This business is Shady. I brought my Honda August 13,2022. Hector diagnostics was that the transmission needed to be repaired. I gave him a deposit of $500 in cash. Total that I paid is $1858. I picked up my car November. The next day I had to bring it back because it wasn t working. We re now in April 2023 and my car is still not ready. Every week he pushes back the pick up date. This is the worst experience I ve ever had. From experience don t waste your time and money.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Very very helpful in my time of need. Allowed me to get back on the road in my 1970 Dodge camper van. Not every shop will let you participate in solutions and Hector was nothing but kind and helpful! I highly recommend banning transmission. I ve had so many issues with my car. And hector and his sons helped with no issues or complaints. Always answered the phone and ready to help. Never took advantage of the fact I was a young dumb girl. Because they knew I was stressed and aren t typical mechanics who like to screw people over. Very good people to get work done by. I highly recommend.

My dad brought his Nissan 2006 Titan here, catalytic converter was the problem, they change it and payed for $2000. Then suddenly after my dad drove it out of their place the engine light pops again, brought it back to them and it was the o2 sensor now. My dad paid again for them to fix it. They said it needs to be driven, so the light will go out. Until now the light didn t went out.

I ve been to a lot of mechanics and sometimes is very hard to find a mechanic that you trust . My oil light kept coming on and I wasn t sure what it was I took it to Hector transmission he looked it over and he told me it was a sensor he could ve easily told me it was a oil pump and I wouldn t even know and charge me a lot of money for that oil Pump it only cost me $90 compared to an oil pump . My truck broke down at my home he came out his way to take a look at it and tell me what was wrong with it many mechanics will do that take time to come to customers home and see what s wrong so yes I would trust him with any of my cars and I m a senior citizen on a fixed income his prices are very reasonableServices: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Seriously great transmission guys!!! Big shout out to HECTOR for getting me my truck back. My truck had been in a previous mechanics shop for over 4 months, trying to diagnose and resolve my Overdrive issue.Got fed up , and took my truck over here to Hector , and he handed me my truck back less than a week later at %100 like it was nothing!!!! Price was great, he backs his work, and was super communicative through the whole process. Seriously can't thank him enough, will be the only one touching my trans from here out. My 2006 Ford expedition needed a full and total replacement of the transmission. I contacted Hector, the owner, and made arrangements for the transmission replacement. On the date agreed, I brought my car over, and that late afternoon I drove my car out with a brand new transmission fully installed.They were professional and courteous as I was waiting for my repair work to be completed.Provided the warranty with the new parts, and additional warranty for his labor.I will bring my other car in for transmission repair to banning transmission.I gladly recommend banning transmission for your transmission repairs.

Dishonest. My girlfriend s car had a dead battery due to a light being left on. After AAA jumped her battery a transmission malfunction warning came on and the car went into limp mode. We brought the car to Hector and explained what had happened. I told him that the PCM may have mistakenly thrown a code due to a short or loss of voltage, and clearing the code might fix it. He said he would check the codes, then drive the car, then clear the codes to see what was going on. He told us that it might be a solenoid and that he would have to replace the transmission for the low cost of $2500. He never cleared the codes to see if that was the problem leaving the car in limp mode, which makes it very dangerous to drive. My girlfriend drove it in this condition home thinking she had to come up with $2500. I hooked up my hand held code reader, cleared the codes, and the car was perfectly fine. Hector didn t do what he said he would. He grossly misdiagnosed the problem, whether it was for personal gain or incompetence I can t say for sure.

Had my truck sitting at their shop 2 days before starting work on Wednesday, then told me it would be done friday, then Saturday, then Monday, before finally saying it was ready Tuesday. Picked the car up and realized someone at the shop hit something and then tried to buff out the scratches and left me with a cracked bumper and a 3-4 inch area of missing clear coat and their greasy fingerprints right next to it. Don t take your vehicle here if you want it to come back undamaged or work completed on time.Service: Transmission

This past Saturday the 14th of September while driving from Phoenix to Anaheim Our car starting having problems on the freeway (the car was reving really high without me touching the pedals). I immediately exit the freeway and it became apparent that it was the transmission. When I put it in gear there were loud thumps. Lucking Hector's shop was close by. With many of the repair shops in town closed or about to close Banning transmission was still open. Hector diagnosed the issue to be the shift solinoid. He was able to source one from the dealership and after some begging we got him to install it same day so my kids could still visit Disneyland. After 4 hours Hector got us back on the road and was able to get to anaheim and back to phoenix with no other problems. Hector is a lifesaver!

They put used parts in your vehicle and they still hve the balls to charge 2k. Its a dishonest shop

NEVER GO HERE... LIAR, I had a vaccume leak he clearly new because you could hear the suction he took my car on a ride pulled over with his foot on the brake and one on the gas he jurked my car really hard trying to say it was the motor mounts then started asking me about my personal relationship. Discussting, yuk

My Brother in Law took his car here to get the transmission fixed and Hector told him that he had warranty for 90 days after a week it started leaking and then after that completely went out he had already charged him 1500$ and when he told him it broke he didn t want to fix nor replace without paying an other 1500$ very dishonest man

One star for giving me a ride to my house. Other than that you can expect to be lied to and tricked into getting more work done on your vehicle. Dont waste your time here like I did. Go to aamco

We took our Nissan in to get a price on a catalytic converter repair ,we got a quote of $300.00 & our ac was to be fixed,when the day came to get the work done the price went up to $1000.00 .When we went to pick it up the only thing he got half asked done was the ac & he wanted a additional $900.00.WHAT A RIPOFF & HE SURE ISNT A MAN OF HIS WORD
