From the moment I called this establishment, they were nothing but helpful. Julie is such a kind and sweet lady who helped me with every single issue that I had and there were a few. I probably had called 15 other shops and none of them wanted to help. Finally got in touch with this shop and Julie was quick, helpful and all around a pleasure. With 2 text messages and a picture we were rolling. The shop helped me with all of the insurance and took care of everything. Steven was on the insurance like white on rice and made sure things kept moving. I received calls at least twice a week to update me on what was going on and what was still needed. I was never in the dark about anything going on. I can t recommend this place enough. Give them a call. You won t regret it !!Thanks guys. The flex is back on the road !!

The belt tensioner broke on my F-150, and I needed the repair done that day to get to work the next morning. I got the truck to them by 11 am, after I had verified with them in a phone call that they could fix it that day.I called about 3 pm and they still hadn t fixed it, because they said they didn t have the parts. I had already researched the parts and knew where I could immediately pick them up, so I asked if they could get it done if I brought them the parts, but in the midst of the conversation they said the parts arrived.They insisted on replacing the belt, claiming that it was torn, but I insisted on keeping the old belt. It looks perfect (much better than the belt they installed, which looked worn from the start). When I showed the old belt to the mechanic he admitted that he couldn t see anything wrong with it.They did finish the repair that same day, just before closing time. But they did more than what I approved and charged me much more for the parts than I could have paid.In comparison, the identical problem happened two years ago when we were traveling through Georgia. Thankfully that time the shop got us back on the road in an hour and charged us $150 (less than half what I paid this time).I m still dealing with the aftermath of this repair, as some new issues might be related. I knew it didn t sound right the moment I drove away but I really didn t want to deal with them anymore, and I figured they wouldn t want to deal with me either, as it had seemed that I was imposing on them to try to get them to get it done that day.

I was travleing with my family from Sacramento to Palm Springs. About an house from Bakersfield my battery light came on. I called an auto repair place but they did not have time today but recomended Rosedale Automotive.Kristen and her creo were able to complete the repair quicker that I had anticiparted. Very impressed.If I lived in Bakersfield they would be my car repair place.Thank you!

Recently had work done on my 2009 for flex. Had some radiator fan replaced and the module. Work was done quickly and price was fair. Was kept up to date on repairs, so if more work was needed i would be informed. Definitely will be back here for future auto repairs.

The service advisors were very friendly and up front about everything. Communication after drop off was great!! This place was recommended by a different shop we went to and they didn't disappoint. They are honest and priced right. When we need repairs in the future this is where we will be going.

Fast and friendly and let me tell you.. it was the fastest smog test I ever got.. to me it felt like a blink of an eye. We got there early and it paid off. They took care of business and didn't mess around. Their prices were fair and since they are just literally down a few blocks from where I live it was the perfect place to go. Everything worked out fine and I passed my smog test and had all my paperwork sent off to renew my tags for 2021.. So THANK YOU ROSEDALE AUTOMOTIVE for the wonderful service and fast no nonsense business. I will definitely be coming back here next time my smog is due in another 2 years.. This place is great ..

Amazing service!! Have already told everyone I know of my experience with Bruce and his wife.I encountered Rosedale Automotive when I needed an Interstate car battery after Costco did not have any in stock. Knowing that I never return the core I elected to have Rosedale Automotive replace my battery for me. As I quietly waited in the lobby I overheard Bruce s wife go over the billing for a repair on a Corvette. The quoted price was much higher than what the customer ended up being charged because Bruce asked for a few quoted items to be removed from the bill since the Vette did not need such recommend services. I was SHOCKED!! This is the last honest mechanic anywhere and I have found him!I have another positive encounter with very similar result but I don t want to make the review too long. A++ out of 5

We have taken both my husband's truck and my car here, and they have always worked quickly and do great work! They are so honest- Bruce told me after looking at my car that the brakes would probably last another 6 months or so before they really needed work, so he gave the car back to me with no charge whatsoever! A great team of people, highly recommended.

I took my dad's truck in to have it looked over for a cross country trip. My husband spoke to the mechanic who checked over the truck . My husband felt the mechanic was very knowledgeable and honest. My husband is an ag mechanic. So his opinion of another mechanic was important to me. Also while I was in the office all of the people were extremely helpful and nice. I'll definitely be back! Very honest and the price is right. I have had my share of wondering if I'm paying for something I don't really need or not getting what I paid for. Just moved here from Oregon and thought the brakes were shot. Took the car in for repair and to my surprise the owner lady told me they were fine and there was no charge for checking them. Plus, she gave me and my daughter a ride home when we dropped the car off. Moving to new city can be daunting but with people like these guys not taking advantage of the situation makes you appreciate the fact that people with integrity and honesty still do exist. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get some car work done.

Honest and fair prices. Very pleased with their work on my car. There was an issue with my car that could have been extremely expensive to fix. They found the real reason my car was acting up and it cost very little to fix. The honesty will make me a returning customer.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They called around and got a cheaper price on a part. Got the truck done when they said they would. So far so good. I recommend this shop.

The owner Bruce accused me of lying to him about a replacement exhaust part during a smog check. My stock part had a catalytic converter go bad and I was sure to get a cheaper aftermarket one that included the catalytic converter for hundreds extra. Even after explaining my situation, Bruce said, "I was not born last night...ext," and preceded to ask me whether I purchased a 1k dollar or 3k dollar performance package from an aftermarket company. I did neither of these as I already told him I replaced the part with an aftermarket item and was under the impression at the time that a catalytic equipped pipe was what I needed to pass emissions. The other modification Bruce claimed I lied about is a non-emissions related boost selionoid controller that I was told at the time of purchase was a more efficient part compared to the factory version. The point I'm making is that I never intended to deceive anyone as I was told incorrectly by another shop that my replacement parts would pass emissions testing. All Bruce needed to say was, replace these things with the factory parts and the car can be tested. Instead, I was called a liar and not to ever return to his business. I am giving 2 stars since he did not charge me for failing the test, but it was a uncomfortable situation to be called a liar in front of my son and I did not know how to respond to the accusation that I purposely illegally modified my cars emissions system. Let this be a warning to others that this is not a man that will give you the 'benefit of doubt' even if you did try to play by the rules.

Rosedale Automobile takes care of you. Reasonable pricing, ethical workmanship, friendly staff, knowledgeable mechanics. Everyone is always looking for a good mechanic, well look no further. Yea I took my Nissan Titan I'm to these guys big brand sent me over there and I really like big brand but they only do external work , so they sent me to Rosedale automotive ,they fixed my truck and did an excellent job , my truck is be ack down again with the same prob but I'm pretty sure these guys did everything they could , don't go to Pacific tire what ever u do , come see these guys you'll thank yourself in the long run,thanks Rosedale auto

In 2012 me and my two brothers where driving from California to Oklahoma where we live and we lost the timing belt in my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant and bent the second cylinder valve the mechanic there was able to replace the timing belt and the sensors and get my car running again. It was a speedy repair and my car was able to get us all the way home I want to Thankyou Rosedale Automotive for getting me and my brothers home and for they work you have put onto my car which now has over 300,000 miles on it.
