Honesty is almost a thing of the past but not here!! I had ran over an already dead dog and it broke off a bracket that held my muffler. It caused the noise of the engine to become intense inside the car. We called and the nicest man told us to bring it in. He replaced the bracket at no charge instead of trying to make money off of us by saying I needed to replace the muffler or charge an outrageous price!!! I definitely will go back and will recommend this to anyone!!

The service manager and techs are by far the most honest group of people I've met as mechanics. They advised me of everything I needed to know and provided very fair estimates on repairs. If you are having car issues I would highly recommend stopping by here first to get your honest opinion. I know from the way they treat you that your car or truck would be held to the upmost respect.

Management is always changing. I was sold a $300 tire, and the manager at the time Daniel took the warranty off the tire without my permission. The tire is still new and I was just informed since March they no longer repair tires and if it is non repairable I lose $300 because the warranty was removed to make it cheaper when I was not informed of that. I would never spend that much without a warranty. Terrible deceiving service. I've been bringing all my cars here for over 3 years and I've reached my limit with them. Not my first problem, they've lost my business.

Went in for a standard oil change. Literally watched one mechanic rip the side skirt off my van by neglecting to remove the wooden blocks they use on the lift arms before yanking the arm out from under the vehicle. Watched a second mechanic try to pound the piece back on with the side of his fist. When the van came around, I inspected the piece to find they had broken the retention clips in their efforts to pound the piece back on. Called the manager over, and he said they'd "take care of us." Waited several days and called. The manager, "Steve," advised me he's "too busy running his business" to deal with this. Called the Operations Manager, Chris Perkins, who told me he'd get the issue resolved. Several weeks went by, and I called back in to find that their ops manager is no longer employed by the company. Tried contacting the owner. Never available by phone. Finally got the local guy Steve to arrange for repairs at a local shop. Waited to hear back from the shop for a week, and finally called them. Parts are in, but no rental has been arranged. Called the owner's office again. Not available. Message taken. Get a call two days later from Steve saying we're on our own for rental. To submit a receipt, and we "might" get reimbursed by the owner, but he's not going to put a rental on his card. It's been over a month. So...they broke it. They weren't going to tell me about it. Can't be bothered to resolve, and want me to pay out of pocket for a rental that I absolutely need to take my one son to and from school and to transport my other son with complex medical issues to and from appointments and treatments.

Will never go there again BEWARE they do bait and switch tacit, just imagine what else they would be dishonest about if I had other work done there.First off, the reason I went there was b/c someone told me they got their new battery & installation for under a $100. So I called ahead to the Midas on Aubern and told the guy the make and model of my car (if that made a difference on the pricing). The guy told me $80 for the battery & $15 to install it. I figure that's good and comparable to O'Reily's & AutoZone who both sold their batteries for $104. However when I got to Midas on Aubern, I felt they did a bait and switch tacit. The guy charged me $94 for battery & $30 for installation, that's over what I had expected to pay. I just wished they were more honest over the phone b/c the pricing they gave me is what lead me to go to them over the other auto shop I checked out. Also they didn't give me my old battery, I could've taken it to O'Reilys who would've given me $ for recycling it. That was my experience.

I would say, more like a negative -1! We went in for an oil change and there were no cars in the area. They pulled my car in to work on it and I would see it being worked on, then the mechanic disappear..I also seen him and the front desk employee talking on several occasions and not just for a bit. It didn't even seem work related. Even after I told them that I had to be somewhere, when they were "almost" done, they had another chit chat. It seemed that we were put on the back burner because we didn't have the additional work that they suggested done. We Shouldn't have been there Waiting for 2 hours. We should've went to Jiffy next door. Lesson learned!

These guys took care of me in a scary predicament where my battery went out on me while I was driving. Jimmy took one look at it and knew what the problem was immediately, and was able to fix it in far less time than I was expecting. I m grateful they were there to help!

(Auburn St Midas) Terrible incompetent workers, Tried to talk my girlfriend into parts that were not needed, totaling over $900 (they were almost forcing it on her), after I met her there and told them to take the car down and that I wanted none of the services, the guy was extremely rude and a complete prick (pretty sure he was the manager) I went home and did exactly what they were gonna do for $100 and far less time then they were saying it would take them (4 Hrs), obviously trying to get more labor costs out of us. All she went in for were break pads (which was still over $200 alone). I agree with all the bad reviews on here and seen much of it myself and heard way worse horror stories. DO NOT GO HERE- Much better places in town to go to then a crap hole like this. Go to one of the family owned places and don't trust these people with your vehicle

Whatever you do avoid this location. A bunch of scam artist! I brought two vehicles in here and have had issues with both. I originally brought them in to save money avoiding dealership prices. Unfortunately should have avoided them. Got fed up with a recent quote and took to dealership, just to find out this Midas was trying to charge me for parts i didn't need. it makes me question all the work i have had done here over the last 2 1/2 years. I am never going back.

(@Bakersfield,Auburn st))The service guy pulled into the bay, and instead of getting out and adjusting the lift supports- he STOMPED ON THE GAS AND FORCED MY TRUCK IN BETWEEN THE METAL LIFT PODS. MY truck was squished between the metal brackets-- and he was driving over them with the sidewalls of my tires! A THOUSAND DOLLARS OF BRAND NEW TIRES RUINED CAUSE THIS REJECT IS TOO LAZY TO GET OUT AND MOVE THEM!!! Then before I could stop the work, (obviously didnt trust them)- he started to tear apart my air filter case= WHEN THERE IS A GAUGE RIGHT THERE!!....better off to just bring it to a junk yard- they will do the same work for free there!PS,..GO TO JIFFY LUBE THEY ARE RIGHT NEXT DOOR AND WONT RUIN YOUR CAR!!!
