Great team over there . I pulled into a very full lot, and at first sight, I have to say I was worried it may take weeks to get my truck in BUT THAT was not the case. They likened to my concerns with my Diesel Ford F-350 , I left my truck, I got a call the next day, and in 2 days, I was done, and my invoice was fare .I'll use them again and I'll send my friends and family here . Gal at counter is very rude! Replaced transmission completely for the price quoted but it took 8 days longer than we were told. Mechanic has better manners than gal at counter. Not voting for their customer service skills

I retracted my first review.. I wasn't sure if the work was good. Had some problems afterwards.. but it wasn't Gil's transmissions fault.. I just went over the grapevine and back and my 33 year old car drove great.. I still think they could be a little nicer. But my car is the important thing..

I had a wonderful experience at Gill's transmission I am so glad I went there. They took care of everything I needed in a very fast and friendly manner for a very very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone who needs transmission work done.

A job that I was told to take about a day took over a week. They had an issue when they changed out the harness on the truck crimped a wire on the harness call the truck and then called us and told us it wouldn't pass smog anymore after a week they figured out what they did wrong. So far so good when I go back really not sure

I couldn't be more impressed. I took our civic in for a transmission service and asked the mechanic to ride with me to listen to a sound I thought may be the transmission. When I returned, they had serviced the transmission and filled the power steering fluid (stopped the sound). They went above and beyond, didn't charge me for the power steering fluids, and the price for the transmission service was more than reasonable. They have a lifelong customer in me!

Counter person is very rude they had my car for a week and never got looked at . I was told by owner he would look at it the next day on a Friday I was told it would be the next they would be able to look at i told the rude woman there is going to pick it up when I got my car was parked outside the gate unlocked. When I told her she threw the keys at me very bad this should not have Gill s name on this business!!Service: Transmission

I always bring my cars in here when they need transmission work because Gil's Transmission is the best in town! Tom (the gentlemen who writes up my repair order) is super honest and keeps it simple and that's how it should be. I strongly strongly recommend you bring your vehicles here for transmission work/service.

Great work. They stand behind there work 100%. The owner personally work on my truck and handled all my concerns. However the receptionist is not very customer friendly. But thats ok you can ask to talk to owner so you don't have to deal with her rudeness

They had my car over a month. When the transmission came in, they put it in and found out it was bad. They changed me for the labor. That was not my fault and I shouldn t have to pay for the labor! They were very rude about it too. I will never use them again and will not recommend anyone to them!

Fast and friendly service with the best prices in town. 125 for a complete transmission service. They replaced the gasket and transmission filter and filled with fluids. Labor cost was only 40 for the service the rest was parts and fluid costs.

I took my 2001 Silverado there for diagnostics to determine whether my transmission needs to be rebuilt I was first told nothing was wrong with my transmission I was told they would drop the pan and then get back to me they got back to me and told me I needed to complete rebuild I paid $2100 I noticed the same problems were happening after the rebuild I took it to another transmission shop and they noticed that my overdrive tow and haul button was not functioning properly why I did not hear this from gills transmission ? Did I really need or did I get a rebuild ?? We will never know ? What I have now is a 2 yr 24k Mike warrentry ,Service: Transmission

I will say though make sure you if your Problems are with the Silverado Chevy make sure your towing hall switches are all accurate as wires break the steering column and throws your transmission into overdrive which emulates a poor transmissionService: TransmissionService: Transmission

I've had Gil's transmission do work on at least three of my vehicles and I won't take it anywhere else but them I trust gils which is rare for me
