I have been taking my cars to Grandmas Garage for several years now. Phoebe has always been kind and thorough. She explains what needs to be done versus what can be saved for later, and any upcoming services to budget for. This is my first time feeling totally safe and at ease with a mechanic. Plus, there is a great cafe just a few feet away!

We tried installing a light replacement for our headlights on our Toyota Highlander. The Youtube video said that it was easy to do. Ha!!! Maybe for some, but not me.I had seen Grandma's Garage in Berkeley on Nextdoor with some favorable reviews. So, I gave her a call, and when she found out that I was without lights, she asked if I could come in at 1 today. I enthusiastically said It was an easy thing for her to do. I had my own parts, and also brought in 2 different interior filters for my car for her to install. It only took her 5 minutes to do it all. Easy Shmeasy for her!I asked what she likes doing--and she said--maintenance. Well, I know where I am going next time my car needs maintenance--to Grandma's!!!

Grandma's really helped me out in a pinch! My splash guard fell off and then a bunch of the rest of the front end of my car started falling off too. I was only in town for a couple of days on my way from LA to Portland. I didn't have time to order parts. She referred me to a nearby salvage yard so I could get the parts immediately if available. She gave me a great DIY workaround for how to cheaply and easily do a temporary fix that would get me through the rest of my trip if they didn't have what I needed. She helped me zip tie the loose pieces of my car together to make it functional and keep the problems from getting worse on a long drive. Thanks Grandma!

I am so thankful I found Grandma's Garage. I can hand over the car and the keys with complete confidence I will be treated honestly. A rare find now a days.

Fantastic work. The dealership said $10k to fix my Prius, this shop did it for $1200, including a new smaller battery.

My family has patronized Grandma"s for many years and have great respect for the owners work. I recommend Grandma's Garage highly.
