The people here are great and extremely helpful when explaining things. The prices are great too, with an oil change and fixing a tire coming out to about $100 per car which is fantastic compared to other places.The only downside was how painfully slow it was. For two cars, with an appointment for each, took over 4 hours, and the place wasn't even busy. But I see this as the 'You can only pick two: fast, cheap, and good. You get the cheap and good services here, while you pay with your time.Overall we'll be coming back for any and all issues with tires and oil changes.

Had a flat, got the car towed to Buck Owens location. Staff at this location especially Gavin & Brian at the front desk(hope got the name right) were really professional and friendly. Service with a smile and explained the alignment problem with my car very well.Kudos to both of these wonderful people for their professionalism and friendly attitudes I would highly recommend this place for any service.

Awesome service. I blew out my trailer tires and they got me, in even 5 minutes before opening, they were quick. I was back on the road fast.

These guys are awesome. They really are. The tire service, product, and customer service that I receive from them is always phenomenal. I needed three new tires, but because the car was not running at the time, I had to remove them and bring them in one at a time. They were so patient and very helpful. Also, I figured I might as well get the 4th one replaced while I was at it, and when I took it in, they told me that it was still practically new, and recommended that I not replace it, so they're honest too. Joe and Juan run a great team there.

Well I purchased 2 tires and had an alignment,so far so good,had a flat 3 days ago, got me right in and omw in 25 mins,I used the one by crystal palace.

I go here all the time for all my cars for tires, but this time I went for breaks. Not a good experience. Told them my front brakes squeak and it's getting vibration going down the Grapevine. Specifically told them to only do the front brakes! So they changed the rotors and tried to sell me struts for my back end (that I told them not to look at) that they said was leaking. Never had a problem with my rear vibrating until I get my car back and my front brakes still vibrate coming down the Grapevine. When I ask you to change 1 thing that I know was wrong, don't do anything else!!! Also said my A arm was cracked and tried to sell me that too. Stick to just tires at this place. Update, my brakes still squeak in the front and still vibrate coming down a hill.

My wife and I were traveling cross-country from New York State when we had a tire blow out. We had AAA tow us to the Wes Schwab in Bakersfield, and within a half hour they d determined they could patch it and had us back on the road. What s more, they said they were sorry we had such a traumatic experience and there was no charge. Fantastic service and good people.

The team at this shop is horrible (except for a lady in the front who is very kind and helpful), the guy who picked up the phone when I called kept trying to refund my money instead of answering my simple question of "can I get the tires installed at a location im nearby or do i need to come over there" I took my truck to get tires and they refused to do it because 3 bolts were loose on the control arm, they refused to tighten them even though they have multiple services that deal in messing with those bolts. Once I did get those bolts tightened they refused to do an alignment because they deemed my steering "stuff" "too messed up" but neglected to tell me they could also fix those things. They then proceeded to take well over an hour to change 4 tires, while other customers would come in pay, get their tires changed and leave before me. The guy working on my truck also would drop everything to help others with simple tasks any chance he could, including when my tires were done and he had to put 2 bolt covers which he didnt align (small thing doesnt take much longer but makes it look like you care) on so i could go and instead decided to do someone's tire pressure and make me wait even longer than I already had, he also would touch anything but the handle on my door (the window, the door frame, the cloth interior, etc.) Leaving fingerprints all over from his hands that had brake dust and tire soot all over them. Every question I asked him resulted in him finding someone else, having a conversation with them then him coming back and not having a good answer. I have never been more frustrated with a tire shop nor have I ever not wanted to go back to one. Dont go here.

I have been going to this location since 2016 and they have always taken care of me. Today I brought my car in for a wheel bearing replacement, and I had a small miscommunication with the crew members in the bay. One of the employees neglected to discuss price and began work on my car before I had accurate knowledge of cost/labor/etc. However, Juan (the manager) was able to clear up the whole thing for me and was super nice about it! He is a great leader for the team there. I was immediately at ease after speaking with him. 10/10 service thank you Juan! :)

They are charging me $500 for tie rod labor and an alignment. No discount for being a registered customer. Seems like they are only after the money .I already had tie rods fixed from les schwab. Cheap parts ?? I spent $2000 in tires and suspension work and I feel like they don't care about how I feel

Great customer service. I made a big blunder and went over the a parking lot tire retention device and punctured both front tires. Had the car towed to the Buck Owens Drive location late at night. The next morning I was there, 2nd in line. They took me right in, did a free tire inspection of all 4 tires. They very easily could have told me that my tires were damaged beyond repair, and sold me 2 new tires. However, they said the tires could be repaired and did just that. Joe was the rep that assisted me from start to finish and explained everything in detail. I was thinking I would be spending $600 that morning, but instead I left spending $67. I would highly recommend this location.

Justin Scott, the manager at LES SCHWAB TIRE in Bakersfield, CA is a "super hero". Most places wouldn't take the time to repair a flat tire of a 3-wheel electric bike but he did. Repairing the tire was not a easy task, it required taking the bike apart and that took about 45 minutes and he did it with a smile. When completed, he said no charge and thank you for coming in! Amazing, I didn't tell him another Tire Company told me they couldn't help but Justin Scott did. Thanks, Justin and LES SCHWAB TIRE.

I was traveling with my wife and grandkids...We had a tire separation between grapevine and Bakersfield.... We made it to our destination campground for the night.... I changed out the tire and installed the spare... But it was 30 lbs low..( my fault)... Located the store closest to my location... Pulled in to their truck center are and was greeted with how can I help you?... I told the technician what had happened and that I just needed some air.... Told him 80 psi...ok he said... filled the tire and then offered to torque the lug nuts to make sure they were tight....Service above and beyond.....Got us on our way and home safely.....Thank You.... Don and Stella Butler... Galt CAPS... 2020 Ram 3500 dually towing a 40 ft 5th wheel.

My low pressure light came on a few weeks ago. They checked all 4 of my tires, found 1 nail on my passenger side tire and fixed it without charge.I had been waiting for almost an hour even though there were no cars in the garage. No complaints but I don t think I may come back this place again due to waiting time.

My pregnant wife along with our 2 year old took the SUV in today for an alignment and tire rotation. Unfortunately, this stores customer service has tanked in the last 6 months. The appointment was set for 1pm and my wife had called to inform the store that she'd be a few minutes late. She arrived at 1:08pm. At around 2:15pm she had asked about what time the car would be done because she had our child's doctors appointment that same day after the alignment. The tech asks what time the appointment was for our child. My wife replies 3pm and then he decides to ask where the appointment was. After, he goes and checks on the car and comes back to let my wife know that our car would be ready in 30 to 40 minutes. This was surprising given that she had been there for over an hour already for her appointment. My wife was bothered by the fact that the gentlemen had the audacity to ask her those questions and the plain out lack of professionalism from everyone at the store. So my wife then let's our toddler go outside and sits on the bench as she is getting fussy at this point. Our vehicle is then pulled up to the front and the gentlemen merely walks by my wife without saying one word. She understands the car is obviously ready so she walks back into the store and stands at the desk while the gentlemen who just parked our car out front is typing away on the computer. After a short while he says to her, my name. She replies and she gets her receipt with no copy of the work report. Neither did the gentlemen send it it to our email address.This by far has been the lowest in customer service and communication standard of any Les Schwab I've been too. I loved the Ming location but that one closed down. I thought I found my replacement store at the Buck Owen's locations but fortunately I now know I need to find a different spot. My visit before this was okay but this was the last straw.

I was dealing with a very stressful situation with my car and the manager who works here totally made my day and provided me with the best customer service experience. Really change my whole day and made it less stressfull. I know not all situations will be like mine but the commitment to the brand as well as the the customers definitely left me very impressed. Not only that I could tell can tell they care about their customers and that really makes a big difference when providing a service. THANK YOU. Les Schwab!

I came to this location a week or so ago and needed an oil change for my vehicle as well as a brake check. I go in and the guy there seems okay at first, though seemed somewhat irritable. I wait and everything is fine until the guy comes back and gives me the keys. He seems perpetually irritated in general I guess but he tells me that they did the oil change but couldn't check the brakes because the lug nuts were on too right on the tires, and one got stripped really bad from them "attempting" it, and that I had to come back another day for them to drill it. My partner calls them a few days later, and they end up telling him that he has to pay 150 for them to fix their mistake. We say screw that, and go to another place and they told us that the lug nuts were not too tight and were perfectly fine and they don't know why one of your workers told us otherwise, as well as charging us less to fix and check the brakes. Not to mention one time before this, this same location checked another one of my vehicles last year and seemingly did not perform the free pre trip check because a few weeks later we found out our rotor and brakes needed to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. It seems some of your workers do not do their jobs correctly. I won't say every worker is bad because we had one worker do an excellent job at this location. Not sure what his name is but it's the younger guy with the goatee and brown hair I believe. Honestly he is the sole reason I won't give this place a one star lol.

Great and quick service. We were in Bakersfield for a doctor appointment and when we were leaving to go home (75 miles away) we noticed one of our tires was low. We googled tire shops and saw there was a Les Schwab shop only a block away. They took us right in to the air-conditioned waiting area while they checked all 4 of our tires. One had 2 nails in it so they fixed the tire and got us on our way. No charge!

Have been a loyal customer for years and the lady at the desk was very helpful in finding a tire not typically in stock. Just a suggestion: don't suggest to a customer who drove an hour to pick up his car that it might not be ready that day. A little scary but still appreciate you!

First, this location repaired a tire. I drove 20 miles and it was flat again. Returned and found another puncture they missed. Second, I went in for tire and brake check. They said everything was fine. I left and ten minutes later my low pressure light came on. I was 15 lbs low AND they didn't catch it.

Picked up a nail on 99 while traveling from Fresno back to LA with the family. Stopped here and was wowed by the customer service. We have always enjoyed great customer service from Les Schwab, but Acacia at this location is a gem. She printed pages for the kids to color, popped fresh popcorn and made sure no new customers were left waiting at the counter. Thank you for the great service!!

I've been there twice. The first time was good but, second time was horrible! I called on the phone to see if the were available and the guy tried to talk me out of going there and complained about the time and my vehicle but said if I was there by 5 they could do it. I got there 15 minutes before and was rudely greeted by another different employee at the counter. Was then harassed about not wanting to give out my email. Was then asked for a signature by the employee only saying "signature". No explanation of what for I'm signing for (I assume authorization) and when I didn't immediately sign he said "signature" again. No explanation or even prices. Then another customer came in for the exact same service and got their vehicle worked on before mine. The guy that cashed me out on the other hand was nice and professional, but 2 out of 3 is horrible. The management there should really address their employees behavior or maybe even someone from corporate. It was a completely unprofessional experience and is not the way business should be handled.

The service is exceptional! i traveled to Bakersfield from Visalia for a appointment, after the appointment I noticed my car driving funny. I pulled into Les schwab and they had me in and out within 30 minutes. Turned out I ran over a screw! Anyway! I didn t get the names of the gentlemen who helped me out today but I do what to say thank you again! i offered to pay and the amazing man working donated it to their toy drive!! Thank you for the awesome service! I felt so safe and at ease driving home just in time for work.

I went there because I was told that I needed all new tires. The guys at les Schwab were very nice. They looked at my tires and told me I have at least another good 6 months or more. I really appreciate their honesty. Because some other place would have just sold me tires that I don't need yet. I will most definitely be bringing all of our vehicles her from now on.

Excellent service! Highly recommended for flat tire repair. They even remounted my tire from the tailgate and washed it for free. The whole staff including Justin the manager was very nice and easy to deal with.

I recently purchased new aftermarket rims and was experiencing some serious vibration issues at speeds of 70 and above. My entire car was literally shaking at these speeds and it felt very unsafe. Instead of returning to the tire shop who had installed my rims and balanced them, I decided to bring my car into Les Schwab in hopes that they could fix the issue that the other tire shop had overlooked.Let s just say, that I wish I had come to the guys at Les Schwab first! I was helped out by Vic and he did an incredibly professional job diagnosing and explaining the reasons behind the vibration I was experiencing. He showed me first hand how my tires were bouncing as they spun, and showed me how the computer was indicating that the tires were out of balance. He gave me some options for tires and I decided on the Velozza tires and I m glad I did. My car drives butter smooth and it feels brand new. I ll definitely be coming back.

We stopped by to have RV tire pressure checked. Easy on and off 99 via Buck Owens exit. Very friendly and helpful staff! Very nice young man, Dexter, did our tires. They even had a cover to park under out of the rain.
