it and where to go and not to go. We had a blast out on the lake and we all got to drive the boat for a bit. When we got back they checked us out right away, so we were done as soon as we walked off the boat and handed over the kids life vests.Would definitely recommend to anybody, no boating experience needed.

I rented a pontoon boat to take my grandsons fishing. Holloway's was fast in processing our rental and the pontoon boat operated very well. They have great customer service. My grandkids had a great time too! Ernie

This is an RV campground. Very nice. We were backed up right near the lake. Not a beach right there though. Beautiful nonetheless. No fire pits. So we're going to purchase a propane one for our next visit. They have a store. We rented a Pontoon boat. They have coin operated showers. Quarters. 1.00 will get you 12 minutes.They have a realistic Pirate ship. Waiting to bring our grandsons. Dog friendly. Playground.

Stayed here for the first time last week. We had a great time. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Love the location right on the water with the marina and boat rentals a few steps away. The marina staff was very friendly as well.I did not give 5 stars because the restrooms/showers in the campground were never cleaned throughout the busy Father's Day weekend. The sinks didn't have soap and the trash was full.Somebody finally came to clean on Monday morning.Other than that, we enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another weekend in July.See you soon.

We have been coming here for 3 years now for the pirate ship tour. Always blast! The captain is always fun and very knowledgeable about Big Bear and the surrounding area. The assistant is always lovely and very pleasant. They did change their cocktails though from real cocktails to canned drinks. But overall the kids and adults love it.

Rented a large pontoon out of Holloway on a September Saturday afternoon. Had more than enough space for the 2 of us and our two german shepherds! We had a great time zooming around the lake and also hanging out and fishing. We walked in without a reservation and the people checking us in were super nice and so fast! We had a great time and will definitely be back. Also shout out to Billy at Big Bear Sporting Goods for helping us get set up to fish- he even put a hook on our line for us noobs. :)

Easy parking, just walk towards the blue roof building. Everyone working there were very helpful and quick on their feet. The boat was very nice and clean, gas gauge and radio not working but those are 1st world problems. We forgot to grab the life jacket for kids and they so kindly ran back to get it and threw it into our boat for us. The boat ran nicely, very easy to use. Would come back to fish. And please don't drink and boat. Just be sober, wait to get home to slam a fifth of whiskey.

Very good experience. We were walk=ins ( no reservation on Saturday) and were able to secure a large standard pontoon. The price seem fair and though we initially paid for two hours, I was able to call in from the water to extend another two hours. The team in the office were very helpful., and the team on the dock were detail oriented and informative regarding the use and handling of the craft. Halloway's will be our GO-T) when visiting Big Bear Lake.

Nice and friendly staff, pet friendly, the campground was quiet and peaceful. Love the proximity to the water and to have the marina services in addition to the RV park is a plus. I docked one star from my rating because some of the sites can be quite difficult to get into and the laundry facilities were pretty dirty. I would still definitely stay here again.

Our family and friends are always looking forward to camp at Holloway s RV Park. Friendly girls at the general store were you check in are always a hoot, friendly and always helpful and fun.Jeff at the marina garage was very helpful and informative for my situation that was solved in seconds and we were happy boaters again.At the marina, staff and gas attendants are always helpful and kind.Nearby activities: Boating, small store, fishing, skiing, biking, hiking, kayaking, boat rides and rentals and lots more.Safety: Friendly staff are always around and keeping the rift raft out of the area.Walkability: All amenities are within walking distance or a short cart ride.

Great staff, and boats were clean and functional.We rented two pontoon boats for 4 hours and left the dock 1/2 hour after we arrived; we were told by the dockhand that the timer begins once we leave the dock. When I called in to confirm we were told one boat can come in 1/2 hour later but not the other because it was already booked for another party; that was a bit of a bummer as we then had to return both boats since we were a group. So, get there early to complete the check-in process before your scheduled time starts.

Great experience here! Quick easy rental process. I wish the boats were more affordable to rent, as I would rent more often, but thats just all rental prices in general not just Holloway s. Great people here.

The best ALL service marina in Big Bear Valley! Excellent quality with every single service they offer & provide. RV Park also & one of the only places in the valley which offer public waste removal from your onboard septic tank. Mechanics are spectacular! If you require some form of auto/boat mechanical repair, no worries they'll have you up & running as swiftly as can be. If you do require some form of engine/vessel/vehicle repairs, I would highly recommend you specifically want Emily to take care of your issue(s.) Emily is a top notch mechanic! She will do you right & is straight forward honest. Also, she is the first female mechanic employed in Big Bear Valley. You will not be disappointed if you do business with Holloway's Marina. Have an excellent day & ENJOY your day.
