Flakes. I had to call them numerous times to keep appts and call back. They still were supposed to bring parts to wife s house. She said forget it. They fixed it , but they were shady.

Dealt with them a few times recently and they are always friendly and helpful. Great prices compared to other shops in town and consistently provide quality work. If you don't mind venturing into the dale it will be worth the trip! Always something interesting to see! Give the shop cat a scratch too if you see him .

I brought my sliding glass door to them and it was repaired while I waited in about 30 min. A full glass replacement was performed on the sliding panel due to a bad seal and we could not see through the glass. The craftsmanship was excellent and lower priced than other glass shops in town. I would highly recommend oildale glass. This is actually the second time they helped me, years ago I was using a weedwacker and a rock went through the sliding glass door (different house). They repaired it same day with the same excellent quality.

I was just a missed call for this company. And whoever the gentleman was called me back and asked if I needed help They unfortunately couldn't help me because they no longer do car glass but he was kind of enough to give me some suggestions on who I should call to me that was definitely good customer service especially since I was just a missed call.

Took a week longer to order the glass than I was told. Then I was told it only takes 20 min. To fix but it took 3 & a half hours. I was told to come by in 30min and it would be done. I came in 45min later and they finally started to fix my window. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

I ordered a replacement double pane window glass from them. They made sure to put double sided tape to make it stick and explained how to remove the old glass and install the new one. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Good folks.

Oildale glass has been in business for years and helped our family out with many projects . Very friendly, professional and whiling to help you any way possible. Just sad to hear they will no longer install windshields in our OLD cars 1965 and older but were still customers for life !

We bought a home and the previous owners had already paid for the glass to be fixed. And the company was there within a day or so. And they did an excellent job!

I'm sure it's a great place and the lady there was very polite but they were $75 higher than Action Glass. I still support local businesses.

I wouldn't waste your time contacting Oildale Glass (OG). I should have trusted my initial response with them following the phone call but they were referred by a local wrought iron business and I little experience with local glass companies. I contacted OG to place glass into 2 wrought iron gates. The preference was for decorative-tempered glass. when the owner came out to measure I was told the gates needed to be redone because they would not accommodate any glass. (They were in fact redone to his specifications without a charge to me). I was then told there were no glass vendors that would make large enough sheets of decorative tempered glass so I regretfully agreed to plain glass. I also asked him to look at my 4 large patio windows for replacement glass. Without hesitation, "he could not replace the patio windows because they were too large," so that was the end of that inquiry.Once the gates were reinstalled to his specifications, and for that I am grateful, I waited to hear from OG as they had already taken a pattern, quoted a price for the glass that I had agreed to but no call. I then contacted them after two weeks and was told the owner was on the phone and would call me back. Crickets! This project for the glass began in May with the redelivery in mid-June. I've wasted a lot of time waiting on OG for a product that wouldn't have been my 1st choice. Good news: I did find a local company that is placing tempered decorative glass and they are able to replace my patio windows. Lesson learned, call around and find the company that wants your business and is responsive to their customers "reasonable" requests.

They were so accomodating. Put a new piece of glass in a door and we picked it up the same day. Very nice people too!

I put my knee through a window at my girlfriend's house. Taking off work would have been difficult, but I managed to convince my boss to let me go, if needed. I called Oildale Glass after getting the permission to leave work for an appointment, and the people at Oildale Glass suggested that they might be able to do the work without me present, because the particular window pain was accessible from the outside of the house. Several hours later, I got a photograph sent to my phone of the finished work, and they let me pay over the phone by debit card. I couldn't be happier! Not only did the window get fixed fast, but it did not require my involvement at all, on account of Oildale Glass's willingness to investigate the problem before requiring my assistance. Love it!
