I bring my RAV4 to Toyota of Berkeley for maintenance. I appreciate the frequent e-mailed coupons. The service is great and I also like that the location is convenient to BART.

I had a unknown problem With my truck engine dying while driving. Martin and his team tried to figure out the problem there was a $250 diagnostic fee but when they couldn t figure out what was wrong, the charge was reduced to $125. I really appreciated that.I had asked about fixing the running lights during the intake process however, when I picked up the truck, they didn t address that.

Best car services in the Bay Area. I live in Oakley and drive all the way to Berkeley to get my car serviced. I tried other dealers but they always charge me extra unnecessarily for either service or parts. With Toyota Berkeley I get charged fairly.

When my car was new enough that the maintenance came for free via Toyota, they were sometimes polite and sometimes incredibly rude. Once the free maintenance was over and I took it in for a regularly scheduled maintenance, they told me it would be $1200. Calling around other shops I came to understand that it should ve been only in the ballpark of $100-$300. The 2021 RAV4 Hybrid is three years old and has 16,000 miles on it. Since this happened to me, I ve heard that many people hate this Berkeley Toyota Service Center and sometimes drive far away just to go to another(eg Walnut Creek). So long Toyota, Berkeley, no looking back.

I used to go to Albany location and I experienced very nad customer service then I started going to this Berkeley location and they are same. They seem to have messed up my service schedule of 10k and 5k miles. I just drove about 300 miles after 55k miles service and my car is asking for oil change already. Its frustrating. Can't trust these people. Do they really do the maintenance or they just take the car in and bring it back without doing nothing. Some of the regular maintenance are hard to know if they did or not. Not recommended. I need to find different dealer.FYI, cost of their sets of 4 tires are about $300 more than other Toyota dealer.

Expensive but good service. However, a piece of plastic underneath the car fell down and I had to ask someone to help me push it back into place.

These mexicans are cheat you for sure, if you go once there, u will be go forever, you gonna experiance every month has a problem, rottle, break, pad, engine, asking oil change after only 100mile, every little detail has some problem, it is not certified service, i think toyota should close that place, or cancel the contract

I got my 25K mileage maintenance with Martin Lee and he was such a great person to work with. I told him I needed my car done before 1pm and he got it done an hour earlier. He informed me about the repairs that got fixed when I picked up my car. I was hesitant to go to this Toyota service location but I am definitely coming back after my first wonderful experience.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

I received an SMS from the service that my car is ready to be picked up. I called to the service desk to request a shuttle and was informed the driver was busy and would call me once he was free. However, after waiting for 2 hours with no updates, I called back to get a rough estimate of the waiting time. The representative was unable to reach my manager or the driver and was told that I simply had to wait as this was a complimentary service. It sounded extremely rude.I took uber and picked up my car. My manager said that nobody informed him about my calls and there were no inquiries or messages in the system.The managers and mechanics are top-notch folks there, but after that humbling experience over the phone, I don't see myself coming back to this service again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

My girlfriend went here to fix a headlight issue. After she picked up the car and brought it home, she noticed it was still broken (they never checked - what???). She brought it back, they said they accidentally ordered the wrong bulb and told her to come back the next day. When she came to pick it up the second time, they charged her $40 for the extra work. Other businesses don t operate this way - passing the cost of their mistakes onto the customers. Save your time and money - go somewhere else

I've come by a couple times now and a gentleman named Su has helped get my paperwork done and assisted me. I really appreciate the guy, he's super on point and friendly. Both times I have brought my car here, the service was great and high quality. I have enjoyed dropping my car off and hanging out in downtown Berkeley, I think the location and quality of service received makes for a great place to get your car needs taken care of. I will certainly recommend this place and drop in when I need some work done on my car. Thanks goes out to Su and his team.
