Highly recommended! The apartment/small townhouses are huge and we felt at home immediately. We ve been traveling for the last 200 nights and can without doubt say that this was the cleanest of all the places we ve stayed - even compared to 5 star hotels in Singapore. A pleasure to be there. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for the two of us for just 100 USD per night over a weekend in October. There was access to a pool & jacuzzi, which was nice after hiking in Yosemite and we enjoyed the BBQ on our terrace. The drive to the South Gate of Yosemite is ~30 minutes while the Yosemite Valley is 1.5 hours away. We drove back and forward in a day without problems.

The rooms were spacious but not the most well maintained property. We had to ask for maintenance for a couple of things but they responded quickly. The proximity to the bass lake is great. There is an easy walkable trail from the property for the view. Friendly check in service and free coffee at the check in desk. You need to pay for WiFi service. The property also has a pool, hot tub, basketball court, ping pong table and board games. Less than 30 minutes to the south entrance to Yosemite.

It has wonderful rooms and staff, unfortunately the internet is driving this one star review. It s impossible to get any work done with how slow it is, and they don t offer an option to pay for a faster network. Until they fix this issue I cannot recommend this location because it s impossible to check work emails or look-up any local activities/hikes. If you come to this hotel make sure you plan to have zero access to internet or cell service.

I simply cannot say enough about the manager and staff at Bass Lake. We have been Whyndam timeshare owners for over a decade and this location, hands down, has the most gracious and accommodating staff. We live across the country but would visit here time and again. A sincere thank you to the staff for saving our vacation. I wish I could do more to thank them through a review. The staff here restored our faith in humanity.

Quick check-in with friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice simple layout. Close enough to Bass Lake. 45-90 minutes to Yosemite depending on the ultimate park destination. Parking lot was a little tricky to navigate.Nearby activities: Mountain lake right next door. Two NationalParks within reach.

We had a beautiful, spacious 2 bedroom unit. Quiet community but close to everything, shopping, pretty towns, and the Yosemite valley. Nice clean modern rooms, baths, and fully equipped kitchen. Resort has a nice swimming pool, tennis courts and basketball court, perfect for family stays. Very pleasant front office staff, they are helpful and will get you anything needed. Thank youWorldmark Wyndham and RCI for a wonderful stay in the mountains!

John the rooming supervisor ruined our family s trip. Being in a premier elite family member for WorldMark more than 20 years, and never dealt with such an egoistic self centered employee, so proud of his job title. He judged my family assuming we were taking advantage during a late check-out. Couldn t dial in to the office from the room numerous times and their office line before checkout , but no one answered, knowing we are running late (never happened before) and called office to request an extension for a late check out even if fees apply. He had poor customer service and didn t hear me out before he demanded we leave and will charge another day. Which was fine for us to request if we can extend over 2 hours after checkout. Disappointingly, John didn t give an option or an explanation about availability. Just an attitude of superiority and act as if he is my landlord. First of all- We made reservations 2 days before arrival and showed them proof of confirmation, but sadly didn t make it on the first day. They couldn t find my reservation in their system which they admitted it was their systems fault. My family and I waited almost 30 mins to get a room which the lady in the front desk was courteous enough and tried her best. She reversed fees and started a new reservation for us which was nice but I told her it was not necessary. I only requested upon check-in if I can get a late check-out since there was an inconvenience to us. But John the room supervisor said they didn t have a room available upon check-in and did us a favor by getting us one. What? Was it was our problem? He said it is Worldmark s problem and not theirs. Aren t they WorldMark? I don t understand. Therefore he stated that we are taking advantage of them. The lady upon check-in told me it would be all sorted out in the morning for a late checkout if I explained, and they should understand. One employee can ruin it all and won t go back till he apologizes. Will contact all above him till this issue is resolved. I don t want any other co-member to go through this again. FYI- Main Pool heater is broken this weekend and second pool on home owner side doesn t have a heater. Jacuzzi could be warmer. Found employees chilling in our room before check-in, and have poor communication with each other. Management needs to check in on these issues. Worst WorldMark experience in this location, but great things to do outside.

Overall not a bad place to stay but could've been better. It's all about the small stuff really. My spouse and I stayed here because of the proximity to Yosemite but the main attraction here is the lake. Yosemite is about 1.5 hour drive from the resort. We ventured to the lake once but it wasn't really our thing. Being the middle of summer and a hot weekend, the lake was filled with boats and packed with people. The resort itself is decent. Swimming pool, basketball court, hot tub, children's playground, and direct trail to the lake. It does not have a fitness center like other Worldmark resorts. I had to get a week membership at Anytime Fitness in Oakhurst 15 min away. The perimeter was clean and all the units are townhome style, two levels, and two bedrooms. Upon first inspection of our unit, we were really impressed. Decent up to date decor, not too old...not too new. I loved how much space there was and the full kitchen was great. However, we noticed a few uncomfortable details after we got settled in the first day.1) Ants in the kitchen. It wasn't swarming with them but we killed about 20/day. We kept all our food covered and washed the dishes immediately so it wouldn't attract more.2) Floors were dirty. They're dark so you don't notice at first. The hard flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen needed sweeping and some parts of the kitchen felt sticky. I ended up wiping the sticky parts only to discover a severely dirty towel. One wipe alone made the entire side of the white towel turn dirt brown. I ended up wiping all the floors because I found it disturbing. It's as if the housekeeping had never mopped. They have carpet and I shudder to imagine what neglect the carpets have seen. As owners, isn't this what we pay for with the housekeeping credit?3) If we didn't use the water for a few hours, we noticed that gray dirty water came out. We had to let the water run for a couple minutes to turn clear before using.4) I mentioned a loud sound that comes on occasionally and randomly on the side of the unit. I was explained that it was the water heater. Motion sensors in the unit detect when you go into the kitchen and through the stairs. It then turns on the water heater so you have constant hot water. As nice as that is, it sure was loud. If I was sleeping in the living room with the Murphy bed, that would be really disruptive.I did mention all the above to the front desk upon check out. Unfortunately, we had to end our stay early due to the Washburn fire in Yosemite. I mentioned it to a front desk staff and she assured me it wouldn't reach the lake but we had been monitoring the fire and air quality. The morning we left, ash was falling over the resort and you couldn't see the hills because of the smoke. Air quality control labeled it poor air. Luckily I was able to get in touch with Worldmark Owner Care and they promised to refund us for the days we weren't staying. I mentioned the cleaning concerns but they refused to refund the housekeeping credit. If I came back to Yosemite I'd stay here again but if something better comes into town, I might reconsider.

Clean, nice, well maintained, pretty landscaping, friendly staff. Well situated to explore Bass Lake, Yosemite, Mariposa, and Oakhurst.Rooms: Nice, clean, well stocked. Stairs are a little too steep.Nearby activities: Lots to do and explore in the surrounding area; Yosemite, Bass Lake, etc. Also they have a nice swimming pool, hot tub and basketball court.Safety: We felt safe and had no issues all week.

Out of all the WorldMark's I've visited so far it's definitely not at the top but it's ok. First the positive - clean grounds, clean rooms, clean pool area, friendly and helpful staff. Now the not so pleasant - we had a two bedroom special needs room with the bedrooms upstairs. It was nice that the stairs had a chairlift, but the kitchen was so small and cramped. The kitchen table was so big it took up all the floor space in the dinning area and there was no way to get a wheelchair passed the table to be able to go out the slider and access the patio/bbq. The washer/dryer was a one machine combo so the washer also dried your clothes however the total wash and dry process took a few hours for 1 load. This resort has NO arcade and NO gym. The hot tub was ice cold. The basketball court was very nice but needs a fence to prevent balls from going into the main road. The phone in our unit didn't work. Bass lake was sooooooo crowded and the small lake had so many ski boats and jet skis it was total chaos. Definitely not a fishing spot. Also, if you're planning to go to Yosemite you have to have a reservation. You will not be admitted into the park without one until after 4pm.

Simply loved the overall surroundings and ambience of this location. Very pleasant and calm atmosphere. Comfortable, cozy and superb cabins equipped with all the required amenities and facilities. Well maintained rooms. Safe and secured place. Large and enough parking space as well. Reasonable rates. Unfortunately only had an overnight stay here. So couldn t enjoy and relax more here. Next time would definitely want to come back here again for a couple of days. It feels beautiful to be in the midst of woods surrounded by the incredible Yosemite Valley.

My situation is still being investigated. I had made reservations at Worldmark resort. When my family arrived we were told Priceline/hotel beds had cancelled our reservation. The hotel staff and their general manager Mr Savage...we tried to figure out what happened and where Priceline had relocated my family but never got an answer. I was so stressed and cried. Imagine planning this trip for over a month, your whole family is excited only to be told your reservation was cancelled. I never received notifications from Priceline nor the hotel that it was cancelled. My family arrived at Worldmark resort after a long day in Yosemite National; excited that our room was ready. So, we can rest up and now can relax to enjoy the rest of our vacation. But it was cancelled. For the next 2 hours. The hotel staff Lauren and Mr Savage (general manager) was trying to figure out what happened to my reservation because we were over booked by Priceline and now had nowhere to go. After 2 stressful hours and me balling my eyes out... because my family and I had planned this birthday trip for over a month just to find out it was cancelled. My kids were devastated...so as their mom I felt devastated because their happiness was ruined in that moment and having to see their mom cried over the whole situation. After what seemed like an eternity....I just decided to see if any surrounding hotel/resort had openings. I forgot the lady's name at the resort but said the pines resort had availability so my family was able to get a room there. I am thankful we can continue on with our vacation and make the best out of it.I paid for that stayed out of my own pocket.Priceline still hasn't refund the cost at Worldmark. They want proof of the cancellation because according to them they didn't cancel us. According to Janine at Worldmark resort/staff/general manager Mr Savage. They've received notifications from their database that it was cancelled. This is a back and forth situation and me as the consumer is getting the run around and no resolution. Ultimately, I just want my refund. My situation is still not resolved and my refund for this whole ordeal is still not refunded. Please, help me get my refund back. I will never ever do business with Worldmark nor Priceline. This experience was a nightmare.

So in love! Such a great getaway for the whole family or just your spouse! The people were super helpful and organized. The pool is set up with reservations right now which was great! We could still enjoy the pool without having a ton of people in it. Planning in going back soon! Bass Lake is beautiful!

This was my fourth stay at WorldMark Bass lake. It is conveniently located near Yosemite and is my favorite place to stay when I visit that beautiful National Park. Our room was clean and neat with a lovely living room, two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a very adequate kitchen for the four of us who stayed there. There is also a Murphy bed though we didn't need to use it. There is a grocery store a few miles away and we enjoyed making our own breakfasts and dinners in the condo each day which helped keep costs down. We also made lunches to take into the canyon each day. There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi, although we never had time to use them. If you want to use the Jacuzzi, you have to reserve a time in advance.

Only 2 times in the last 21 years have I had a room that was not a Penthouse suite these are just condo townhouses with nothing exceptional to brag about the rooms and property are surrounded by residential neighborhoods and over half of the townhouses are rented out as hotel To anyone not world mark members it is not to my preference to want to stay at this location ever. The quality of the maintenance staff is substandard it looks like it was a bring your kid to work day of the talking around the bathtubs and shower and closures very poor workmanship the electrical switches and outlet plates are almost all of them crooked it seems like the mirrors at the bathroom vanities are all crooked It is like the maintenance people do not own a level to make sure the quality of the workmanship isUp to par I am a 38 year Union electrical contractor and am very picky about the quality of workmanship in all of my projects that I have done in the last 38 years plus this place is not up to the quality standards of what I am used to as I have always read the Penthouse suites in every worldmark that I've been to this Bass Lake did not offer a pinterest suite and I do not recommend it

Service staff has been great. Easy access to the lake with private parking. Each condo has its own grill which is great. Plenty of space, it's been a great stay with my four kids. There have been a few insects inside the condo, but that's somewhat to be expected in a natural location like Bass Lake. Internet is kinda slow.

Great location, close to the "downtown" area of Bass Lake, and also has direct trail access to the lake. The room had a bit of an odd smell when we checked in, but we have learned to bring plug-in air fresheners on our trips to make it feel more like home, and that fixed the issue.
