I highly recommend Hustead s Auto Body on 7th St, not only for their quality professional service but also for the way they put humans first and meet you with great kindness. I worked mainly with Sam and really appreciated the way he thoroughly and honestly shared all information with me and was patiently present to listen and assist in all my questions. I am touched by the way Sam and Hustead s Auto Body model true integrity in business and wonderful communication. This made a difference in my life in a challenging time. Thank you!

This is such a great place to bring your car if you have any issue from an accident (my case)! Sam and Alex were my main contacts and were so nice, easy to work with and genuinely honest people. I would highly recommend this body shop to anyone and would absolutely come here again in the future. Excellent, as always. My third time dealing with Sam for minor body repairs, which I ultimately decided to cash out, but he is a real expert, explains everything, answers questions and treats me, a woman with no idea about cars, with respect and transparency. In sum, a great professional and the work Husbands has done in the past was perfect.

The best auto-shop in the bay! Alex and Sean have been the most amazing people I had the chance to be served by. Their communication, schedule, price, fairness, energy and kindness is excellent. They saved me a lot of money and even cleaned my car for no extra charge :) These guys are also taking all required measures in these crazy COVID times, which I am extremely grateful for. Husteads is a blessing Sam and his crew helped fully repair my Outback after an accident returning it in like new condition. They also navigated dealing with insurance companies, and kept the process moving even when there was a lot of blockages and bureaucracy by insurance. Took the car in for a repair to the front bumper. Had problems with the repair within 30 days, Went back and the shop refused to stand behind their work or compromise in any way. Bad customer service and workmanship.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

After some pretty extensive hail damage to my car, the process of getting it repaired at Hustead s could not have been smoother. They worked pretty quickly (2 weeks for all the repairs including a new hood) and dealt directly with my insurance. I would definitely go back if my car needs any repairs later.

Husteads auto body did panel work on my Alfa Romeo Giuila after it was hit. Their work will have your car looking as nothing ever happened and their customer service was terrific. I would recommend them before any one else!

I've now dealt with Craig and his crew both in a professional and personal capacity. His company does terrific work! You get your vehicle back washed and the interior vaccumed! Now that's what I call going the extra mile.The best body shop in the Bay Area!

I ve taken our car there twice now for body work. Both times they did the job quickly and professionally and both times they actually did extra work at no charge, just because they take pride in their work. Highly recommend.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I am at home housebound because the virus so I sent my daughter to bring in my damaged Chevy bolt to be repaired on left side. After a week or so my daughter was told to pick the car and turned the rental. She brought home . And they missed repairing the left number on that side and did a half a trying to fix it. Then my daughter had to rent another car and we are now on our 3rd week. During this time we had to make approval with our insurance company t o up the cost for repair and another car rental approval. On top of that My daughter said the hustead guy had an attitude bringing the car back. I have used this firm before and they seem to not inspect damage and repair with USAA standards. When I contacted them their Manager stated it is up the customer to point out areas to repair. I said this area on the left bumper was very obvious so you knew it was there and tried to fix it hoping my daughter didn t see but I did and had to send the car back. Hustead did a louder job inspecting and shoddy job of repair causing me more aggravation and time. Your lucky to get one star or less if I could give it ! You will not get USAA business from them and for sure not me.....CW3 Harold Taberner, USA (Ret)

This is the best auto repair place I'ver ever known. Not only that, but the people there will do everything to help you out. I had work done there on my Camry a few years back--excellent job, good price--so when my husband's handicap van got its 10th scrape, I decided it was time to revisit. I drove it to Gilman Collision and asked for an estimate, thinking I'd need to replace both bumpers. I explained that we just wanted the van to look more presentable and we didn't want to put a lot of money into repair since handicap vans get dinged often. Well, Gary, the owner (I think), went around the car, noting the problems, and then he called one of his workers over, who was holding a can of some kind of oily solution. He had the man go around the car and rub all the dings. It took 15-20 minutes, and then Gary said, "Can you live with this?" Many of the dings had disappeared entirely, and yes, I could live with the ones that remained. Gary said that life is hard enough without having to pay for needless work, and he sent me on my way without charging me a penny. His kindness took my breath away.

Husteads auto body will bring your vehicle back to life after after any size collision and have it looking new again. Great people, excellent service and a fair price.

GOOGLE: You should not have carried over these reviews. The reviews below are for GILMAN COLLISION REPAIR (run by Craig), ***not*** Hustead's (run by a guy named John, who bought this as a 2nd location of Hustead's). The business is NO LONGER operating.
