The spot I always go to! I have been going here for almost 3 years now and I doubt I will stop anytime soon. Great mechanics Willy, Steve, and the crew. Great customer service. That's my 96 chevy caprice in the picture.

It s very hard to find honest mechanics but S&S will always be the ones I would trust to work on my cars and also their price a very reasonable. I had them swap a 6spd trans on a v8 Lexus 3yrs ago and still going strong since then with no issues. It ll be my first go to shop for any future problems

DO NOT GO HERE! I paid $900 for my gasket /coolant leak to be FIXED ! Waited 2 months to gather the money while my car sat. Get my car back with the same problems , take it back, they say the motor has been blown out I asked why I wasn t informed before I paid the $900 to get it fixed and in willies words we just made it driveable mind you, I am a single mother of a 8month old child. Now NO transportation, because they wanted $900.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH OF GOOD THINGS ABOUT THESE GUYS! These guys are the absolute best repair shop in Bakersfield! We have used their service on our volkswagon beetle for over 2 yrs now and won't trust anyone else with our car! They aren't like other mechanics who give you a long list of things that are wrong that you really don't need done yet to gouge you for money, they tell you only what's truly wrong and the prices for parts and labor could not be any more better or more fair! Trust me when I say take your car to these guys, you will be glad you did!Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Great experience! work was completed on time and final price was not only reasonable but matched the price quoted . Automatic window motor was fixed and motor mount for the engine was replaced. Knowledgeable mechanics, honest business. Couldn't ask for more

I have brought my older car here for several issues over the past 2 years. I have every confidence in their ability and honesty. They have actually told me when it was safe to wait a bit on repairs. That is very much appreciated as I am on a fixed income. Good, honest, quality work. Prices are honest and reasonable. Other shops charge two to three times as much for half the quality - I know I've had to deal with some short-cut taking mechanic shops. I would trust other family members' cars to this shop. Can't say that honestly about too many places these days.

Great price! Done Quickly! I had to have my alternator replaced on my Vw beetle. It was done within a few hours and runs great! They are very fair and trustworthy and I recommend them to anyone in need of auto repairs! I wont go anywhere else but here! Update: Had more car problems these guys fixed it and it was ready the same day! Very fair priced and I cant say enough good things about this place!

Super Great work! I had taken the car previously to G&G Auto Repair, where I totally wasted thousands of $$$$ dollars! My engine light was coming on...and G&G just kept suggesting more and more repairs, finally suggesting a complete valve job. I had it towed to S&S, where they said with the high mileage (almost 300,000) already on the car, a valve job would NOT be recommended! It would likely cause issues to arise in other areas of the engine that old. S&S suggested replacing the engine. I WISH I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT MY CAR TO S&S FIRST! I wasted time and money at G&G. I went from 300,000 to 90,000 miles on my Toyota. THANK YOU S&S!!! My car passed smog without any issues, and runs great.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This is a Family Business which often time offers more personal services. And that is the case here. Very knowledgeable in their work. And very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them for your automotive repairs!
