Bought a set of tires online and made an appointment to mount them. They call me earlier that day to let me know that the tires are at the store and ready for my appointment. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. They act like they had no clue I was coming. After an unnecessary amount of time, they discovered that my appointment was cancelled without a reason noted. My tires are there, but the appointment got cancelled. I was not informed that my appointment was cancelled. I rescheduled for tomorrow, but I have zero expectation that the appointment will be upheld. They probably cancelled my appointment to fit in a family member/friend. Either way, a phonecall to reschedule would've saved me the trip. Lack of basic customer service and common sense.I'll be driving farther and paying a premium at America's Tires in the future.TL;DR: Be related to, or have a friend that works in the Service Department. They'll hook you up at the cost of someone else's convenience.

I arrived at this place 630am, which online and this sign clearly states it opens at 6am. No one assisted me for service until 722am, which of course I was the first one there. I was only getting an oil change and my car wasnt ready until 833am. When I asked the cashier about the opening time, he said he dont know cause he just transferred there. Unbelievable, smh....

What a fantastic crew at this Walmart Auto Center! From the front desk manager to the young man who checked us in to the man that put on our new tires! Amazing customer service and great prices for the tires! We were there on April 12 at 8:20 am. We would highly recommend this business!Service: TiresService: Tires

I ve been taking my car here exclusively for over two years, a simple oil change almost always takes multiple hours but overall service is fine and they do a good job. Today, I had a terrible experience and won t be going back again because of it. I made an appointment to have two new tires put on (I ordered them myself, online) and oil changed. Appointment was for 9. 10:30 rolls around and they let me know they do not even have my tires, despite my confirmation email saying they are in the auto center. So I go to get them from the pickup area myself and bring them back over to auto. When I brought them back and explained to the man at the counter what car they were for, he made a joke that they didn t feel like doing it today . By 11:25 the tire change is finally completed. I let the assistant manager know that I m going to cancel the oil change, she could not care less, just simply said okay . I don t feel that 2 1/2 hours is appropriate to change two tires. There were a LOT of workers just sort of walking around not doing much of anything. There s literally no point in even making an appointment because it is still first come, first served (but I was assured nobody would be able to skip in front of me, so that s great!). I went somewhere else for the oil change and they laughed when I said I was a regular customer at Walmart... they had me in and out in twenty minutes. If you have a lot of time to waste and don t care about good customer service, they do good work. Otherwise I would not recommend coming here.

1000% do I recommend them, their manager and will and other associate tall skinny white dude my apologies for not remembering your name but you guys are amazing. Keep up to great work because you got a customer for life.

I had a really smooth experience. Went in for an oil change(very affordable). I parked in the line listed under "lube" and a gentleman met me at my car and did a quick check-in process on a cellular-like device. Then I was able to head inside and wait. Paid for the oil change once they completed it, and they even let me know about a few other things that needed attention for my vehicle. It was great!It did take a while for the oil change to be completed, maybe about an hour. I didn't mind, we had time to spare and there is a Wetzel Pretzel and Subway in this Walmart. We picked up snacks and browsed the endless aisles. Overall the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. It was nice to see quite a few women working here as well!

Asked the guy for battery cables to connect two batteries. Figured it would be a black and red cable but they were both black, he said to label one red for positive. Tried to hook them up this morning and it sparked so much it caught one of the batteries on fire while still in my van i plan on calling an attorney because god forbid they answer their phones at this walmart!! Completely fried my solar set up that iv been collecting for the better part of 6 months!!!Service: Battery

I usually do my own oil change but figured I'd have it done since they weren't busy. First car in the bay and still took over an hour! One lady was there for 4 hours and never got her tires looked at even though she had an appointment. I'll just go back to doing it myself with baby on my hip and still get it done faster.

Walmart has Is bad service in their service department. Every single timeI try to get my oil change is the same story, We have no technicians available right now or if you plan on getting service in that Beaumont Walmart store, bring a lunch with you. This is the last time I have tried getting service there, Definitely going somewhere else, will never go back to Walmart service center, This is not something that just happened, it's been going on for years and I finally got fed up with it, Their service sucks

It s too bad you can just trust them to do what they say they ll do. They told me they would check the tire pressure. The invoice even states checked,34 the actual tire pressure is the same as it was before except in different places- so at least I know they rotated my tires.3 stars for not finishing the job I paid them for now I have to waste more time going back.Edit:Major lack of leadership!I woke up early on a Saturday (leaving family) to drive 15 minutes and get to the auto center early for a oil change.7:00 came and went and no one showed. 10 minutes after I called the auto center to make sure the hours didn t change. The associate said the manager has to open the garage doors and he was waiting but didn t know where he was or how long it would be.I then called the main store to hopefully get connected to someone and let them know a manager was needed in auto. What I got instead was the phone ringing for almost 5 minutes and then someone answered and hung up without a word. Super unprofessional!At 7:21 the garage starts to open and just 1 associate begins rolling tires outside to set up the store. After watching him push tires around for 5 minutes I decided to find another place. There s a point when it s not worth the few bucks I d save compared to another shop. Why was this not done before the store even opened? Shouldn t they be ready to take customers by the time they open?This whole experience has really turned me off on supporting Walmart. This entitled culture they have going won t last long.Star downgraded to 1

I would recommend going anywhere else but here. For a simple oil change it took 2.5 hours being behind only 1 car. Not only was it a waste of time but after leaving my check engine light came on a few days later. Before leaving I spoke with a woman who had a similar incident happen and believe this isn't a coincidence. They simply don't care about ALL their customers because I don't believe they are accommodated well enough to begin with. There was one guy working on my car and I watched as he casually strolled around the garage with no sense of urgency to do his job, let alone do his job well. This place is very good at making excuses and fabricating stories of why they are capable of doing their jobs in an efficient matter, but needles to say I will tell everyone I come across to look for a different place to get their car worked on. If there was any reason to give them even a sliver of a star it would be the gentleman who worked at the register being somewhat sincere about the wait, but again that would be it.

Been to Walmart several times for my car service and so far the experience had been great. Prices are better than the dealers. Full synthetic oil change cost only $36.00 whereas at the dealership they charge $50.00. I am a believer in Walmart services and may even but some of their stocks. Value for your money. No appointment needed.

Worst experience. This place ALWAYS takes forever for an oil change. I decided I would leave home extra early to be first in line. The website stated they opened at 6 a.m. on Sundays, I arrived at 5:45 a.m. It was 6:30 and I was still waiting. I walked inside to verify the time they opened and the greeter stated not till 8 a.m. I left to grab breakfast at the nearby Mc Donald's and returned at 6:50 a.m. to see that they were rolling their doors up. (The greeter told me they opened at 8 a.m., website stated 6 a.m., still not sure what the actual hours are) I was the second car in line when they opened at 6:50 a.m. and at 8:45 a.m. my car was still not ready. When I asked the lady at the desk if my car was ready and explained to her I had been there literally all morning she seemed annoyed. She stated the oil change was done but they were still working on the fuel injection which usually adds on additional 20 mins. I feel like they threw my car to the side because of the fuel injection which their employee suggested I get. My car was finally ready at 9 a.m.!Their pricing is the only reason I return. $55 full synthetic w/ fuel injection.

Got her today and asked to have my tires balanced. Before getting started I asked how long would it take and the service man said he is not aloud to give a time frame. So I asked how many cars a head of me and he said just one. I thought to my self that it shouldn't be longer then an hour. They finished the car in front of mine in like 20 minutes and pulled mine in. I walked around the store for an hour and came back to check up on it and noticed no one working on it. Asked the cashier what's taking so long that no one is working on my car. She said that's why it's first come first serve and that there is 2 cars a head of me. Told to pull my car out and forget about it. She said that she needed to check to see if they started first, which I can see they haven't. They say to give them a minute to pull it out. Then a minute later they start taking the rims off. I let the cashier know and she tells them again that I'm ready to go. They said that they started on it and am I sure I don't want them to finish. I said fine and it still took another 45 minutes because he was jumping between other cars.

I do not care for their system of doing things. I had wanted to get some tires and it was the earlier afternoon around 2ish and they wouldn't let me walk in and purchase the tires I needed said I would have to make a appointment which was a problem for me cause that was my only day off. I asked if they could squeeze me in and make one exception due to me having to work and they were not busy either and would not allow me to purchase them. Which was very upsetting due to the fact I really needed tires

I always come here for my tires . Usually get great service . Only problem is they don't tell you ahead of time that you have x amount of people ahead of you . Waited for close to 2 hours just to get 1 tire changed . The person at the counter was unapologetic and did not seem to even care .I understand that it's first come first serve but it would have been nice to know how long it would have been . I was late to work because of this . Everyone here seemed to have the same problem . Nobody told them it would be a 2 to 3 hour wait .

Very dissatisfied on their extreme under performance and their over promise in a moderate emergency situation where they had to get our tires from their warehouse on a Saturday. Would have been an acceptable price, but what good is that when they them can't get them even though that assured us multiple times that they could? Really jacked our valuable time around.

They don't answer the phone often. I purchased a battery. Good price but was unable to install at the time. I still have a brand new battery that is in my trunk that I carried to my car with a leg brace on. There was numerous things that were not right. But the price of purchase was.

Waited outside for several minutes, nobody came, couldn t find anyone. Went inside, nobody at register. Long line formed behind me. Went to get help then someone came in and took everybody who was in line behind me, still no associate came to counter. Went back to ask for someone again. Finally someone came and said he can t see tires took me outside to original guy who couldn t be found then helped everyone in line behind me. It was 3:30, he said they can t do tires after 4:00 pm even though they were open till 6:00. I explained it was not 4 yet...mumbled on about a tech leaving at 4:00. Tried calling back several times and nobody would answer. Worst customer service ever.

Great customer service and prices compared to other local garages. I would recommend getting the fuel line clean up with oil change to save on fuel. Customer service just in this department is good but could at times be hard to find an associate to help you.

Have tried this place 3 times now for tires and wont ever again. 1st time they lied about having the tire in stock to charge me for a more expensive one. The second time (different car) we had to order the tires online because "they had none in my vans size in any brand" 2 hpurs after placing the order they were at the store which isnt really possible unless the were there to begin with. And now the third time same car as the first get there takes 5 mins before anyone talks to us, then were told it will be awhile ok so we shopped and took our time and checked in an hour and a half later and they didn't even start on our car yet. After 3 hours it was finally done so we could leave. No apologys or anything. Never going back to the tire or lube center.

Bought tire 4 hours to get mounted. Went to mom and pop shop in and out in 20 minutes. Got tire mounted and balance and another one patched

Came in to get some tires on our way to LA because our tired popped on the highway. They said they had the tires in stock and they could see to us right away. 4 hours later after visiting very dirty bathrooms, and the only good thing in the store (wetzels pretzels) we are still waiting and were just told they'll be done in like 15 minutes.Theres been no explanation of why it has taken this long. It hasnt been very busy and many people have arrived and left hours before us. Im incredibly disappointed with this walmart.

Major problems with the automotive department and store management Anthony at ext. 100 called last week to the help with the lack of service. if you are looking to buy products for your vehicle I would suggest look somewhere else. To make sure everyone knows what poor management. ALL Management issues for this store has been going on for 3 years. Have made 4 calls to Corp. With no help. Larry Essman.

The one star you must have in order to review goes to the automotive manager, and the mechanics who tried to help my situation. They were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. However, Wal-Mart really drops the ball pertaining to their policy on vehicle batteries. The last two batteries I've bought there (within 6 months of each other) were bad. I've had my vehicle inspected, and read w/the volt meter, alternator and starter replaced, and there are no known issues with my vehicle. After the second battery, which I purchased 12/17, went bad after only TWO MONTHS, there was no way I was buying another battery from Wal-Mart. I went to Wal-Mart expecting reimbursement for the last battery, but, per their battery policy, the best they could do for me was to exchange it. No thank you! I've now spent $300 on batteries in the past year, only to get the $18 core fee from AutoZone. Very disappointed.
