Recently moved to the area from Pasadena where I had the same very trustworthy mechanic for YEARS. Being a single female and going to a new mechanic is worrisome. Jacob was awesome, my experience was awesome and their price was very reasonable. Added bonus, Tacos and Beer is right across the street!

Ok; these guys saved my butt. My truck would not start. I had no idea what was wrong. Had it towed to them. It ended up being a computer problem and you know how those go. I was scared to death I was going to get charged an arm and a leg and it wouldn t be fixed. Well, they figured it out and it was way under what I thought It was going to cost. They had a pretty good turn around time. The other spot u was going to take it couldn t even look at it for 5 days. I highly recommend these guys. Very honest and did the job they needed to. Thank you!

By far the best Customer service I ever received at an auto repair shop. As a woman we usually get taken an advantage of when it comes to get our car's repaired. Great energy, fun conversation, good laughs all around friendly neighborhood auto shop. Need a few more things worked on so will be going back sooner than later. Go check them out for yourself Awesome guys down there

Super helpful!! My transmission gave out on my and I had to push my car halfway! I gave them a call they drove too me and offered a tow service so I didn t need to push it ! They ve been super helpful and supportive and very communicative with my car and got my car done within a couple of days! They worked very quick and efficiently . Super super nice people too! Thank you so much !

Jacob was such an amazing person here at inner city! I took it somewhere else and it was horrible the guy wanted to over price and not even try looking at it. I m telling you here is the way to go for any vehicle needs! Absolutely amazing job I m 100% satisfied! Thank you to everyone here !!!

We were from out of state, a friend recommended them. I called and spoke with Jacob (I believe that's correct), and he said he would get it in and they absolutely did, and were wonderful! I'm very thankful to them. Great experience....I mean if I had to break down, these people really took care of us.

DO NOT COME HERE! I d give this place 0 stars if I could. They did NOT properly do the tune up that they were supposed to. When they finished fixing my car ( for nearly a price gouging $500 by the way), I drove it off the lot and noticed it had a small rattle. But because it was minor and not major as it was when I brought it in, I assumed it was because my car is old, (it s a 1997 however it runs wonderfully). Then soon after (2 months later) my car stopped in the middle of the road, (when I pushed on the gas pedal it would not move). I called Inner city and spoke with JACOB asking him to rectify the matter because I asked them to do a FULL DIAGNOSTIC and fix whatever needed to be fixed (the only thing I told them not to fix was minor and wasn t important, I only declined that because it would have cost me nearly $650). He refused! And said "I can bring the car in if I want to do another diagnostic test, and identify the new issues . There are NO NEW ISSUES, THE ISSUE IS THAT THEY DIDN T FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! In other words he s saying that I m gonna have to pay for the repairs. His attitude was HORRIBLE and dismissive.Then I called AAA and told him the repair shop I went to which is INNER CITY AUTO REPAIR, and he said oooh, I ve heard a lot of bad reports about them . The AAA guy told me to pull my car up to the back of his truck, but I couldn t because my car started but when you push on the gas it doesn t move. He asked me to lift up my hood (he works on cars himself). He said looks like it s just a TUNE UP issue. Then he looked at my wires and said They should have tightened these when they gave you the tuneup. He pushed down on the wires and said, now press on you gas AND MY CAR RAN PERFECTLY WITH NO RATTLE! The AAA guy even spoke to Jacob again for me to tell him what the issue was, and Jacob gave him a bad attitude refusing to take my car back to fix what he should ve already done, for free. So the AAA recommended a GREAT auto shop to me that even he uses. They do honest work with great prices. And I agree because they fixed the issues inner city auto should have with absolutely NO RATTLE..DO NOT COME HERE!If you are looking for honest, skilled, and reliable mechanics and owner . DO NOT COME HERE! Go to Jasso auto repair right up the street, they have better prices and mechanics with HONEST INTEGRAL service.

Excellent service. My truck went in limp mode on a recent trip. After calling many shops and getting no help, this shop worked me in diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and had it installed and ready to go the next day. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for courteous, professional service. Thanks for getting me back on the road!!!

Fate brought me to this mechanic shop because my shifter decided to break right behind the owner of this shop last week. He helped me get to a safe place and offered for me to take my car to his shop the next day and he would take care of me. I called the next day to do so and I spoke to Jacob, he assured me that my car was safely towed there and they would call me back to let me know what they find. Shortly after I reviewed a call from Jacob letting me know what all was recommended and that they would get on fixing my main shifter issue. He spoke to me in normal people talk not mechanic lingo and made sure I understood everything and that it was up to me to fix what he was recommending. Jacob wasn't pushy at all or rude. As a women I highly appreciated the respect that I was given and didn't feel like he was trying to sell me services I didn't need. I got my car back after two days and it's running perfect no issues! I defiantly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a reliable shop who doesn't try to sell you unnecessary services.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair, Brakes

Had to make a quick stop for the engine light! Jacob handle the issue in a blink of an eye with excellent customer service! These guy are the most scandalous and horrible people I didn t know I was scammed when I walked out after talking to my mechanic friend on what they did to my 99 dodge ram 1500 he said I was completely ripped off. I had an injector job done and coil and payed $1300 my friend said that his shop does that for $250 I was charged $89 for each injector total of 8 when the full set of of 8 same brand goes for $80. I will never come here again.

They not only repaired my issues but did so in a timely fashion that I was down 1 day only because I arrived on a Saturday afternoon 1 pm and was up and running with complete repairs done as said.

Jacob and his team truly were outstanding! My friends and I had an emergency with my cars engine and they were able to see us right away, in under an hour. They continuously updated us throughout the process and checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Additionally, Jacob went out of his way way to provide us with a second opinion from a nearby shop to make sure we were receiving the best service possible. He also made sure to break down what exactly the issue was with my car with care and detail so that someone without a lot of car knowledge would understand what happened. I went to the new location in cherry valley on Beaumont avenue because my car kept shutting off while driving, the crankshaft sensor needed to be replaced. The team was awesome the whole process and was able to fix my car in a super timely manner while being super helpful and explaining everything very well. The car drove great for about a week when all of a sudden it shut off again, I plugged in a code reader and it was the same problem, my crankshaft sensor! I called the shop as I was out of state in the car when it happened and they were not only helpful but caring! I ended up needed a factory sensor, which was no fault of inner city but of my jeep engine, and had it replaced while in another state, but the shop, Adam especially, was so helpful the entire process and made sure I was taken care of even from hundreds of miles away! The shop stayed in touch and made sure I didn t have to pay for the same issue twice! Did great work and treated me well! Would definitely recommend this shop! They helped solve issues that were none of their own when they could have very easily thrown the situation to the side. Honest shops are hard to find and safe to say I found one! Thanks guys!

Came in lost with engine problems turns out I needed a new one . Jacob was able to find me an engine and get it installed within a week! They were very helpful and professional and explained the process thoroughly. I had to get my 4 studs and lug nuts replaced. I do recommend this place 1000 times!
