I got a Viper alarm installed here and want to say that the guy that installed it was excellent, honest and took the time to answer all my questions and my alarm is awesome!I am knocking down a couple of stars because they underquoted me for the work on the phone. When I arrived, the first thing the installer asked me was if I was aware of the price and then went on to say that I actually need another part so it s extra $$. It seems like it was practiced and maybe a schtick that do?? Seems like the person answering the phone/making appointments often underquotes you. I gave my exact name and car so not sure why they didn t have the correct info. It definitely felt like a bait and switch. I would recommend actually going to the shop to get a quote.

They've done four cars for me over the past 9 years, upgrades such as head unit, amp, speakers, interior lighting, 3M protective film, window tint, and It's all come out looking great and held up well over time. Great selection of components, very clean/neat work, and lots of excellent professional advice along the way. They are generous with their time, basically cool, very down-to-earth people who will take care of you.

Expert work. You get what you re paying for and more. Excellent consultation to understand your needs. No attempts to up sell into over priced audio.Our VW Eurovan has never sounded so sweet!

I had a terrific experience with this place today. I called in without an appointment after unexpectedly learning that I needed some car audio help before a long vacation drive. The fellow I worked with, Juan, could not have been more gracious or accommodating. He worked me into his schedule promptly, recommended an appropriate replacement unit, installed it promptly and on time for a reasonable price, and then generously spent about 20 minutes with me before I left, showing me how to use the features of my unit. Juan was super competent, articulate and a pleasure to work with. I believe, but am not sure, that he was the owner of the business. He said they'd been open for about 7 years. What I also noticed was that their workshop was orderly and clean. Very impressive. I highly recommend this place.

Wow! I feel so fortunate to have happened on this shop. They saved me. My classic car had a 25 year old alarm system that malfunctioned and made my car undriveable. Juan was so helpful. He knew the model of alarm (even though it s ancient). His high level of competence really put me at ease. I had no doubt they knew what they were doing. He fit me in on the same day too and even helped push my car from the tow truck into the shop! I was back on the road in about 30 minutes. I couldn t believe how easy it was. He quoted and charged an extremely fair price for the work. Super friendly staff too. The shop is so clean and organized. These guys are seriously the best. I can not give them a higher recommendation. all the way.

Had these guys install my aftermarket radio, turned out great! More recently had the team help me with reinstalling my speakers back in the car, after I had to remove them to use the trunk space for a move. They are constant professionals and super friendly. Highly recommend!!

excellent professional work and customer service. i had a standard alarm installed, and they let me know about potential accessories or upgraded available but didnt try to push me into anything. i love my new alarm !!! thank you !

Running out of time to prepare a Dodge minivan for a camping trip; dear friends from abroad coming into the airport, I wanted the vehicle I'm loaning my buddies to be well outfitted, and I needed a stereo. I discovered this place just a few minutes from home, and he did the job on the spot, had exactly the plain-Jane outfit my situation required at a price which was reasonable. I was out of there in 45 minutes and had a pleasant conversation with the owner as well. There's a reason he's getting a lot of kudos for his business. He's obviously able to do a lot snazzier stuff than I required, but I feel fortunate to have found him when he was available! Check him out!

Unbelievable customer service. Amazing experience start to finish. Extremely knowledgeable very helpful. Rob is a genuinely good person. Had me up and running in no time and also took extra time to give me advice on possibly upgrading the system. Can't recommend this place enough.

I just happened to find this place and can say I am thrilled I did. I had Javier do some wiring on my led aftermarket lights and can truly say he did a Great job. Plus he's a real nice guy. I would definitely highly recommend this place to any one that needs work done to come here.

Been looking around to replace my stock stereo, checked numerous local reviews and chose to check out JG. I called, Juan answered, mentioned what I had going on & what I wanted, he told me since labor day was this weekend they're pretty booked but to stop by to check it out & get a quote. I cruised over and [I forget his name but I think it was Paul] gave me a rundown of options to work with my budget. Expecting to leave empty handed since it was late in the day and I was just there for a quote he said he had a dash kit in stock to install a new head console, Juan arrived and they were both on it and took like 20 maybe 30 minutes tops, it improved my Bluetooth experience right off the bat, S's & hi hats were way smoother and no static whatsoever. Very happy ride home & looking forward to return for upgrading my speakers & getting an amp + sub!

I can t recommend Rob and Juan enough. They are the only two people who touch my car, with good reason.Background: I own a 2006 black Infiniti. Not quite two years ago, I was thinking about selling it as the paint had a dull look with lots of scratches. And anyone who owns or who has ever owned a black automobile knows how hard it is to keep it looking clean and scratch-free. I wanted my SUV to look its best before selling to get the highest resale value. I had always taken care of it, but no one could get the paint to look good. So I did my research and decided to go with JG.After they thoroughly explained the aesthetic and protective benefits of a ceramic coat, I went ahead and purchased a package along with the replacement of my front and rear clear bras that had started to look scratched and ugly.When I came to pick up my automobile, I couldn t believe it was the same SUV. The paint literally looked (and continues to look) new. As in factory new. Actually better in my opinion.Needless to say, I decided to keep my SUV. I constantly have guys asking if I want to sell it and where I had it repainted so well. They can t believe that it is the original paint job. I still look at it and shake my head in disbelief at how good it looks.Even after a month of rain and grit sitting and drying on my car, once they wash it, it looks as if they had just applied the ceramic coating. It is so worth the investment. You will not regret doing it. In fact, you will love your automobile even more than you did when you first purchased it. I know I do.Juan and Rob continue to be the only guys I allow to wash or detail my car. They are honest, trustworthy, professional and highly skilled at what they do. Their work ethic is above reproach and their customer service deserves 10-plus stars. Additionally, they are genuinely kind and friendly. Try finding that in the Bay Area these days.Hit up Juan and Rob with confidence if you want your car to look better than it ever has.Thank you so much, Juan and Rob! JG Audio has my absolute highest recommendation for tint, paint protection film, and ceramic pro application. Without hesitation, JG Audio has been my first stop off the dealer lot for the past three vehicles I ve had for tint and PPF. On the most recent car I asked for a vinyl roof overlay with ceramic pro treatment in addition to the other items. What you ll get from Juan, Eddie, and Rob is an extremely personable and professional experience not only with how they treat you, but in their dedication to your car. They are all truly masters of their craft and perfectionists. As a car enthusiast, this goes a long way for me. The adage that you get what you pay for is totally true when it comes to what these men do. Excellent work and competitive pricing.

The guys at this shop are 100% the best I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Very honest shop and always looking out for the best interest of thier customers. They have worked with me on my cars and have given me really good advice everytime and have helped save me money. They work on top notch rides but they are not above helping you out if you got a average little junker that you need a good stereo in. Lol. Most of the cars I see in here are Porsche, BMW, and Tesla but I brought my Dodge Nitro and they gave it a really nice boomin system. I was extremely satisfied with the end product as they created a custom molding to hide my subwoofer saving me alot of space. Great quality of work and like I said, honest guys.

These guys are awesome and knowledgeable! Eddie hooked me up with a great job to my little truck. No problems what so ever, went out of his way to explain possible options and features for what i needed. Definitely recommend this place!!

Everyone else is giving these guys five stars so, I might as well... Seriously though. I needed a simple amp and sub install. I found these guys right down the street from my office. They got me in same day and finished within a few hours. They one thing they didn't do.. I wanted some complicated switch install and they told me, "NO!" They said they were going to follow the install instructions. So much for trying to get them to do things the wrong way. :). Turned out perfect! Thanks guys!

Talented experts saved me in a pinch. My new go to car wiring guys. I have a modified moving truck with an overkill wiring system and split phase inverter. I previously took it to another Berkeley audio place but they weren't the best. I brought it to JG and they were very knowledgeable. Using the right parts and tools for the job they applied their talents and skillfully got me back up. Much appreciated. I will be coming back for the android audio and camera system install!

Self power subwoofer install in 2019 Ford ranger. Made appoint, they installed sub in the tight space I wanted. Friendly, fast and did a great job. Didn t try to up sell or anything. Five stars.

Awesome job installing and customizing a stereo I thought was made for my car, they made it look pro installed. Awesome service, super cool guys, I will definitely be going there for more of my car stereo needs. Oh yeah and awesome prices check these guys out! =)

The owner of this Fine Establishment has a good attention to detail and does very nice work! He does custom work too! He has a new product that can be but on your car where you never have to wax again! Does that sound great or what!! He is a stand up guy and he deals fair! You do not have to worry about any monkey business or the famous wind being blown up the wazzu with this guy! He is straight up and he deals fair! So if you are looking to get some nice things done to your vehicle even moto bike or bike, give this Man a call first! Juan is his name! Later

Rob and Juan provide thorough explanations of your options, all the pros and cons, have the best prices, and couldn't be nicer to deal with. I trust them. I've been to other local shops for auto security devices and now I'll only go to JG Audio & Alarm. Look no further.

I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Galant that was lacking [especially as an UBER driver] one of the most critical pieces to a car: an aux or Bluetooth device. I began searching various shops that could install one for me and I found JG Audio and Alarm. I called and Juan answered right away, told him what I needed, and he told me to just bring the car right in. Once I arrived, he was extremely friendly and social. He explained to me everything he was doing. When we realized an aux wouldn't work due to my phone, he pulled out a Bluetooth device and explained exactly how it would work. Throughout the process, Juan reminded social and interactive but focused on the job. I could tell he has a genuine interest in what he does and serving his customers. Also, I was able to squeeze some general information out of Juan about my car and what I can do to keep it in good shape (hes not a "certified" mechanic but you can tell he knows his cars). He even went as far as to search up some information for me. I was there for about an hour but honestly it doesn't feel like an hour and I didn't mind staying there at all. Once he was done, he worked with me to connect my phone to the Bluetooth device and it works perfectly. He even made an effort to make it clear if I had any issues to reach out to him. I HIGHLY consider anyone who is looking to buy and install a new sound system or even a simple aux / Bluetooth installation to go to JG Audio and Alarm! I will definitely be a returning customer.
