One visit so far, but my 1st impression was very good! Halbert greeted me with friendliness, answered all my questions, performed my service by the time he said it would be done, and explained what he did when he was finished. He was very personable and accommodating. He gave me a ride home, since the service was going to take a couple of hours, and offered to pick me up as well. I think I finally found a mechanic I can trust! I will definitely be going back for all my service needs! Highly recommended!

Oh my goodness, I have never been so pleased with an auto repair specialist! I have a Chevy Malibu and Camaro 2SS that needed service. They just are past warranty, so I was looking for someplace other than a dealership to get the maintenance done, specifically oil change and whatever else was needed. I was able to get through to Halbert in one phone call and he fit me in the following day for one car and the next for the other. He called me to talk about what he recommended to be done and answered all my questions and explained everything so clearly. And when he gave me the estimate, I was stunned on how reasonable it was. He was very communicative, friendly, honest, and trustworthy. I couldn t recommend his services more highly (well I d give him double the score if it were possible). There is a reason his reviews are so high. And it isn t because he offers a discount in exchange for them. And he doesn t even ask for a review. Or hound you afterwards for one. He is just a down-to-earth honest person. He is amazing and I m a customer for life now!

Halbert's Auto Garage is AMAZING! I found this auto garage after I had a horrible experience at a different place, and I'm glad I did. Halbert was very up front about cost and expectations. He was very knowledgeable. He made sure I was aware of what was going on throughout the process of my car being repaired. Service turnaround was fast. I will 100% recommend.

My car broke down mid-way to Joshua Tree. Thankfully, I found Halbert, who was able to determine what happened with my car and ensured my car was working perfectly during the rest of my trip. He s honest, reliable and the best mechanic you can find in the California desert! I m so thankful to have found him. Otherwise, my tow truck wouldn t have been able to pinpoint the exact issue and I d have had to go back to LA. Halbert is a gem!

This man is a life saver!!Got swindled into buying a car that was essentially a rolling death trap. He deleted the codes, the vehicle was leaking gas, the heads were blown, the fuel pump was destroyed just about everything that could be wrong with it was. This man was honest with what my car needed and fair on the pricing where as 2 other mechanics I took the thing to in Beaumont were just horrible. Amazing mechanic and did as much as he could for every dollar I had to spend he has my wife's and my business for as long as we live in the general area.

Halbert is simply amazing. He's thorough, dedicated, and very reasonably priced compared to others. I was barely able to roll my car into his garage when passing through Beaumont. On the same day he was able to diagnose and fix the transmission. He noticed a brake problem and fixed that too. And he even provided an oil change that was overdue. He stayed way pass closing to get all this done--knowing I wasn't local to Beaumont. I don't think I've ever had a auto mechanic do that--and plus, I have a feeling all this would have cost me more back home. I only wish I could take Halbert back to my home city. Thank you Halbert!

Had an issue with the starter on my Nissan. I dropped it off at 1:30pm, they replaced it, and picked it back up at 4:00pm. Very impressed with service, and reasonably priced

A1 service. This guy is on top of the game. He takes his time to find out what is wrong and does the job right. Something I was trying to figure out at home for days. He figured it out in one day and had it out that same day for me. Is clean, professional, and respectful. It's definitely worth waiting for if he's busy. Most importantly, reasonable on price compared to everybody else.

We broke down on the way to Palm Springs. Found Halbert's Auto Garage nearby. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted by Halbert himself. He was so kind and friendly and got to work on our car right away! He was able to get us back on the road within a couple of hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HALBERT'S AUTO REPAIR GARAGE!! I found out about Halbert 3 years ago and ever since his first job on one of my cars I could tell he was a honest and very good prices compared to other shops I have dealt with in the past. He takes the time to tell you exactly what needs to be changed and what can wait a little longer to get fixed. I recently brought him an old toyota Corolla that needed a lot of work and now its in way better condition than in was a month ago! I have also recommended Halbert to other friends and family and they have been happy with his jobs and excellent service.

Halbert is a great mechanic and does not make you feel pressured on what work needs to be done. He is welcoming and has great communication , up front with what needs to be done with your vehicle. Halbert did a great job working on my 08 E90 he replaced the Valve cover, Gaskets, Eccentric Shaft Sensor, Voltage Regulator, Spark plugs, CoilPacks and Ignition coil guides. I brought him my parts to replace and he fixed the issues in a timely manner.I highly recommend Halbert for all car repairs. Halbert is honest and prices are great! I will be bringing my cars to Halbert as I finally found a great mechanic. Thanks again!

Replaced my fuel pump and AC the very next day, he checks all fluid level and maintenance item for wear, and informs you of upcoming things that should be done if you want the car running good. The best part is he is willing to stay OPEN late after hours and took me home since I didn't have someone to pick me up in Beaumont

Halbert is a great and reliable mechanic he did a bolt extraction on my expedition as well as the coil packs and spark plugs truck was very shaky before I took it in and when he called me to pick it up the expedition ran flawlessly! Spend your money here you won t regret it

I ve been in many auto mechanics but no one compare to this Very knowledgeable, down to earth and very kind person . He will be my mechanic forever I have BMW, Mercedes Benz and Toyota s and Honda and He fixed it 50 percent lower than the Dealer price,He can diagnostics the car problem right away and He will tell you exactly when your car is finish or done, I recommend this guys to all my friends and families and they are all happy.
