It's the best Firestone branch I've ever dealt with. I'm in LA, but I drive all the way to this shop in Bakersfield because of their great service. I go to this store mainly for alignment and the do fantastic job. Very professional, respectful, and friendly staff. I strongly recommend using their services

A year ago, just before Thanksgiving, a criminal neighbor put sugar in my car's gas tank. He wanted me to move out so his family could rent the house where I was living while my husband Jose was serving a too-long (and unfair) sentence in a California prison. I discovered the attack when I tried to fill up my Chevy's tank, and gas spewed back at me. I had my car towed to this Firestone just before closing. Cesar and his mechanics saved my car! The sugar got stuck on a filter in the gas line and didn't enter the gas tank. After cleaning out the line for a reasonable price, Cesar gave me a free bottle of gas tank cleaner. He even helped me get a Firestone credit card to pay for the repairs. My husband Jose should be free before next Thanksgiving, and maybe we will go thank Cesar again, together

I finally have a trustworthy mechanic. All great experiences so far. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Prices are fair and reasonable. They work with German cars and handle all car maintenance and preventative care. The automotive technician explained in simple terms the car issue so I was able to understand what was going on with my car. Thank you!

Brad service/ sales manager was very polite, knowledgeable in regards to my vehicle. Also explained how everything would be done,very detailed. A young woman service tech/ mechanic with blonde brownish hair was very polite and helpful as well. So was a young man with blonde hair was very helpful he was very polite and helped me bring my old battery to the car because it was dirty he didn't want me to carry it. Which was very nice and respectful I appreciate it. The service was fast and efficient. Yes I would recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care for their cars. I also just brought my other car in Monday 1,2024 @ 9 am because I am very confident in the work they provide.

Worst customer service. Guy at the front desk was very rude! Don t recommend this place to anyone. My new tire popped in the freeway almost crashed!! I was told by Bridgestone warranty to take it in so they could inspect it. The guy at the front said he didn t have time to leave my tire and maybe he d check it the next day. I needed my tire fixed since I live about 40 min away and that was the nearest location. I couldn t continue to drive on my spare tire. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Will continue to tell all my family and friends about this place. DONT RECOMMEND. They really need to train their employees. Will be contacting corporate about this.Service: Tires

I have never had a problem with this Firestone location. However, on my last visit I had 4 new tires put on, and to take over two hours is unreasonable.Especially when I hear the Manager on the phone asking other stores if they could use some help because they have techs just standing around.The manager is nice enough, but he seems to lack the authority to get his techs to work quickly and in this case, work at all.

Service on January 13 2024 I got an oil change Jan 13th a week before I had my spark plugs changed, so I had an appointment and it still took 2 hours and my oil still seemed dirty after when I checked it, the paperwork said my windshield wiper fluid was topped off it was actually empty afterwards and it was not which makes me think did they even check the rest of my fluids... Service on January 20th 2024 I was getting spark plugs changed, I was quoted 186 from brad and I got a 50 dollar discount for applying for your card so 136 with labor and tax, well I called the only other Firestone in town and got a quote for my same car and motor and was quoted 136 with labor and tax but without the 50 dollars off so like 86 with the discount, and then I called the same Firestone off of stine road that I always go to and got a quote from Jesus for 166 with labor and and tax but was still charged 190 by brad minus the discount for a grand totalof 142.98... I was charged 26.99 for each spark plug

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I didn t even wanna give it one star.. so first I had an appointment at 3pm for new tires, I get here thirty min early.. didn t get my car on a rack until a little after 4pm. And now it s going on 6 pm and my car STILL ISNT READY. Not to mention we ve sat here all this time roamed the parking lot and back.. SLOW CUSTOMER SERVICE. I m starving, but I feel even worse for the elderly that has been here longer than me. Hearing one lady complain on how long she been here and she obviously tired it s been four and half hours for her.. I ll never do this again. Like don t set appointment times if you can t follow through I felt as if I should have been educated on the wait and I could have easily rescheduled if it was employee situations going on. The customer shouldn t have to be punished for that.

I absolutely love the workers and work performed here at Firestone on Stine Rd, Manager Roger G was nothing but nice, generous and quite helpful with all my needs, I drive an hour out of town just to buy my tires and be serviced, highly recommended

I ended up coming to this location twice while driving thru and the guys here are phenomenal! Super sweet and helpful. They know about cars & were super fast in doing oil change and alignment. Even when they were packed with appointments, they switched out my battery for me, cuz it was being drained by the brake switch being gone (fell apart).

The guy at the front desk was kinda rude, it seemed like I inconvenienced him because I asked if they had time to put air in the tires , he said the air compressor wasn't on and it would take about 15 minutes for them to put air. I told him i dont mind waiting, then I walked out to wait and an employee was very rude asked me what I need and I told him I need air he said I just got here I don't have time then said if you want to wait you can wait. So I told him we'll I was going to wait but I'll think I'll leave. So I just went to pepboys around the corner

I booked an appointment for a brake inspection. The appointment was confirmed via email but I was met by Brad, the rude front desk employee. While showing him my confirmation email, he nonchalantly replied "no it's not confirmed." I attempted to show him the email confirming the appointment and he wouldn't even bother looking while replying "I handle all of the emails." Basically denying me service. The worst experience I ever had, so I took my car to another company. Safe to say I'll never give them business again. BEWARE of this place, especially Brad.

I called about my AC not working. I explained to the service writer that my compressor pulley froze up and burnt the belt off. He gave me a quote for a new compressor, condenser, belt, and a few other things. He explained they would have to do a diagnostics test first to make sure that was the issue. I was good with that. I took my truck down there on Friday at 2pm. I told him I would be there Saturday morning to pick my truck up with repairs done. I called on Saturday and was told they were still waiting on parts to come in. They told me it would be done by end of day on Saturday. I told them I would pick truck up on Sunday. I called Sunday to make sure it was done before heading down there. I was then told all parts were there and truck would be done by noon. I called at 12:15pm and was then told the mechanic refused to work on my truck. They could not give me a reason for this. I have taken several of my vehicles there for repair in the past with no issues. I requested to see manager, but he is on vacation. He gave me the district managers number. I called him that same day and left a message. Today is Monday 12:40 pm and no response. Very disappointed with this situation.The store is on New Stine road in Bakersfield Ca. Store# 022705.

I used to like coming here and trusting them with my car but after this last visit I'm not sure I will ever go back. I went in to have my wheel bearings checked because my car makes a loud road noise when driving and gets louder with higher speed. They couldn't pin point the noise and said my wheel bearings looked fine. I asked for my cabin filter and air filter to be changed. They didn't change them but told me after being there for three hours that they needed to be changed. Then driving home when I would step on the gas to accelerate quickly my engine was making this crazy loud noise that wasn't happening before I took it in. I got home and looked under my hood to see if there was something noticeable, found tools under my hood, but the noise still happens when I push on the gas to accelerate. I asked for an alignment too but my car pulls to the right now. I need to take it back so they can fix their mistake but not certain I want them touching my car again. 3 hours with an appointment, nothing fixed or replaced. Just a huge waste of my day. Not very pleased. They used to have way better service.

We went there once after having made an appointment for an alignment to find that they never put our appointment into their computer system. We spent time arguing with them until they finally decided to look at our car. We decided to give them another chance and made an appointment to get an alignment and complete brake check and when we got there they told us they could do the alignment but didn't have time for the brakes. We argued with them because the person who put the appointment into their computer system should have told us if they weren't going to be able to do it. We came from out of town (an hour in each direction), so we were incredibly upset. Will not be coming here again!!!

A BUNCH OF CROOKS!! Do not go here unless you want to pay for a pile of unnecessary repairs!!!!I went in because my car started making a scraping sound. I told them that I thought it was related to my brakes (the noise stopped when braking). After allegedly doing a full inspection they quoted me $2000 to replace the control arms, shocks, and struts.I went to get other estimates (as you always should), and it turns out that a bolt holding my calipers in place vibrated out. Like I thought, the sound had NOTHING to do with the repairs that Firestone said were the cause. This should have been incredibly obvious to even a weekend mechanic. I had the other shop check the control arms, shocks, and struts, just to be sure. They were fine and did not need replacing. Rather than paying $2000 for the repairs Firestone claimed I needed, I got the issue fixed for $10. I'll never go back to Firestone again for ANYTHING. If you value your money, you'll avoid them too.

So happy to have found this tire shop. After searching around town, came across Ben who took excellent care of us and got us back on the road. As someone who knows about cars, I overheard several customer interactions where many auto shops would ve attempted to take advantage of them and sell unnecessary services NOT HERE. Ben provided honest feedback that was both informative and in the best interest of those customers. I would highly recommend this store for your tire & service needs.

We called to schedule an appointment to get our oil changed. They got us in sooner than expected, but we were running a little late. However they still took us and now our car is running smoothly with new oil.

I work for Firestone in evergreen (Colorado) Im a lead producing A tech in the region... I called this location because I hit a pot hole and needed to replace a tire on my Mercedes Benz... The store manager answered the phone and wasn't even half interested in trying to make the tire sale .. I have run flat tires and they are easily over 250 per tire plus install .. as an investedase certified tech for Bridgestone I'm concerned for this locations production & customers due to poor management

Traveling through town and brought vehicle in at 10am for a flat repair because I was told it would get taken care of in about an hour and a half. Turned out it needed a new tire instead, but here I sit three and a half hours later and the truck is still sitting outside the garage. Was told several times as I waited it would take about an hour, but it ended up being almost 4 hours. Mechanics seemed to be leisurely going about their work. Don't believe the banner that proclaims "Right on Time."Watching customer after customer enter without face masks, and sales people also not wearing any--even though it is posted on the door. No wonder California is having so much trouble getting a hand on the explosive spread of Covid-19.

We have taken multiple vehicles here and they have NEVER been able to help. One truck with alignment and another with breaks. Would never recommend this company. Poor customer service as well. Our vehicle was left on site in the parking lot for 3 days before they decided to even look at it. Called back daily until they decided they would not be able to help us.

This is the longest I have ever waited for an oil change! Three people ahead of me were also there for an oil change and they waited for almost 3 hours. My appointment was at 3:30pm and guess what! It's almost 5 and they haven't looked at my car yet. Not even close.

Bad service, long waits.I have been a customer for 10 yrs. Service has gotten worse as prices have increased. Appointments are a joke. They failed to check all fluid levels at my last visit and tried to upsell me on tires for a 20 year old car. I got great tires at American Tire and better service for $220. less. Done with them.
