I overslept for my appointment and they were so nice and let me still come in. The ladies working there were super sweet, quick and caring. Tires were done within an hour and it was a great experience. I ordered the tires online and had them shipped to the store. It was easy and convenient.

It's one of the best walmart auto care centers we have ever been to. We had an emergency oil change, and they got us in and out (with 4 other people ahead of us) in an hour. We were traveling across the country with a trailer, 4 crazy kids in the car, and they helped us with everything. Thanks guys! If we're ever in Bakersfield again, which we will, we will definitely be back. - Jon, Mitchie, & the 4 heathens.

Make sure your wheels are on the vehicle when u have an appointment for new tire installation, because if u carry your wheels in for new installation they will cancel your appointment and add u as a walk-in no appointment and may have to wait hours. Tried calling days before my appointment and was never able to get an answer.

Bought new tires, but during checkout there was a glitch in the technology which resulted in an overcharge. Pointed it out to manager Roseanne and she took care of the problem 'toot sweet'. BTW the set of Goodyear tires was 15% less than anywhere else in town.

Had oil changed didn't mark the mileage nor change air filter said out of stock when look in store floor shelves was full of filters left oil hand prints all over outside and interior of car

I went here for the first time recently to have my car's oil changed because their prices are low. When I got there it didn't appear that it was very busy and I checked my car in and the person working told me it would be an hour wait. I agreed to wait and obviously I had to wait in the store for this amount of time. After over an hour, I go to check and see if my car is ready and they don't even have my car being worked on yet. They tell me there's 2 more people ahead of me. What they told me would be a 1 hour wait turned out to be 3 hours of waiting and I even witnessed a customer that was before me end up asking to get his keys back because he didn't want to wait any longer. They are not honest with the wait times. They know better than we do how long it should really be. The lower prices aren't even worth it to me at that point. It was a very miserable wait for an oil change that only takes 30 minutes to achieve.Service: Oil change

I always get my tires here at Walmart! Cheapest prices and never had an issue with them. I bought the warranty that protects my tires from damages. I believe they offer lifetime balancing and tire rotation if you purchase the tires here at walmart. I bought all 4 tires installed and with protection for under $300!!! Can't beat that price!

I called rn at 2:50pm 8.16.23 for automotive ( being very specific in time so y all know who to talk to and put her in her place ) to ask about the prices and the lady on the phone was extremely rude didn t give a full response spoke to damn fast and hang up. So much for customer service no wonder why y all have a 2 star rating

Best battery you can buy for a car. I researched this back and forth. They have the freshest most powerful batteries for your car. Most importantly at the lowest price. They install it also checking your wiring and alternator.

The had the tires I wanted for a decent price , it took longer then expected for just 2 tires. I was mostly disappointed in the customer service I received by the lady at the counter . In my opinion just by the tires and find someone local to put them on for youService: TiresService: Tires

This store is very clean and the guy who helped me was great . I got the right battery and was on my way fast and easy. The service guys were fast and friendly. Much better then Walmart on east side . .

After waiting in line for 10 minutes, they refused to check my batteries (Everstart, under warranty), because I wouldn't commit perjury for them by signing a tablet that says I have reviewed and understood the Customer Service Agreement, which they refused to provide me.Definitely not worth the 45 minute drive to get to this location.

My wife took our 2016 sedan in for an oil change. I received a call later stating that I needed a new battery. I told the lady that I would like to check the battery myself. I arrived with my digital multimeter and was referred to the service technician. He said that I needed a new battery because it wouldn't start after performing services on it. When I asked what the voltage readings were he said he didn't check it. He also stated that they had to push the car out into the parking spot. I tested the battery, it was low and asked if he could give me a jump. I tested the battery again after the jump start and it was fine. The battery had never done this. It's been 3 weeks since the incident and it hasn't happened either. I waited this long to write this review because I wanted to be absolutely sure that there was nothing wrong with my battery. I will definitely not be bringing my vehicles here anymore.

Everyone giving Walmart tire center a 1 star for there service, the truth is, employees at Walmart don t give a care what you give them, they get paid regardless, as bad as they are, they still get costumers, it s a multibillion dollar company, they don t care.I m typing this while on my way to get new tires from them, I kid you not, it s a habit, Walmart is an addiction.

Went in to have our tires balanced and oil change, and it took them about 2 hours. Got our car back and we took off and the our car felt worse. So we took it to another location and they told us are tires were really off balance like really bad and one of our tires had a big bubble getting ready to pop at any second. So they fixed and the car felt like new. I called Walmart and i was talking to a very rude female by the name of Sabrina i was letting her know what happen and the whole issue and she starts to laugh and says i gotta put you on hold I m busy with a customer and laughs again! Very rude unprofessional no customer service skills what so ever. So i had to call again to speak to the manger by the name of Charles, he seemed really nice and understanding he told me that Walmart has a policy that when they do tire balancing they do not inspect the tires while getting tires balanced which i think is stupid! But whatever now i know not to ever take my car there ever again i do not recommend this place for any services. It would be nice if they explaine what their procedures are before working on your car and taking your money. I did get refunded my money back tho!

I was a little worried about taking my car in after reading all the negative reviews but they were great! Yes they take longer than most places but you can t bet the price! And the two guys who helped me were both kind and courteous definitely would take my car again!

I bought some used tires from a shop 3 days prior to visiting Walmart. I didn t like the way they looked so I proceeded to Walmart today, August 5th, 2021. On arrival the customer service was far from great, which is the usual for Walmart. I picked out a brand new seton tires for $552.29. I have them installed and make the cashier aware that I WANT TO KEEP MY OLD TIRES. My old tires probably had roughly 55-60% tread, and I had planned on putting them on my other vehicle. Around an hour later I come back pay, grab my keys, and head back to my vehicle. Took a look in the back and sure enough my old tires are not in the vehicle. I walked back into the automotive department cashier area to notify them that I stated I wanted to keep my old tires, and that they are not in the bed of my truck. The techs then got involved and said they were being loaded onto a truck for disposal around 50 feet away from the automotive entrance. No effort was made to recover the tires while the truck was still there, and soon enough the truck was finished loading and left. They notify me that the truck had left and they have no way to contact the driver, and of course couldn t get ahold of the manager either. They offered to give me a free oil change (which I don t need for another 2,000 miles), or give me a $40 gift card. Neither one of those is going to cover the $400+ I will have to spend on tires for my other vehicle. On top of that, they charged me for new valve stems when the ones on it were practically new from less than a week ago. I gave Walmart the benefit of the doubt, and assumed they would do a decent job since they are a chain. Yet it s Walmart and I shouldn't have expected anything good from Walmart. I will never return here for any type of automotive service.Service: Tires

Very rude staff! Using words like "hurry up" "were waiting on you to hurry up" are not how you're supposed to talk to a customer! They literally had me looking for my own tire in the tire section, I was the first person In line but was told to go look for my tire on the clearance section. Meanwhile 3 customers got helped before me. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

I waited for about 15 minutes, I understood holiday weekend, and the woman at the autocenter was going as fast as she can. She was pleasant. My car was done in an hour.

We used to be happy here, today not so much. They deflated our tires from 60 to 35 So now we have to inflate them again and they didn t have tire rotation today. Instead of removing the sticker they placed the new one in the center of the windshield and they didn t and they didn t change the oil change on the dash. The girl told my husband I can show you how to do it,he said I know how to do it but I m paying for a service right?She said oh yeah I see your point. He couldn t find our key and the manager had to come and show him it was in the box and did apologize but we won t be going back unfortunately.

Worst experience ever! I was told the service will take 1 hour or less, They let me waited an hour and half, until I go check on the cashier and found out they can't do the oil change, they didnt bother to give you a phone call, the lady at desk just hand me the key without a word and not even an apologize. Well done I dont know why they still got 2.5 rate, that rate should be lower

Came in for a balance and rotation. Guy that works reception desk has no customer service experience whatsoever. I left my car with them for 20mins and they end up calling me saying they would need to charge me for the service because the rear tires were not covered. I told them that I replaced all 4 of them in this very store, but they had no record of them. They went ahead and comped it because I would had shown them a receipt. That wasn't all though. They didn't finish rotation on the passenger side. They only completed the drivers side. Take your money somewhere else, I only came back to this horrendous place because I paid for the free balance and rotations.

First I called the auto care center and the phone kept ringing and ringing but no one ever answered and I called THREE TIMES with the same results. So I just went down there. Once I got there it took forever to get some help even though there was no one else in the auto care center at the time!

The last two experiences I have had with this location has been very frustrating. I went today and they said it should be 45 minutes or so it took over two hours. This happened the trip before and my wife had a trip that took over three hours. And they lost my keys (adding another 10 minutes. Avoid this place if you value your time, because it clear they don't value their customers time AT ALL.

Terrible. Came in just to get a pit crew oil change and my tires rotated, I was told it would be around an hour - an hour and a half. It too almost 3 hours. Associate at the desk was rude and didn t seem to care whatsoever, and just about every time I look to see what the employees progress on my car was they would just be standing around talking. Seems like there s no quality control here and no supervision from management.
