Unexpected detour on the 223 in the middle of nowhere and had to call AAA. Precision towing responded a half hour earlier than expected. The ride was very comfortable and Erik was very cool and helpful, super friendly and drove perfectly. I would definitely recommend these guys. Heroes in the heat!

I have been going here for 3 years with my bmw 435i GC. Nothing less than phenomenal is how I would describe this business. I got a quote from the dealer and these guys beat the price by $700 and I got the car back in well under 24 hours. I have never had service like that anywhere. Excellent communication as well. Liz is great.My wife has a business and when I got home I told her now these guys do great invoices! I ve never seen an invoice so clear. It s clear and festive for the holiday season and has a bmw logo in the background, and it s very easy to read which is rare on an automotive invoice. I wish every business was as awesome as these guys.German cars are what they specialize in, BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche.

I had an old motor that was on its last leg so I took my car to precision for a motor swap. They sourced, and replaced the motor for me. They made sure I was always up to date with what was being done to my car. They also brought other issues I don't even know about to my attention and always asked me if I wanted the other problems fixed before starting on the extra work. The staff is professional and friendly. They did great work on the car and it runs great now thanks to them. They're honest, up front with you, and provide excellent customer service. I can't thank them enough for getting me back on the road again! Liz and her husband were GREAT! Let me start off by saying I am not from Bakersfield. My Mini broke down on the grapevine and I relied solely on customer reviews to decide where to have my car towed. Precision Automotive took care of me right away. Their sense of urgency was amazing. They were very detailed in their explanation of what they were going to do to my vehicle and the total cost. Their price was reasonable and their service was exceptional. I highly recommend them!

We were traveling through from Oregon to Texas when our '63 MGB starter failed and we were referred to Bill & Liz by both a competitor and a parts dealer. First, they were very kind. Very understanding. And Very patient with us. Bill and his team were responsive and communicated clearly. They provided an accurate estimate in advance, and worked hard to get us back on the road as their priority. The reassuring way they communicated along with the way they expressed empathy combined to create a sense of trust in them and in their work. Their repair work was excellent, and we completed our trip without another problem. As an automotive repair shop owner in Fort Worth, Texas, I appreciated and was inspired by their service.

I had a Mini Cooper Clubman that I really enjoyed driving. When repairs were necessary on my Cooper, I first took it to BMW for help and that was a very bad decision. I searched for another means for service and I found the team at Precision Automotive. They made each visit very comfortable and pleasant. Repair or service was explained thoroughly and they kept in touch frequently. On one instance they went beyond what was expected and I was very thankful. Highly recommend this company.

Bill, Liz, Rob and all the Precision team have always been open friendly and professional. Actually, professional is almost not good enough to describe them. Bill has gone over and above in his work exploring the issues that have occurred in my two Mercedes. I strongly recommend him and his team to anybody. As long as you have a German car.

The service I've received at Precision Automotive on multiple occasions the past 12 months has been outstanding!Rob and the other staff members have been courteous, honest, and they are my go-to for anything involving maintenance/repairs on my BMW.I feel relieved knowing that there is a local, trustworthy establishment that I can rely on to professionally handle any issues that I, myself, am unable or unwilling to handle (I do a lot of DIY on my 325i and my Miata).Speaking from my experience--if you have a BMW, don't hesitate to reach out to them for service. I would trust them for other European car brands, as well.Support awesome local, small businesses like Precision! Avoid the "stealership", if you can!Service: General repairs & maintenance

They were very knowledgeable and helpful with the issue with my car. They also found something else that may end up being a big problem. I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of, which is a common feeling when it comes to taking your car in somewhere for something you have no idea about. Only downside was they are very busy, but it's good because it lets you know how popular and well known they are. When they got to my car they got it done quickly.

I've taken my WV GTi and my BMW 528 to this shop and have had the very best experiences! I highly recommend Bill, as he is a super technician, business person, and all round nice guy. Dealing with Bill, Liz, and the crew at Precision Automotive has been a real pleasure. I will continue to use their services in the future.

Liz and Bill really took the time to take care of us when our car broke down in Bakersfield. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, and even though we decided to trailer the car home to our mechanic, Liz still went out of her way to help me find a rental car and even drove me there herself! They really helped to make our experience as stress-free as possible. Great customer service!

10/10 experience. Bill is a super nice guy, and very knowledgeable about VW's. I showed up without calling ahead, and they had my car out ASAP. Super nice people, Liz and Bill answered any questions I had, and made the whole experience great. My new go to shop for any VW needs.

After reading reviews I decided to go to precision. It was a good experience because I didn't feel nervous about there being a lack of integrity. I was made to feel like a friend. And at the end I was charged have the price I was quoted. I believe I found my new mechanic shop to take my VW beetle.

I would recommend this shop for any of your German car needs/repairs. The shop is very professional and the staff made me feel welcomed. Customer service is very important to me. That along with quality service will always make me return and let family and friends know also. Greets you with a smile and goes completely over your invoice by detail and let's you know what is more important. Number 1 service in my book in kern county.

I had a problem with another shop in bakersfield so I gave these guys a hard time like asking for the old parts and questioning their decisions. In the end, were pretty honest and I recommend them. Integrity is the most important thing in a mechanic and they seem great for the best that I can tell.

My xperience with the folks at Precision Auto was amazing. They were ready for me at my appointment time when I dropped off my 2008 Jag XJ. They found the problem with the air springs and shopped around to get the best deal and quality on the parts. The car had an extended warranty that had not been transferred from the previous owner so they wenr out of their way to deal with the warranty company to make sure they covered everything but my deductible. The car was ready when promised. I have never met a friendlier or more knowledgable mechanic shop and I am very grateful to have found them.

After being told by the AAA technician that my car needed a new alternator I searched around a few places to see where I ought to take the car for service. Luckily I found Precision! Towed the car in - and a few hours later they called to say their diagnostics showed it was only the battery that needed replacing! Saving me hundreds - you can depend on it - I've found my new mechanics and recommend them wholeheartedly.

They are honest and don't have to pay for things that you don't need done. They are very professional and they act like they have known you for a long time. It has a family atmosphere. I have found a place to take my car to be repaired.

Bill took a look at my car with a last minute phone call, and he was exceptionally honest about what was wrong. Even though he spent over 45 minutes researching the issue, he didn't charge me a dime. You can't find honest mechanics like this anymore! Thanks Bill!
