Doing business here was surprisingly pleasant! Bryan and Nick are extremely professional and courteous. They made navigating my car s warranties easy because they did all of that work for me. Repairs were priced reasonably and the turnaround time on labor was fantastic. Communication was perfect. This location is on top of it.The only con that I can think of is the lobby. The lobby could be much better. That s the only so-so experience that I had.

Moved to CA recently. Chose here for oil changes since it was near work. So when my splash guard fell; I took it here bcuz past experiences were good. Fixed it for free ! Friendly, fast, and fair

Went there yesterday to fix my brakes. I signed up for their credit card and don't have to pay until a month from now , with a zero interest for 12 months. That's huge for me . As a mama of three, I don't have the amount just lying around, so this will help me and get me back on the road. Not only that, but they were quick and professional. Brian and his team were so helpful, thorough , and I will definitely be going back here for future work. Highly recommend!

I caution people to go here. Use them at your own risk I had codes that needed to be fixed. They recommended something else (fuel pump replacement) Still engine light was on. Tried to read the codes again by another mechanic in Delano but was not able to because there was wiring issues. Good thing, i screenshot the original codes. It s very suspicious that something like that happened not sure if Midas accidentally broke it or it was intentional. Anyways, we used a mechanic from Delano and everything is now fine. The midas technicians are either too busy and rush their work, they re very incompetent, or i just have bad luck. My question is why couldn t they just fix the engine light codes that my car needed, instead they want to fix something else?? Very weird

Do not bring your car here for an oil change. Especially if you are a woman! They will find a way to sabotage your your engine just to get you to spend and insane amount of money for a problem you didnt have in the first place! Unbelievable!!!

Nick was awesome to work with and explaining issues with vehicle. Repairs were completed in a timely manner. I would recommend anyone looking for great service to check them out! Very expensive! However the customer service is the best I've ever gotten I think. However they did leave the cap off of my brake fluid reservoir.

I've never written a review before (positive or negative), but I felt like I had to today... Had an appointment for 8am on Saturday for an oil change. I brought a coupon we had just been mailed (that will still valid for another 50 days) and they informed me that they could not honor it, they said they did not have/offer conventional oil anymore. I understand the disconnect that can happen between corporate offices and the store locations, but if you advertise something, you need to honor it. Even if it requires offering an upgraded product at the advertised price. They didn't walk me through the pricing details, but said they could do a synthetic blend for $45. Much more than the $20 oil change coupon I had. I went for it to get it over with. 1hr later I ask how much longer, they say another 30min. Then 20 min later I check in, only to find out they don't have my oil filter and are waiting for a delivery. No communication. I tell them I need to go and to put my old filter back in. They did, then gave me a "discount" of $15 for not providing it. I still paid a $5 filter disposal fee, for my old filter they put back in. So $35 and 1-1/2 hours later, I get to leave, and I still have to go buy a filter and put it in myself. The employees were nice and respectable, but the communication and service was not appropriate for a business looking to take care of their customers or wanting to retain them. I unfortunately won't be back to Midas for a long time.Service: Oil change

I had huge discounts when i had my oil change done here. Instead of paying 95 bucks, i ended up paying only 36 bucks. They have huge discounts. T O X I C ! AND THIEVES!I drove there to get a break leak patched. Maybe, new breakpads at most. After their "inspection," they came back with a list of problems for more than $2500.I said I wasn't looking to pay extras, I just wanted the leak patched and maybe one new breakpad (based on their itemized list). Just bare minimum, to keep it drivable.They refused. Said I had to pay for all of it, or they wouldn't touch it. We were at an impass.I paid their high consultation fee, and decided to drive home. Couldn't. My car was no longer drivable. They said they didn't touch it. But my breaks were completely locked now. I couldn't even step on the them. Also my bumper was dislodged.Suddenly all their nice attitudes went away. Denied doing anything.I Drove into Midas, but I had to be towed home. Went to another mechanic, for inspection. They said they could do everything on the Midas inspection list, for $1300 or less.So much for Midas.

I m so appreciative because I came in vulnerable and they didn t take advantage of my situation. I was told the truth and my car was fixed. Horrible experience this place had my oil filter leaking before it was due for an oil change and tried to say it was due for an oil change once i hit the amount of miles for an oil change. Since it leaked all over my drive way but didnt want to take responsibility for it saying it was a default filter but i have changed filters before it was not on tight enough causing it to leak. Which they didnt want to pay for damages and overall made a mess of my driveway. Dont go here if you do you can possibly leave leaking not know it and end up damaging your motor. Please dont go here you are just wasting your money and possibly will end up ruining your car, thanks!So they contact me get my information and tell me there will be a resolution here we are 7 weeks later still no resolution thanks to horrible shops like this I plan to do the work myself from here on out. Still no resolution just to keep everyone updated. And they removed my picture proof what a company thanks guys showing true colors, cons

We have been using Midas for many years, mostly because of the honesty and excellent service Steve provided. We always knew we could trust him 100%. Earlier this week I called and asked for Steve to discuss an issue with my car and the woman who answered the phone told me he had retired. The next day I ran into him out on my errands and found out she had lied to cover up what really happened. I had been working on my DEF system replacing several components. Upon replacing components I had a Service Diesel Fluid System warning light and vehicle was in limp mode. Stopped by the shop and they had the needed scan tool to re calibrate and reset my DEF system. Limp mode was gone. Also, the price for the diagnostic check was significantly less than the dealership. The employees were very knowledgeable and pleasant. Will be back for any future repairs that I can t rectify on my own.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

When Steve is there, they are awesome. However, they did a full brake job 3 months ago. I found the brake hardware falling out during a tire rotation. I took it back for repairs and they refused to warranty anything. They stated that the techs that performed the original work no longer worked there so Midas would not warranty any part of it.Service: Brakes

Walked in with an online coupon for a $29 oil change. Walked out with a $44 bill and a laundry list of suggested repairs. These seemed suspect since I recently changed my own air filter, and just six months ago during an oil change with another name brand service they didn't mention ANY of the suggested repairs.Leaking power steering? Leaking rack & pinion? Leaking engine oil? Front struts seeping? To be sure I was surprised since I haven't seen any fluid under or around my engine.Makes me wonder if the technician really knew what he was doing. Overall, underwhelmed and left with my own 'check engine' light on. . . telling me to be wary of this place.

So i have never liked repair shops for the most part, but i found midas on white ln and was impressed, but only due to Lauren the rep there, as she was honest, polite, and up front and gave me good pricing on an older car that needed some things, and yes it had to come back a few times, but she stayed on it and got it done right, as we need more of her at these service shops in bako!, i will only keep going there too as long as shes there, as others there at the counter were not friendly and acted like robots. I ve been using Steve at Midas for at least a decade. I m an engineer (geek) and do my due diligence when I select a service provider. Steve is honest and will refer me to the dealer if there s something he doesn t feel comfortable with. No good they didn't Repair my vehicle how I told them. They change my battery at the sometime alternator. Now my car is messed up because someone doesn't want to do there job right.. I'm very disappointed. They are charging for some errors they and they messed up radio from vehicle be careful people don't let no use you for anything...
