My Experience with AAA is usually great, but this time it was outstanding. We were stuck in Big Bear lake CA with a bad tire situation. I was thinking because it was a small town and on a Friday that it would take at least an hour for help to arrive. But instead "Patrick Gonzalez" from "A performance Towing" called me on my cell phone within 10 minutes and arrived 5 minutes later. I know this obviously is not always the case but it was impressive nonetheless. We were parked in a bad spot on the road and as soon as "Patrick" arrived he maneuvered his tow truck the same way fire fighters do to keep traffic running smoothly but also provide maximum protection to the people they are attending too. ~Maybe this is standard protocol, but to me, it demonstrated a high level of intuitive skill and experience. It was clear Patrick knew what he was doing by making safety his 1st priority. Alex was also very friendly, cordial and extremely professional. He knew exactly how to fix our problem and get us back on the road again. It was a pleasure working with him. I hope everyone that gets stuck in Big Bear is fortunate enough to have "Patrick" from "A performance Towing" come to the rescue. Exceptional customer service!

Went up to Big Bear for the weekend, and of course we started having car troubles. It happens every time we go up. Thank God it was only a battery this time. I am my own mechanic on all our vehicles. Was very skeptical on using our AAA battery service. Being away from home with no tools or second vehicle to go get parts it left me with no choice. Patrick from A Performance Towing, contacted me after my call with AAA. He was polite and courteous on the phone, and I explained to him we were at a AirBnb and that we needed to leave at a specific time. He showed up when he said he would, and knew exactly how to change our battery without guessing. I ha e not had any good experiences with tow yards and their backyard mechanics, but can completely ensure you all that these guys are professionals. Patrick is the man!Ryan

What a great group of people. These guys are incredibly knowledgeable, super responsive and really nice! It's rare you find a tow company that genuinely cares about their customers, and their vehicles - but these guys do and they go over and above too. If you need a tow company- look no further - A-Performance is the best by far!!

Wow! I have not received service this outstanding in a long time. I was stuck, pulling my pontoon boat and trailer when we lost a tire. Fortunately, no one was hurt and I was able to get a hold of Corey at A Performance, and he immediately got me a fantastic price to have the trailer and boat towed to the marina. Kevin was extremely patient while trying to get this loaded on to his truck. Everything went great! If I could give A Performance 1000 stars, I would!Service: Special vehicle towing

Towing a disabled person's car during a snowstorm then lying about police ordering the tow. In their defense it was a placard not a plate and the windshield had snow on it. Vehicle was parallel parked half on driveway/ private property half in street. Plow was able to clear no problem as he passed many times while I was parking. When the vehicle was towed, I called a few tow companies and none had my car, so I called sheriff's office to see if they had maybe towed it. Sheriff said they do not tow vehicles in snowstorms so they dispatched an officer to my house thinking it was stolen. I confirmed with local dispatch, CHP and San Bernardino Sheriff and they were certain they had no units in the area ordering vehicles towed. However when I picked up, A Performance claimed "the sheriff ordered the tow." I don't doubt this company contracts with the city however that statement was an outright lie and the cause of this review. I am cool with companies abusing city contracts (and actually applaud them profiting off of the ignorance of local municipalities) but lying about the police ordering the tow.... not cool.

Professional and spot-on communication by dispatch. David was the driver. He showed up on time and communicated well. He was very experienced, knew how to load and tie down. He was a good driver and fun to chat with for our 150 mile trek from Big Bear to San Diego. A+++++ company.

Kevin with A Performance towing was so helpful in getting my Tesla Model Y to a charging station! I was stuck in a snowstorm and had just enough charge to get me back into Big Bear after being told that the road to Redlands was closed. He was very friendly and knowledgeable in towing Tesla s! Excellent Kevin and I forgot the name of the other guy helped big time with my car. Was stuck for awhile in the snow and they came to the rescue. Now I won t die from frostbite. Would definitely recommend

I was in a tough situation with it being a Sunday and a storm rolling in. David was quick to respond and was helpful in providing a solution for me to leave my car in the lot overnight and have it towed out from that location the next day.

David responded to our AAA call for a flat tire on our truck. We were a long way from home when this occurred. David was our hero and saved the day for us. He was very friendly and super helpful. We were so lucky that he was there to assist us. Thank you David!

Had an amazing experience with A Performance Towing!!! Had set up a pick up of my vehicle from another local towing company, and they decided not to show up. Got an emergency pick-up from A-performance towing, and they were awesome. The people in the phone were kind and helpful, and we had an awesomeness conversation with our the tow truck driver, David on our way to our destination. He was very professional, and made the experience great. I would highly recommend A performance towing!

Reyes helped save the day this weekend when he went above and beyond and provided excellent service. Great Response, AAA approved provider in Big Bear. Had a major technology breakdown in my 2022 Chevy with Onstar that stopped the car from starting, no brakes, dead battery no ABS or steering. These guys stayed with my family of 4, plus 2 dogs to make sure we could get home safely. And also provided other local contacts for transportation for my family and pets!Huge thank you to A Performance for their team!Thanks again for my ride back to the OC! Tahoe is back at the dealership in Orange County.

A-Performance Towing cares a lot about their customer and are so helpful! My vehicle needed to be towed off the mountain to a collision center, due to misunderstanding the collision center could not keep my car. A-Performance was compassionate about the situation and brought my vehicle back up the mountain to its original location at no extra cost. They are a genuine and caring business, I highly recommend.

A-Performance Towing Inc. has saved me multiple times in a pinch since I moved to the Big Bear area a few years ago. Most recently I requested a tow, but my vehicle was in a spot that was very difficult to access. The driver, David, was able to help me get my vehicle to a more open location and load it onto his truck without issue. I could never have handled it without him! Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Very helpful with my flat on our Aston Martin DBS Super Leggera Coupe. The service man was on-time, diligent and considerate of the vehicle.He was patient and took his time inspecting all harness points and delivered the vehicle to our carriage house.I would highly recommend A Performance Towing to any of my club members.

Very professinal, Was told they would tow our Subaru Crosstrek at 8am Sunday morning and Matt showed up at exactly 8am Sunday morning, Big Bear to Rancho Cucamonga - If your looking for the pros on top of the mountain, look no further. A-Performance is the Answer.

I have had only positive experiences with A Performance Towing s serviceman, Matt over several years! I have appreciated his professional advice when needed and also the notice of things to be aware of in my vehicle. I have enjoyed his courteous and prompt attention to my vehicle s problems and appreciated the solutions suggested, time after time again. It is a vulnerable feeling to be stranded yet a blessing to have assurance knowing that I will always get expert service from Matt when needed!

We planned to leave Big Bear before a storm but my friend s battery was dead. Triple A never showed up for a scheduled appointment. We called several places who said they could be there in an hour. Patrick came within 5 minutes. He jumped the battery and advised on a better way to get home to avoid the storm, which we did. Thank you so much for great service.Service: Battery service

I m sure these guys get hit so hard with calls for help during epic snowstorms. I waited 2.5 hours for a tow and decided to leave my vehicle so I didn t get stuck in the snowstorm myself. I don t blame them, they were working hard to help many and I was in line. But it was dark and snowing heavily and I knew I had to get myself out of there and safe for the night while I still could.My five-star review was the fact that they did finally make it to my vehicle, they called me and scheduled a morning pick up of my keys from my rental cabin so they could tow my car to O s Tires for repair. That was above and beyond considering I had no way of getting back to my vehicle to help get it towed. I am truly grateful that when an epic storm hits Big Bear that people step up to help. My vehicle did get repaired and I will now be able to get down the mountain today, without waiting many extra days, all thanks to A Performance Towing - specifically Kevin - he was able to think outside the box and be solution oriented. He is a high-value employee and citizen. Thanks Kevin! I appreciate you!
