Dropped my car off at noon and was told they may not be able to get to my car but I would be first for the following day if I leave it since they work on first come first serve. Left my car overnight, next day called at 10 AM for an update on the diagnostic of my brakes staying engaged. They said my car was next in like for work. Drove by at 2 P.M my car was still sitting in the parking lot never worked on with other cars in the bay. My keys weren t even with the rest of customers keys but on someone s desk. Will never return or recommend.

I just took my car in today for an oil change and they left me a quart low after I checked the dipstick. They also stripped the oil drain bolt the last time I took it to get an oil change and they never told me, but they fixed it today and tried to tell me that whoever did it last messed it up. But they were the ones that did it last and never included it in the receipt. They made me pay full price for the oil change and didn t even give me the full amount of oil that was supposed to be included. They also never owned up to their mistake about stripping the drain bolt the last time I took it in. I also wanted to talk to the boss, but they wouldn t let me talk to him. They also tried to sell me two new tires because they said the tires were bald but I told them I would worry about that later.. They then offered to rotate my two front tires to the back, I told them yes and they didn t even do it. This is the last time I will be taking my car there. They charged me 148 for an oil change and the oil filter.

Mixed review because they seem to have fixed the shaking issue with my jeep with a wheel balancing and tire rotation. When I called to explain the issue the guy on the phone told me it was "death wobble" and I would want to get rid of the vehicle but to bring it in so the mechanics can look at it. I brought it in and the girl working the counter said the same thing before any mechanics looked at it. Finally a different guy understood what I wanted looked at and a mechanic fixed it. They really need to not have thier counter staff, who are not mechanics, diagnose issues and definitely not give out advice like "get rid if your car"

Edit: Downgraded the 5 star to 1 star.Had them replace and adjust my headlamps. Was overcharged on the adjustment price.Then, I asked to lower the light beam, so I could actually see the road.(Beam was too high)The lady said she would charge me full price for the slight adjustment.So, It wasn't right the first time, AND she's going to (over)charge me again!!!!I will NOT be going back!!

We were helping our son move from Lake Elsinore to Kingman AZ. It was Saturday of the Veterans Day weekend. We found a tire shredded at a gas station fill up! We were so lucky to have found this business! It was open!! So professional ..so quick in helping us get back on the road and reasonably priced! We highly recommend them!! A big thank you!!

What amazing service!I needed a sudden and unexpected brake job on my truck and Michael was able to get me right in, a few hours later I was back on the road, so happy with the service, the friendliness and the price.Highly recommend these guys!

On the way to Big Dog, low air pressure warning light on. Exiting the freeway, found the 1st tire shop I came upon. Techs were friendly and diagnosed my problem immediately. A small wait, but not complaining.. I could have been changing a tire in the middle of nowhere at high noon! Competitive prices. Military discount, alright!!! Made my trip to Vegas more enjoyable and safe for sure . Michael was great

You will find out pretty quickly if your driving though the area ITS HOT. These guys where great at helping me get back on the road after the government truck I was driving over heated and I couldn't find any one else in the area willing to work with me. Took it in and they had me back on the road in the same day on my way to help with a fire and get back to my crew. Good service and took the wex card we use .

My car broke down about 50 miles outside of Barstow on a long road trip and these amazing humans saved my trip. I was able to leave my car for a few days while I rented a car and finished my trip. They offered me rides and took my car even though they were really busy, then had my car fixed early and for hundreds less than what they originally quoted me. Aside from being really efficient and affordable, they were also really nice and my car is still doing great. Don't break down in Death Valley, but if you do, these guys are great.

9/16/23. Another national auto place screwed up my new thermostat, and my engine was nearly destroyed. Luckily, I made it to barstow and Mike the mechanics,rescued my truck and my trip. Thank you for all the great service guys!

Worth the drive from FT IRWIN!I was having issues with my alignment, they fixed it quickly and as i was driving back, i realized the AC had quit.They squeezed me in and got it fixed.I appreciate their accomodations and professionalism

Outstanding service! And affordable Staff was very helpful. During our Move from vegas back to Sacramento we caught a nail on a tire so we needed quick servicing, we stopped by we where immediately greeted told them what the problem was and under 1 hour they repaired the tire and got us back on the road to continued our journey home.

Michael was exceptional. I needed my brakes done immediately. When he did the diagnostic he notice several issues with the car. He quoted a great price and started on it immediately. The car runs as if it was brand new. Its a 2003 vehicle. If you are in the area. Was driving cross country with my family and needed help in Barstow. These guys were awesome!!! They were kind and compassionate. They did an outstanding job on my car and for a very reasonable price. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Plus one of the guys has an awesome stash. One of the guys in the front is in obvious pain but you'd never know it talking to him. Just a truly great group of people. Thank you guys.

Full brake job only lasted about 7 months pads wore to nothing..they used the cheapest parts you could imagine. had to replace as well as caliper bolts that they stripped out

Single old lady w small camper on truck Came thru Big Bear from Cherry Valley on way to Boise, ID and steering wheel shook when put on brakes. Freaky friday! Spent night and next day took car to Barstow Brake and Tire. They took it for test drive to diagnose problem. As I thought rotors warped. I figured I'd be stuck there for a week and it was HOT! They got parts in an hour and had me back on the road in 3 hours. Amazing service and honest. Trust them completely. Thx!!!!

I can't thank, Robbie, Nic, Michael and the adorable Robert! These guys got me right in and took amazing care of me, they went out of their way to make sure my car was fixed at a great price and made sure I made it home safely. Sweet Nic called and checked on me the next day to assure I was home safely! I highly recommend Barstow Tire & Brake, not only is everyone there very knowledgeable but they sincerely care about each and every one of their customers! I just love this place as they do such a great job with everything and feel as though I can trust them with my car as I have 3 special children riding with me I want to make sure we are all safe and I get that from this company. Nick is the best customer service person I have ever met.Update: I was told I needed brakes n for some reason I felt I needed a second opinion n sure enough I didn't need brakes at all.

Security and battery light started flashing on my dash during the middle of my road trip. Stopped at this shop in Barstow with just a few hours left in the work day with no appointment completely hopeless in reaching my destination that night. Not only did Barstow Tire & Brake take a look at my vehicle and diagnose the issue within an hour of me arriving, but they also made sure they had all of the necessary parts ready at the shop that they may have needed to fix whatever the issue was that day! Mike and the entire staff were very personable and kept me updated on every step of the way. I was able to get back on the road in just a few hours! They genuinely want to help people and I almost never write reviews online for anything, but these gentlemen took such good care of me that I felt compelled to write a review. Best experience ever at an automotive shop! 5/5

I came in with an unusual issue needing a multi-stage fix on an 01 Volvo, Volvo being a brand that I don't see much of in this area apart from new models. Not only were expectations for time/price blown out of the water, but the quality of work is impeccable. 10/10 would recommend
