This place is amazing. Honest work. They serviced my car very good. I recommend to anyone needing good work done by honest mechanics.

It's like getting an apartment with an application fee. They'll definitely charge you the diagnostic fee, but they won't do anything for you. Complete waste of time and money, $130 fee for diagnostics and nothing at all. Other than a, no, we won't help you we dont work on cars previously repaired. IF I WAS TOLD THIS FROM THE START I WOULD HAVE NOT BOTHERED TO THROW GOOD MONEY AWAY. A mechanic that won't work on previously worked on cars I guess they only service brand new cars Now that you've paid a $130. Go away, very unprofessional. Am I wrong that a mechanics shop should be able to repair mechanical issues? Not here. They are a front for diagnostic fees. Total rip off. Never thought a shop that has pictures of hot rods and muscle cars can not repair a honda accord. Because it has coilovers on it and a shock brace as modifications. Unbelievable.

I have an 89 Camaro IROC Z . They are the only people that can touch my car. Even tho I live 100 miles away..that's fine. Do the job right the first time. Prices are inline with out automotive shops.

One of the best Mechanics garage I have found in 20 years. I have 3 older vehicles so they tend to break down often. These folks are the best! I got stranded in Bakersfield, 150 miles from home, due to a transmission issue, and they gave me first priority. The part was delivered in less than an hour, and they had me back on the road in time to get home before dark. Corey was so friendly and kind, she let me bring my dog into the waiting room, and made me feel like they truly cared about my predicament. The cost was totally reasonable, too! Can't say enough nice things about this shop.

My husband and I have used Mark's Automotive since 1997 and have always had a good experience there. We find them to be honest and do not push to repair items that do not actually need to be repaired. We have been to some repairman that are very pushy.They let us know what might need to be repaired in the future which is really good information to have.

I'm not so sure about being as honest as others have said. They marked up the price of the rebuilt alternator they installed by over 100%! They paid O'Reilly's $110 for the rebuilt part but charged me $240. Then they charged another $200 for the labor. I showed them the price at O'Reilly's and all they said was "well that's our price".During check out she lowered the bill. I ended up only being charged $119 for labor. Still think the price was high. The whole bill was $400 plus tax.

Very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and quick turn around. Been taking my classic car and commuter here for several years and they have always provided the best service. Cawney, at the front desk, is very knowledgeable and helpful.

It was wonderful service that is worth every penny. The lady at the front (Kori) was unbelievably accommodating. I could not be more pleased with the price and service they did on my car. I strongly recommend this auto shop for anybody.

Terrible experience I do not recommend. First they charge 100 just to diagnose your . Also the price was double the price of other shops in Bakersfield. Nice people clean place but a lot of people are out of work right now and fror them to over charge is unacceptable I'm sorry

Thank you again Mark's automotive. I don't have to bring my car very often because they FIX my car. Picked up my 10 year old car today and runs like it is new.

Been bringing my cars to this mechanic shop for a while now they're quick fast reliable honest and always seem to have my car fixed I have no complaints nor do I have anything bad to say customer service there is very friendly and I feel like there family I always tell anyone who has mechanical issues to bring their car here Hope this review helps you

Beware a real crook!!! Overcharges? Doesnt pay his employees minimunm wage? Advertises alignment? No Alignment Machine? Exoects his Secretary to work all day with no lunch? Employees to take breaks in chair in corner of shop and cant leave property??? Is this still America, or communist? He doesnt like you he calls all his cop buddys?

Wow!! Really nice people we needed air for a tire we had jut replaced and no tire shop in the area would help us out all too busy with ugly attitudes how very sad to see how people lost the hospitality to others in need we weren't asking for much just air and willing to pay for it.Very grateful may God bless you
