Precision People s Car Repair is absolutely amazing! I drive a crabby , little old man of a car that the wonderful team at People s have kept going for me. They are honest, fast and genuinely great folks that even without an appointment have made time to help me out. Lumpy ( my car) and I are so grateful to have them .

I was needing to register my car but was having trouble passing smog. The shop looked full but they were still able to take my auto in. Luis was very helpfull and professional as he diagnosed the cause and notified me that I had a bad gas cap sensor and was not able to provide an accurate reading for the test. He replaced the part and the car eventually passed no problem and is back on the road. Since then I have taken meny cars to him for "surgery" berely getting there and some even towed. This guy is the "Car Doctor". I highly recommend you taking your automobile to Precision Peoples Car Repair.

I've been taking my Honda to these wonderful people for the last few years and could not be happier. They are excellent mechanics. I trust them completely to take care of the car and make sure I am safe it in. they keep me up to date on the scheduled maintenance. PP has new owners. We had great service w/ Ken the previous owner, but the new one replaced our car window, but damaged the weatherstripping portion of it. His response was that this is not their job, that this problem didn t occur when they fixed it. AND did not appropriate rectify.

I needed my fuel pump replaced. The shop was full of friendly mechanics who worked fast and efficiently. I was happy with the work that the did under the hood. However, while my car was in the shop, it sustained some strange type of body damage on the front bumper. It s almost seems as though it was melted by a piece of equipment, or as though some piping hot acid/liquid sprayed on the fender and permanently deformed the fender. When I discussed the issue with the shop, they did not provide an explanation or recourse even though I provided before and after photos (I am sure they also have photos of their own) I am disappointed that the good work that they did is occluded by the eyesore that they left on my car that I have to look at every single day.

As a woman, bringing my truck to a shop can usually be pretty intimidating. Precisions People did a great job however and I felt super comfortable asking questions. The employees are honest and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Super helpful and fair! Went in with check engine light - got a diagnostic done the next day, with repairs. Check engine light came back on two days later - they had me back in at a discount. Suggested alternatives when I couldn't afford a full repair. Awesome shop!

You said you would have the diagnostic done in an hour and you would call me and begin repairs hopefully to have them done by the end of the day. I never received a call when I called you. You still had not done the diagnostic and said there was no way I could have the car back the same day you charged me over $250 which I basically flush down the toilet because I ended up having to get the work done elsewhere where it could be done faster . I was super disappointed in how I was treated how I never received a call and how you took my money to do almost nothing.

Brought my car in for a check engine light related to my transmission. They charged me over $200 for diagnostic then said my transmission needed to be replaced for $5000 based on an issue that doesn t require a complete replacement. I respected their services until I found out they completely drained my car battery that was brand new. Now I m late to work waiting for triple AAA- thanks guys.

New owner is excellent! Amiable, and very thorough in assessment of current mechanical condition of my car, including quotes for each item needing attention!Minor problems with some of his staff though, i. e., replacement of hubcap made it impossible for me to access the tire valve stem to add air to the tire, but the owner adjusted it as soon as I brought the car back to his shop.Also, staff left a tool in my car after checking the cabin filter; also didn't put the glove compartment back after he took it out to check the filter. Above are minor oversights, just slightly unprofessional on part of staff.

I had a shade tree mechanic break bolts in a water pump that needed to be replaced. Precision went beyond all expectations and kept the repair as low as they could.Great people and great work! Would recommend to anyone!Service: Engine repair

They did excellent work on my 2011 Versa. It helped some, but I still have the moldy smell. I was told it could be coming from the carpet, which doesn t make sense. Service personnel were friendly, and helpful during the initial job. This shop was amazing today!I am 800 miles from home and had an issue with my vehicle. The mechanics were awesome!! They got me right in to diagnose the issue. Just so happen, my wheel bearings had failed on the driver side. They took good care of me, fixed the problem, and I am able to get back home tomorrow.I cannot Thank You enough!

I rarely (if ever) write reviews, but Precision People's turns what would otherwise be a tedious, annoying errand (taking my car in for service) into an absolute stress-free experience. I came the first time on a recommendation from a friend of a friend, after the Toyota Service place in downtown Berkeley told me it would be $6000 (!!!) for major repairs. Precision People's did the repairs for well less than half, and also caught some other issue that the folks at the Toyota service place did not. The people at Precision People's are thorough, helpful, friendly, and seriously knowledgeable about what they do. Plus the garage is conveniently located and charming (model planes and ships hanging from the rafters!) to boot. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I went about smog check which they don't do. They kindly recommended a service up the street. I appreciate how up front they were about their services and prices. I also needed oil change - they checked the idiot light on my car and explained it to me. Advised for this minor service I could save money at less expensive establishment. Appreciate how helpful and kind the staff were. They gave me advice in my own interest rather than pushing their own shop.
