I love family run stores like this one in Big Bear City! I'm up here with no tools and they kindly loaned me some so I could replace my battery with the new one from them. Nice folks...thanks!

Knowledgeable and friendly, and a nice selection. If they don't have it they can order it for you, and if you're a car novice like me they'll help you find everything as long as you can sorta communicate what it is that you need. Overall just a great experience from friendly people.

Really like the knowledgeable and very nice honest guys that work at this shop! I have learned to go here cuz really like I continue to tell people " I am NOT" a mechanic ! So it's nice to cut to the chase and get the info I need to make the right decisions! Thanks guys!!

Good place and close to my mountain house. Don't let the small storefront fool you. They have very good inventory so you don't have to drive down the hill.

After breaking down going up the mountain about 20 mins from the destination cabin and being towed, figured out the alternator does in my truck. They had the alternator for my 97 runner, staff was efficient and was available right away, have them a call. Went down to purchase it and replaced it in my cabin Airbnb, truck was running smoothly after using new part provided by them, definitely recommended for all your automotive needs.

Better quality parts then the other store in town .. Doug the manager can be hard to deal with but is generally helpful. Don't carry many parts in store so almost everything you buy is atleast a day wait ..

Map of Big Bear treated me like because I wasn't a commercial account I didn't warrant their time they also would not get parts for me without me paying Advance before they order Doug at CarQuest does a far superior job gets me my parts I don't have to make a special trip across town to pay for it I can go pay for the time I pick it up nice friendly service only place I go for parts in this town now

The guy behind the counter was just a really nice guy. Prices are good. Needed break fluid, which he had in stock. Like I said, super nice guy behind the counter.

Called and asked for a specific tool. Guy says yeah we have it here in stock. Drive across town to get it. Nope. They dont have it never did.

Carquest stocks only quality parts and is only a little more expensive than ordering online. On the Internet, it is almost impossible to avoid buying cheep junk.
