Closed early. Wasted my time getting my truck hot and ready for smog, called the guy told him I d be coming he said he be there til 2pm and showed up and he closed early. Not very good customer service if you ask me Edit: they contacted me back and made it right. I still think the guy needs to communicate with his customers better about when he s going to lunch, what documents are needed and such but overall he made it right so that s a plus.

The guy there was extremely friendly, and I was in and out of there within 10-15 minutes. Only spent $60, which is less than other places were asking for sure. Would definitely come here again for future smog checks

Went in this morning and the man took my car in right away for a smog check, it wasn t more than 15 mins! He was very kind and even gave us a $5 discount! Customer service was great! We definitely come back here. Recommend here for sure !

I have used Barstow Smog on several occasions as it is very convenient to a DMV station and as I move Vehicles into California you need a VIN inspection and a smog inspection. Recently I took a vehicle in, a brand new vehicle in, to get the emissions tested. Tragically the vehicle failed inspection. What really blew me away is how Daniel worked with me to try and figure a way, a solution, to get the vehicle to pass. He sent me on a short drive trying to reset the ECG monitor, when that didn't work he poked around a little, sent me on another drive, spent well over an hour and a half trying to get this vehicle inspection passed. Unfortunately in the end we didn't get it done. He didn't charge me for any of the work he did, just unbelievable. He even recommended another smog shop that I could drive to, allowing me to drive a little over an hour more, to hopefully pass. If I could rate 10 Stars here I absolutely would. There is a reason there is no wait. Aurtoro is not someone I would describe as a people person. He isn't friendly and wanted to charge extra for things uncommon when getting a smog check anywhere else. He asked $35 to open cover to access my engine??? I couldn't recommend him. Suggest Daniel at A1 down the street. Will definitely get a more pleasant experience, but there might be a wait.

I arrived at the smog check a little after 5pm today. The guy was already closing shop. He saw me pulling up and asked if I needed a smog. I said yes and that today was the last chance I had to do it. He re opened and did my test for me. I was so happy. I will definitely return and recommend to all my friends =) Thank you again!
