Poor service on my car. Had them fix my horn to it breaking again within the week. Definitely would not recommend

Great mechanic and very fair price. Came in to get my water pump replaced. Very fast fix and the guy at the front desk was very welcoming. I recommend this place to anyone who needs work done.

My son was traveling out of state and his car broke down late on a Friday afternoon but Danny was able to squeeze him just before closing. He was able to diagnose the problem and get him back on the road, allowing my son to reach his destination on time. So very appreciated. If they give this kind of service to an "out of towner", then I'm sure their even more reliable for regulars!Service: Auto maintenance

This place is in no way a performance shop. Tried getting a quote over the phone but he wanted to see the vehicle, which is understandable. He never gave me a quote and after his mechanic messing with a few things over a a couple days and really doing nothing I was charged $1000 or he was going to keep my vehicle. Danny seems to be nice but this is just another one of his failed business s. Should of known when I walked in and seen a bunch of old karate equipment he use to sell. They may do basic repairs but this is in no way a mechanic shop.

Rebuilt the differentials on my Bronco, installed new gears bearings ect.Quality repairs. Thanks Danny good to meet you I'll be back.

Good, down to earth, solid, and honest people who care. I can't thank the guys at this shop enough. They helped me with my vehicle that I purchased to get ready for smog and to help with stuff that I just didn't understand because of this being my first luxury vehicle. They don't try to pull the wool over your eyes an genuinely treat you as an old friend that they want to help. Thanks again performance automotive! Keep up the great work! you are a rare find and I am glad I went to you for my car needs.

2nd time with this shop, and each time I have left happy. Relaxed and friendly staff. Helped with a starter issue the first time. Just recently fixed an exhaust issue/damage because of someone s failed attempt to steal my catalytic converter. Not sure what Dan and the crew did, but my car runs smoother than it did before I brought it in.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance

excellent customer service, and great mechanics/specialists. took my 99 dodge ram 5.9 turbo diesel pilot escort vehicle to them for a power steering system repair, they were able to handle it the same day to ensure i could continue working on the next, as they knew i was from out of town and laying over for the one day. Perfect service in my opinion thank you very much.

I wouldn t go anywhere else. They found the root of my problem and then fixed it at a reasonable price. I was out of their business in a very short time. Excellent service and they really showed me that they cared. Will definitely continue to do business with Performance Automotive.

I broke down in my Mercedes clk350 outside of Bakersfield on a Saturday bad fuel pump. Performance was basically the only shop open which turned out to be a great thing. Danny is very professional and easy to deal with . Price was fair and work was completed in a timely manner as promised. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a new mechanic in the Bakersfield area.

Performance Automotive was recommended to me by USAA and I am so glad they sent us here! We are traveling to Disney and in less than a few hours they had our Radiator and thermostat replaced. He even gave us a military discount for my Active Navy son who is with us!Service, personality and price these guys hit it out of the park!

This has been my shop and Danny has been my mechanic for over 10 years. It really comes down to trust. Danny gives a quote and sticks to it. He fixes things right and stands by the repairs. 5 Stars.
