This shop replaced the water pump on my Buick. The car was sounding strange when we picked it up. They looked it over, found the issue and corrected it. They are honest and took care of us. We chose this shop based on reviews and felt it important that we contribute to those reviews. Thank you to this crew!

Although I ve never gotten any service or work from these guys every time I call them they are willing to share their knowledge and expertise. It s a busy shop for a reason, and Bakersfield is lucky to have such trust worthy business owners in automotive repair!

Honest and respectable! I'm not usually one to post reviews but I just had the most pleasant experience at this company that I had too. The people are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are fair and they dont have sneaky fees.Friends, if you need to take your vehicle for work, advice or what not this is the place to do it.

I'm a backyard mechanic since I was a kid and can easily spot good shops when I see them. Shane is the real deal. Friendly, professional and honest. I have no trouble highly recommending him.

I will definitely be going here for all my automotive needs for now on. I was expecting to pay for a new air conditioner compressor, but was told I only needed new belts, saving me $800. Thanks George and Shane for being honest businessmen that I can trust!

It is very hard to find a shop that is honest, trustworthy, and has decent pricing, and this place is just the absolute best. They know what they're talking about, won't give you the run around, and will listen to and answer all your questions!!! Very highly recommend these guys!!!

When you find a good mechanic, you KEEP THEM! This is one of those places that won't rip you off. I had a support joint on my drive shaft break, dropping my drive shaft while on the freeway. Had it taken there and in a few hours and only about $120, the replaced the joint, put it all back together and I was on my way.

My experience with Fruitvale Automotive was exceptional. No one likes to pay for getting things fixed on their cars. We all just want things to work, right? But when something is wrong and you need some help, this is the place to go. Shane was helpful and honest. Don t hesitate to call or stop by.

ok, not a super mechanically knowledgeable person, but I ain't that stupid...it's true mechanics have you by the shorty hairs when it's your knowledge vs. trust times profit...no need to stress, this business model is built on truth and competence, I've tested several times over years, never disappointed...dude who said they're expensive is full of gunkShane will not betray you

They did good work and had it done in the time frame that was originally promised. They made sure to diagnose the problem correctly and not just guess at it. Seems to be very knowledgeable and realistic.
