My partner stopped by here to get speakers swapped and a deck installed. They quoted him $350, when all was said and don t charged him over $600. The cost of the deck and speakers on Amazon totals to under 100$ so they charged $500 in labor for a job that should have taken under an hour. When he got home, he noticed the deck was wobbly because they used 2 screws instead of 4. The body paneling was not put back correctly, and they removed screws from the ashtray they didn t have to remove and didn t put them back, and they stripped a screw near the door handle. In short, they over charged, did incomplete work, and damaged the car. AVOID!

I've had nothing but great experiences aside from my last one. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I probably won't return. Do they do quality and quick work? Yes. Are they always polite and convenient? Ummmm

The service was fast and the selection was good. The lady in the office has a cute friendly dog and I have a new stereo for a very reasonable price. There's even free parking in back.

This place is such a scam. For the IID install the desk lady asked for the year, make, and model of the vehicle and literally came up with a number for the install price. Appointments don t matter as I got booted to second even with an appointment scheduled for when the shop opened.

Although I like this company for audio and I like the intoxalock product. Installed, the instructions they gave on its use. We're totally incorrect and I will totally locked out for about a week due to no fault of my own. Additionally, the intoxalock company itself gave out totally incorrect information and it's use in there catalog and on their app. After having my car towed to a local coastal town I was visiting, I was finally given the correct instructions by Pulse in Fort Bragg, California who I highly recommend!

My car sounds worse than factory original. Got a new stereo and speakers. I opened it all up and inspected the work. Missing screws...screws of all different types and sizes. Stripped out parts. The installer didn't care at all and ruined my car. I get water in the doors now. All around really bummed out. Please don't take your car here.

Agree with others. Don t trust her. She s the rudest owner and stubborn staff that I noticed since I stepped foot in Berkeley 5 years ago and as I leave Berkeley today.

This place is horrible. Bought 2 twelves, amp and a pop off deck. The guy who installed my stereo did a lousy job. Kept having to go back for him to fix the wires. Also, the pop off deck broke after a week. Went back to just get my money back or an exchange. Brazilian owner called the police. Police told me to solve it in small claims. Went to Best Buy in Pinole to have them fix things. They correctly wired my car and I upgraded on my deck. They told me this place got over on me. Cheap deck cheap speakers.

They service was very professional, fast installation, fair prices. I would highly recommend them. Keep it local! Help your local business! Anytime and everytime I need anything installed I always come here! The gentlemen who installed my stereo is as pro as he can get. Perfect installation, no problems. Every visit and installation here has been pleasant and positive.

I had a back up camera and touchscreen radio, installed on my 2012 Volkswagen, and not only are they extremely fast, but they are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Prices are very fair for such quality work. Would recommend.

We had a terrific experience with Patty and her crew. Patty made the perfect recommendation and the guys did a neat and quick job installing the new stereo. Pricing was very fair and importantly straightforward.We had a problem and Patty could have made it tough for us (the problem was intermittent, and in the stereo, not their work) but instead she made the whole thing easy. The new stereo is awesome ... very happy we chose Best Auto Radio.

I went there to get help install my own stereo system, and although they didn t have to help me with it, they did. They only charged me for the parts that I needed. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend them for stereo work. I probably will go to them if I want to upgrade my system.

Wide selection of products, the staff seems to know a lot and are friendly. They have big sales sometimes, wait for those to get good prices, at least on gear (installation seems a tad excessive to me).

They broke my car on purpose to promote their new mechanic service.I did not review immediately after because they had my address & the guy who hit my radiator with a wrench looked like a thug.We'd packed the car to go to Oregon for vacation & this was our last stop before leaving town. I asked them to install speakers I'd bought elsewhere. They put them in. Afterward, as we tried to buckle up, none of the seatbelts would retract.They put me & my teens in the waiting room, to "fix" the seatbelts. My son went to the door to watch, he saw the mechanic open the hood & use a wrench to hit the pipe to my radiator. A sudden burst of steam issued forth. They came in saying I needed immediate expensive repairs.(Seatbelts are not controlled by anything under the hood, there was no need to open the hood at all.)My son told me what he'd seen & we left fast. I went directly to my own trusted mechanic, who said it was definitely suspicious as these don't just break.Buyer beware....

I went in to the store to find out if my viper alarm was still working. I asked for a written estimate and I was refused. I had this business install my viper alarm system a few years back. I've had electrical issues ever since. The installer has only a high school education at the most. He does not understand electricity at all. The woman won't give written estimates so she can charge whatever she wants! Stay away from this rip-off business!

They sell one thing and do another, like a second remote that come with the alarm you have to pay more for the second remote???,when on the box picture of 2 remotes, the ihstaller opened my unopened box of of Hennessy privilege and drank a few shots, then blew out the amp speaker combo I had that he bench tested it, it worked, before he did install then it didnt work when he put it I'm my car, I had to buy amp and speaker. ,he should have not drank my drink and he didnt ask or tell me about it, I had to return for them to install the alarm properly, only the light and horn worked, it did never go off when I shook the car opened the doors

Patty at the front desk provides excellent customer service as well as information I needed when i came to get my vehicle serviced for sound installation. They also carry top of the line products and equipment so you leave with the best sound possible.

Parie denied that she had my second package despite all of the receipts I had of my package being there. She wouldn t even look for it until I had stood there for a while arguing with her. When she finally looked tor it, it was right there and she didn t even apologize.
