SHAMEDid not buy original rims here, needed a repair. Had an incident where I cracked my rim, called around Rim Shop had the rim I needed but needed to be ordered. They told me the tire looked good but were going to remove from rim to make sure. Well sure enough the tire is no good have to replace quoted at 240 for just tire. Good thing I had warranty at Walmart, well I took the tire in to get replaced. Turns out the tire is good, it was placed back on truck no problems. So basically Rim Shop told me it was a bad tire when it was perfectly fine. SHAME on u.

5 stars for me. They are the best rim&tire place ever! Quick to get you in,.even if they are swamped. Great selection, BEST value for your $. Decent hard working employees not trying to up sale you but give you good info and options.

NOT RECOMMENDED!! In January 2023, I bought 4 new tires, Hancock. One of the tires has a golf ball size on the side. I called and they told me because I hit something very hard and will not cover by the store warranty. I am the only driver and I do not remember being hit anything hard. So disgusting! What a pile of trash! Please don't go there. It's worth going to get your tires from Sam's Club or Costco.

I gave five stars 3 years ago but now that I look under my bed of my truck these guy have drilled holes in two different spots for my wireless one helper bags. Also cut off my bump stops and didn t clean off the cut marks and didn t paint it so now I have rust on my gram so thanks guys so saying this I wish I would of check it out sooner and went back

BEWARE!! DEFECTIVE RIMS i spent $5000 on some rims & tires here and one of the rims out of nowhere driving down with my kids no more than 50 MPH shuttered this could've have caused a mayor road accident and or result in serious injuries.I took it back to shop & they dont want to be held responsible for the extremely bad quality ! its not worth do not spend your money here !! I want to make all customers out there aware of this people DO NOT BUY from this shop!

Make sure you take a picture of your wheels before they service them. I got my SUV back with all 4 wheels scratched after they replaced all four tires. Also make sure they install the correct wheels, example...I send my wife to get tires on our suv. She returns with passenger car tires!.... Why would you install passenger tires on a heavy truck. I don't think they know the difference between passenger vs light truck tires.... I'm currently waiting for Nacho to answer me back on how he plans to fix my wheels.

Came here today to mount & balance 1 tire. Nacho mounted it pretty quick & then charged me $20. He told me to install the tire in my car I d have to wait 15-20 minutes which I was okay with I got here at 6:00pm I m currently in my car still waiting it s 7:50 pm currently as I m writing this review. It s been approximately 2 hours waiting. I asked one of the guys upfront and he told me to just take it and do it myself. That s how you treat your customers? It s already an inconvenience that I have to wait 2 hours and they want me to go do it myself. I wouldn t mind doing something myself but the whole point of coming here was so they can do the service for me that s what I pay for. Especially if it s just 1 tire it s just 1 tire they can install it in less then 5 minutes. I was here first then the other 3 guys and now I m the last one here & they finally installed the tire after 2 hours of waiting. Never coming back here again. I don t mind waiting but they were basically telling me to leave & go do it myself. I m sure you d agree that s bad customer service

Nacho is a great guy to deal with, it took longer than expected but he alerted me to a few problems that I didn't know about. Got the parts and fixed it, then produced a my son's truck in great shape. Thanks alot!!!

I get all of my tires here. Good prices and good work. They have hard to find sizes and used tires as well. I have been bringing my cars here for a decade.

The shop can do some better service and structure on what customers came in what needs to be done in a timely manner, front desk customer service good but guys doing the service just taking any vehicles that comes in before other customers, i waited for an hr not exaggerating either they back me in under the awning and boxed me in with another vehicle after the hr i told them to move the vehicle I m done waiting needing all 4 new tires, instead of working on my vehicle i counted total of 5 other vehicles getting work done before mines in between the hr i was waiting, yes i understand it s a business and every bit counts but you have a customer wait an hr that need 4 new tires over patching or rotate and balance, after i wanted to leave guy goes by Nacho have other guys jump on my vehicle total of 2 hrs just to get my vehicle done, i will take my business elsewhere in the future 2nd time with bad experiences.RESPONSE TO THE OWNERAfter 5yrs posted someone finally responded, clearly shows how you value customer s reviews and experience, I don t know if it s under new ownership but my review stays the same

I bought 4 new tires for my 4x4 about 2 years ago for a great price and great service. Love the tires and after 2 years of driving they are still doing great. A year ago I bought new tires for my wife's car. Same thing. Great service and tires still doing great. Coming back soon for some upgrades to my 4x4. Thanks guys

They have a big selection of rims and tires however I personally don't like the idea of paying more money then what something is worth.. And that's what happens when you lease the rims and tires. For instance if you pick out four tires worth 560.00 you will end up paying close to eleven hundred dollars ; if you lease them and make payments every two weeks..No thank you

Had a bent wheel, called these guys up and was not disappointed! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Price for the repair was very reasonable. They have a huge selection of rims and tires and can order just about anything if they don't have exactly what you're looking for. To be honest, the area that they are in looks somewhat run down and their building and yard might scare some people off because it's not a fancy storefront. Don't let appearances scare you off. I'll definitely be going back.

Cracked my rim on my way down from NorCal to LA and was losing air fast. The rims for my BMW are ~$700 each and hard to find. Got recommended to come here by a local tire shop because it'd be much cheaper to get the rim repaired than a new one, so I did. Got here at about 2, they were super busy and wouldn't have normally helped but after I told them my situation, they were able to take me in same-day.They told me in advance that with these kinds of rims, they are prone to cracking again and that I should get a new rim when I can, but I told them to go ahead because I just wanted to get home. They took my car back and after a few hours, they were done! The rim was able to hold air and that's all I needed. And, $90 is way cheaper than the $700 I'd pay for a new one. That was 3 months ago and their repair job is still holding up perfectly.Because I'm not local, I can't tell anyone I know personally to go there so I thought I'd write this review for them at least. They went out of their way to take me in and help me out that day, and if I lived in the area, I'd always come back here for any job. Everyone here was very kind and helpful, I wish I'd remembered their names so I could name each one individually. Either way, these guys are 100% legit.

This isn't a real rating but most of what I see are bad reviews. Was looking forward to going hereUpdate I went here talked to Victor, gave me a great deal. Although my tpms light is on and he said it shouldn't come on overall I'm satisfied I should have gotten 22" but he said they would rub

These guys are the best ! Nacho has hooked me up with the best tires and rims for my ford trucks. Custom work is their specialty. Raised trucks with big rims and tires is what they do best. Nacho has years and years of experience knowing what will work and what won't. What looks good and still rides. He will help guide you through this customization of your vehicle.Their service is excellent. The availability and selection is beyond compare. If he doesn't have it he can order it and have it there often in the next day. His pricing is always competitive and often the lowest in town. As a Google guide level 7,I highly recommend you buy your tires and rims from THE RIM SHOP you won't be disappointed.

These guys are super greedy. I got wheels and tried done by them for my truck. They did not give me the lock nut key that comes with the wheel set. Came back to get it because my wheel weights fell off. Homeboy charged me 30 dollars to give me my key that came with my set. Very greedy and poor service. 0 star

The people are helpful however if you buy wheels and tires make sure and I repeat make sure you check the tires before you leave. I've bought sets from this place 2 times and they got me both times. They will give you tires you never heard of, best bet is to buy the wheels and go somewhere else to get tires. You can probably get wheels online for a lot cheaper. I bought my wheels w god knows what tires for $1800 however a few weeks later I found the same wheels for $1300. They also take forever, you gotta stay on top of them. Don't leave your car there expecting it to be done. I've seen numerous customers causing a scene.

If you want to waste 1,500 and have the worst transaction in your life go see nacho. He s great at taking your money just to say he can t get the rims he ordered for you won t give your money back for his mistake. Then proceeded to give you the wrong size tires and rims that were not the right brand or style. The whole transaction was horrible spent all this money for nothing wrong rims, and wrong tires not sure if I would even call this a rim shop. Horribly ran he is NACHO friend and will rip you off 10/10 don t recommend the headache! Also he recommended one of the workers don t work on my car cause he s not that good and doesn t want him to scratch the rims

Spent 1,600 on my new wheels, mounting took 4 hours.. and i waited there. When I got my new rims I took a close look and they all were bent. They are aluminum but this is a wheel shop they should know what they doing lol. Selling new wheels bent. All these comments are not false, if you can AVOID coming here do so

Awesome, family-owned place! Very polite and attentive. I got a full set of brand new tires for only $300. Great place. Speak to Rick, everyone there is helpful and awesome, but Rick was the guy who helped me, and he was great!

Nocho is the man, first time at The Rim Shop, service was excellent and quick even given the influx of customer traffic. Got 4 new tires at a great price and Nacho even went above and beyond to get me back on the road safe and in style. After the world class service I received from the crew at The Rim Shop, I wont be going anywhere else in Bakersfield for my future needs. Thank you guys!

Great tire prices but poor installation service!Got 4 new tires installed today and 2 of my perfect condition rims are now scratched up and ding up due to this. Would recommend watching them when installing new tires.

Got my rims and tires here. Okay price for service received. First they put on the wrong rims for my car, then changed them and put on the wrong tires when I paid for Goodyear tires they instead gave me delinte and said they can give me extended warranty to justify it. Then when It came to rotate the tires, they were way over torqued. The "techs" at this shop do not know what a torque wrench is apparently and damaged my threads. If you get tires here watch the guys so they don't hammer away with their impacts.
